CUTE
Didn't end up wearing but loved. Heavy sweater material, great fit. It's not that hard to put on if you treat the whole thing like a long shirt! Just go through the bottom as if you were putting on a normal dress/shirt, just avoid the cutouts.

As everyone has said, it is 0% forgiving and shows every curve (even though the material is kind of crinkly/bumpy). Color is fun, can dress up more or less, and loved the back.

Not real denim - definitely stretchy (and more comfy). Nice solid wash. Crop hit great on me (5'8"). Don't need these in full time rotation but were nice for a rental.

Nice basic sweater

Interesting dress!
I'm not really sure how many opportunities I'd have for this dress but it was great for a onetime/daytime work event where I needed to look nice but be comfortable. Could also maybe see this on vacation. It's a surprisingly heavy / more formal material than I would've expected, but also like cottony at the same time? Weird but again it worked well for daytime. Was great with flats – would've been weird with heels.

Great for a trip
Loved this for a boat day with a company event. Easy to run around and still look polished. One of my coworkers said 'you look like you're ready for Paris!' but it felt more coastal to me. :) A little shorter than I may have wanted (hit at a weird length for me at 5'8") but not a dealbreaker. Very form fitting so loved the tie for a little distraction around the midsection.

Perfect for work gala
Loved for this for working a company gala – very dressy and pretty without being revealing or restricting. Length hit right above the shoe (I'm 5'8" and wore 3" heels) which was nice for running around. Very snug in the bust/chest/upper area – had to size up.

BEAUTIFUL and interesting
Obsessed with this dress. Got it as a backup and didn't wear because my original worked better for the event, but looking for future excuses to wear this one. Classy, sophisticated, and fairly formal. Very unique and different. Material is very body conscious so the correct undergarments would be essential, even for the most confident of ladies. And what everyone else has said is correct: the placement of the tag is super weird and visible. Would have to do something about that. But... totally worth it! This dress is awesome and I can't wait to find a time to wear it.

Another great rental. Great quality (no snags/issues with the lace which was impressive). Really nice structure, good length. I normally like things short and this was just a tad longer than I'd normally opt for, but good for a wedding with a bunch of friends' parents present. Fun skirt to twirl in, fun back, very subtle cleavage situation with lace mostly covering that area but a tiny bit of skin showing through. XS fit but was pretty restrictive since the material has zero give. Went with the S to be more comfy eating/dancing.

This dress is obviously awesome. Everything previously said is true: runs small, so you'll definitely want to size up. Material is really nice / typical Elizabeth & James. Thick enough to wear without a bra (if you're comfortable with that) but not so thick that you're sweating all night. Slit and cutout are lovely — not too revealing but adds a nice bit of sexy. I'm 5'8" and wore the long with 4-inch heels. Could wear a regular with flats. (Posted two photos: one with shoes and one without.) There were one or two spots where the dress didn't quite lay PERFECTLY on me, but it was still a huge hit. Would definitely rent again // highly recommend.

So many compliments. Fit great. Pattern is awesome and varies from dress to dress. Worn for a VERY hot summer wedding and was fairly comfortable. Long is not ideal for hot summer dancing, but obviously not the dress's fault. Material is thin enough (while still being formal looking / not cheap) that you can stay somewhat cool, and of course the slit helps. I'm on the taller side and I wore the regular — length was perfect for flats. Would definitely rent again!

Edgy & cute
Probably my favorite RTR dress out of 6-8 rented over the past year. Wore it to a work party/event that was music-related so the edge factor made sense. Wouldn't normally wear for something work-related, but it was perfect for this. Material isn't SUPER dressy — good to keep in mind for more formal events, but wasn't cheap-looking either. The little hooks came undone once in a while but not a big problem. If you don't like short, this might not be the dress for you. :) (At 5'8" and with heels, the 2 was hitting mid-thigh.) Loved it!

Great for a shower
Great, light, daytime baby or bridal shower dress. Colors are fun and pattern is interesting/different. Black parts are not as dark as I expected. Material is lightweight but nice quality. (Super see-through — had to wear a slip.) Goes well with lots of different shoe options — I had a hard time deciding! And I liked the length — short but not crazy. Probably won't rent it again but it was good for a one-time use!

Really lovely… conservative + a little flair
First RTR experience — loved this dress and the whole process. The dress is pretty structured — no stretch at all — so I wore the bigger of the two I ordered. Once I carefully got it on, it was fairly comfortable. Didn't need a bra. Probably not perfect for dancing the night away (semi-stiff lace sleeves), but was really nice for a work party/event. I also didn't sit down much in it, so it may not be SUPER comfortable for that either, but I'm not sure. The lace and material seemed to be great quality and the color is a really pretty burgundy (hard to see much detail in my mediocre pic) — good alternative to all the black I usually wear. The zipper was tricky at first as many have mentioned, but on the day of the event, it zipped just fine. The back is beautiful. Very elegant/classy choice — definitely recommend!
