Gorgeous construction, but runs small
The material feels expensive and the boning and interior construction are fantastic- definitely no bra needed, even with a large chest. Unfortunately, I also found it ran a bit small; I almost always wear a 6 in Badgley Mischka dresses, and I definitely need an 8 in this dress.

I've never felt so beautiful!
I wore this dress to the Marine Corps Birthday Ball. I don't think a single item of clothing has ever fit me as perfectly as this dress- I felt like someone had custom made it for me. I'm generally a 4, and wore the 2; however, I have recently lost some weight so I wasn't certain what size I would need. The single issue I had with this dress was the length. Despite being the "regular" length, at 5'3" with 5 inch heels on, there was a good 3 inches of fabric still pooling on the floor! I panicked at first, but I managed to hem the dress temporarily with fashion tape and some creative pinning. I am still getting compliments 3 days later, both from people who I saw at the event and people who saw pictures. I never wanted to take this dress off!! A note to more well-endowed ladies: I'm a 32E/F, and definitely had cleavage happening, but not in a trashy way. Be prepared with fashion tape, though, to keep things from..."shifting" unexpectedly!

Sexy and elegant
I was sent this dress as a backup for a military ball. This may have been the sexiest dress I've ever put on in my life- I felt incredible! I ultimately decided to wear my original pick because this dress shows EVERYTHING and I wanted to be sure I'd feel comfortable all night long eating, dancing, sitting, etc without feeling like I needed to "suck it in." Shapewear (and underwear) lines of any kind will 100% show under the fabric, so keep that in mind. I would definitely rent this again, maybe for an event where I knew I'd be a bit more stationary, or after a little more time at the gym ;)

I wore this bracelet to a military ball with the Jill Jill Stuart Sapphire Sweetheart gown and Slate & Willow Crystal Leaves Dangling earrings. The perfect little bit of bling! For those with tiny wrists like me, this fit perfectly- added plus!

Elegant and glamorous!
I wore these earrings with the Jill Jill Stuart Sapphire Sweetheart gown and the Elizabeth Cole Aurora Spark bracelet to a military ball. The earrings were the perfect statement piece, as I opted against wearing a necklace with the low neckline on the dress. They both stood out and blended in, catching the light really nicely, even against my dark hair, but without taking away from the rest of the look. They were also incredibly comfortably; despite their size, I didn't even notice their weight all night long. I would recommend these to anyone, and would rent again (or buy!) in a heartbeat!

So glamorous!
I rented these earrings to go with my dress for a military ball. I ended up wearing a different pair of earrings I had rented, but I will absolutely be renting these again in the future! Sparkly without being tacky or costume-y, substantial-feeling without being uncomfortable, and looked like they were brand new. Highly recommend!

Fun and sexy!
I rented this along with several other dresses for a fancy date night and ended up going with this one. I felt and looked amazing! The dress is snug, but true to size. The scuba material holds everything in, and the print is very slimming and distracts from any areas you might not be as comfortable with. I tried the dress on backwards and forwards because I liked how some of the other renters looked with the low V in the front; unfortunately, I think my torso is just too short to pull it off because the V came down too far on me (almost showing the top of my stomach!) But it looked lovely with the V in the back as well. I originally planned to wear bare legs and nude pumps, but freezing temps meant going with black tights and black pumps instead, which was still a nice look. Sparkly earrings (my own, the pair I rented arrived broken..twice), a funky ring, and a pop of red lipstick and I was good to go. I highly recommend this dress, and would absolutely rent again!

I felt amazing!
This dress was a total showstopper. I wore it to a formal New Year's Eve party at a trendy hotel downtown, and it was the perfect balance of sexy and sophisticated for the event. The top is very low cut (and I have a large chest, so there was nothing subtle about it), but it's balanced by the longer length (all the way to my knees at 5'3") and the muted colors. The tan/nude shade has a distinct champagne shimmer to it, and I paired the dress with a champagne clutch, nude heels, and gold/rhinestone Alexis Bittar earrings and ring. I got dozens of compliments from total strangers, and my date's eyes about fell out of his head when he saw me for the first time (talk about a confidence boost!). This was my first Herve Leger rental, but absolutely will not be my last. Worth every penny!

Tons of sparkle!
These were sent as substitutes for the earrings I had initially rented to go with a backup dress; the original earrings were either returned late or damaged. These were a beautiful alternative, and were very striking, even against dark hair. They do have weight to them, but I would not describe them as heavy at all. I would absolutely rent again for another event!

Beautiful and unique
I wore this for my cousin's wedding, where I was doing a reading during the service. I picked this dress because the colors complimented the wedding colors, without exactly matching. I got SO many compliments on this dress from family, as well as total strangers. The neckline is low, but a little fashion tape held everything in place so I could dance without concern about a wardrobe malfunction. There's really no way to wear a bra with this. I actually wish I had ordered the 4 (rather than the 8) as my backup size; despite the many reviews saying the waist was super snug, I found it to be just average and might have been more comfortable in the smaller size (every other part of the dress is full, so fit isn't really an issue). I wore this with strappy black heels and garnet jewelry. The skirt was so much fun for dancing in- I had a blast and was so sad to send this back. Don't be afraid of the bold style- it makes you feel like a celebrity.

