This dress fit great and is very forgiving. I still did not wear it. The shoulder straps were very short and They were not adjustable.

Love this dress
Dress runs small. So glad I sized up a size and 2 sizes from what I normally wear. The fabric is thick, but not too thick so very forgiving. Went with the larger size to allow room for walking. Otherwise, not easy to walk in. So many compliments. My husband said I needed to buy this dress!

Dark, rich, beautiful color! Stands out!
I wore it to a Dia de los Muertos masquerade ball and this dress matched perfectly with my headpiece, that I couldn't have planned it better! The dress was true to size, but it was a little tight on the upper bust that I had to wear it without a bra. Not sure what an 8 would have been like, but since this was a backup sent; I only had one size available. By the end of the night, the sides of the upper dress were digging into my skin, but the rest of the dress of great. The dress on the RTR shows it with a black belt, but when I received the dress, it didn't come with it. I was able to use one of mine as shown in picture. PS. I also rented the necklace in the picture as one of the pieces they had originally recommended.
