I'm in my late 50's. Wore this dress as my mother-of-the-bride attire at our (only) daughter's wedding. Not too matronly but not too "young-looking". I usually wear either a 4R or 6R so ordered both these sizes. Ended up going with the 6R as 4R was a bit too snug around the waistband (as others have stated). Was also a bit longer than tea length but I didn't mind that at all. As others have said, the zipper was tricky to get up right at the waistband so definitely needed help with that. It's a gorgeous dress & wedding guests were raving about it!

CONS: 1) There really is no "give" in the rib cage area of the dress. Wasn't a deal breaker just felt a bit more "snug" than I would have preferred. 2) The dress was a tiny bit too long...even with 3" heels and having ordered the regular length. Just had to be aware all evening of not stepping on the hem. Again, not a deal breaker; just an inconvenience. PROS: 1) The dress is beautiful!! 2) It has a great "flow" to it. 3) I got soooooo many compliments on it! Thank you, Rent The Runway!