Stunning!!
I rented these to match a backup style that I did not end up wearing, and I was so disappointed to not get to wear these! They're absolutely beautiful, with an Art Deco flair to them. They are a bit longer than I was expecting, but were very lightweight and comfortable to wear for an extended period of time (I wore them around my apartment in my sweats for several hours because I was bummed I couldn't wear them to the event!). I will definitely be renting these again for another event.

Gorgeous, but BRIGHT pink!
I rented these for a wedding thinking they were a soft amethyst purple color, like in the photos- in person, they are a bright, almost hot, pink. Still beautiful, and a great size and weight to wear comfortably, but a complete mismatch for my plum colored dress. I would rent again for another outfit for sure though!

The most beautiful earrings I've ever worn!
I would buy these in a heartbeat- they're the perfect size (big but not overwhelming) and the perfect color (hints of blush but totally still neutral). They look great with your hair up or down, and because of their neutral color, you could wear either bold makeup or a more subtle palate. AMAZING.

Felt like a princess!
Sorry for the bathroom selfie! I wore this out for an anniversary dinner with my boyfriend. This dress is so chic and so special! I needed help zipping it up (the sleeves are very snug), but once I got it on, I didn't want to take it off!! I have a large bust, but a small ribcage; if you have a wider ribcage, definitely size up for comfort, as the fabric has no give to it. It took a few minutes to get all the tulle layers smoothed out, but it was absolutely worth the effort- I felt so glamorous all night. I paired it with nude heels and the Lotus Earrings. Would love to rent again!

I felt (and looked) like a million bucks!!
This is the most amazing dress I've even worn! It is spectacular- every square inch (except for the black trim in the pictures) is covered in tiny sequins. The dress hangs and flows beautifully- fitted along the hips and then flowing out gracefully around the knees, with a small train in the back. The green color is a fabulous, yet not overly flashy, alternative to the typical black evening gown. I would recommend keeping your accessories simple and small- there's no reason to compete with the dress! I received more compliments than I could count, and I felt amazing in this gown. I could get the 4 on, but it was very snug and I knew I had a long night of dancing ahead so I went with the 6 for comfort. The regular length was a fine for me. I'm 5'3" and wore 4" heels. The toes of the heels were a bit visible under the hem, but it looked just fine and kept the back hem from dragging too much. The lining of the dress is very comfortable, but be aware that any place where your bare skin is going to rub the sequins, it is going to leave the skin pretty raw. This was easily remedied, though- when I got home for the night, I moisturized those spots heavily, put on a long sleeved shirt, and when I woke up, good as new! Renting this dress was some of the best money I've ever spent. If you're considering this dress for a specially occasion- do it, you won't be sorry!!!

I felt spectacular!
This dress, which originally was my backup style for another rental, turned out to be a major score!! I chose to wear it to a holiday party thrown by my high school alumnae network at a very upscale venue in the city. This dress was appropriately sophisticated for the occasion and fit me like a glove. I typically wear a 4 or a 6, so I would recommend sizing down. Even with a large bust, the 2 was a perfect fit. I accessorized with black heels and sparkly silver earrings. Although the cut of the dress is very form-fitting, the draping on the front made it surprisingly forgiving and comfortable to wear without feeling like I had to suck it in all night. Great dress- would absolutely rent again!

A hint of sparkle
This was a cute dress for a holiday party. The fit was true to size, but I went with the 6 instead of the 4 because it is quite short, even on my small frame (I'm 5'3") and I wanted a little extra length since I knew I'd be seeing some professional acquaintances at the function. I styled it with black tights, black suede pumps, and long gold tassel earrings. The dress was comfortable all night and very forgiving around the stomach, which was a relief once I began to dig into all the amazing food. It wasn't the most amazing dress I've ever worn, but it was cute, classy, and a good option for the occasion.

I rented these earrings to go with the DIane Von Furstenberg One Too Many Dress. I wore the dress to work with simple studs, and added these earrings to transition my look into the evening for a cocktail party. They are so fun and flirty and absolutely did the trick! Went effortlessly from workday to night out!
I rented this dress for a cocktail party I attended. Knowing I would probably be leaving for the party directly from my office, I was hoping to find something that would be appropriate in both settings (I'm an attorney, so that's a pretty tall order). This dress absolutely fit the bill! I wore it during the day with the zipper fully up for the conservative neckline, with black tights, pumps, a black blazer, and simple stud earrings. To go out, I ditched the blazer, lowered the zipper for a little cleavage, and added the Kate Spade Hot Pink Statement Earrings (also rented) and some bright lipstick. The dress was a huge hit both at work and at the party- I got tons of compliments and so many people asked me where I had gotten the dress. Some fit notes: the dress, like most by DVF, runs small. I'm typically a 4 or 6, but after reading reviews, I opted to rent the 6 and 8 instead and actually had to wear the 8 (couldn't even zip the 6 up). I have a large bust but a small ribcage, so the top was snug on me, but not uncomfortably or unflatteringly so. I liked how structural the dress was because I felt that was what enabled me to wear it to work as well as to a party. I would rent this dress again in a heartbeat!!!

Beautiful, but not quite right for my dress
I received these earrings as a Stylist Surprise with the Badgley Mischka Take the Stage Gown that I rented for a black tie wedding. The earrings themselves are gorgeous, but were much too much (in my opinion) with the full-sequined gown, especially to be worn to a wedding that was not my own :). These would be stunning with a more simple or solid dress as focal pieces. Be aware- they are clip-ons (in case that's a dealbreaker for you!)
