LOVE
Love, love, love this dress. 6R fit like a glove and it's the perfect mix of sexy and understated. Nice heavy fabric with lining, so I only wore a bra to help fill out the top a bit as it didn't hit me quite right, but wouldn't have needed one otherwise and didn't feel I needed spanx even though it's fairly fitted. I would ABSOLUTELY rent this again and wish I could justify purchasing it!

This was outside my comfort zone - I'm not normally one for sparkles/metallic/etc., but I thought a Christmas party was the perfect excuse to try it. I didn't end up wearing it as I went with my primary option - it was a little tighter than I wanted (ordered an 8, normally wear 6-8 in dresses), so I couldn't get the lining to lay quite right and wasn't quite comfortable. Gorgeous dress though - heavy knit fabric and the deep metallic are perfect for a winter party!

Wanted to love it
Really wanted to love this, but I just didn't love it on me. The colors are a little more dull than they appeared online which washed me out and the cut was not quite as flattering on me as review photos, so didn't end up wearing it, though it was super comfy. if I didn't already have a couple jumpsuits/maxi dresses for this trip that were a bit more flattering, I probably would have worn it despite the drawbacks!

I found these TTS though the waist is definitely fitted and not stretchy, so the overall fit is a little picky esp if you're curvy - suggest sizing based on your true waist measurement (and be honest!). I found the length just right with 2.5-3" heels and I have a relatively short inseam (28") for my height, so don't get how they can be too long unless you're wearing them lower than intended. If you can get the fit right though, these are great! Love the proportions and the fabric is light and flowy without being revealing of lumps and bumps.

rented this for a black tie wedding - it was actually the backup dress when RTR was unable to send my first choice but I'm so glad I stumbled on it in the new arrivals section as I loved it! the 38L fit me perfectly - the waist is fitted so if you're bigger in the middle, I would size up as your backup, but otherwise the fit is very forgiving and the length was just right for me with 3.5" heels. I went bra-less and was totally comfortable. It was light and easy to move in, the draping was subtle and beautiful. The only potential issue is I felt the straps were somewhat long for me with the looseness of the top, if I didn't sit/stand up straight it drooped a little more than I would have liked. Would absolutely rent this again though!

wore this to a midwest summer wedding - i put it on and didn't LOVE it, but got lots of compliments and thought it looked great in all our photos, so maybe i was just misguided initially. it was comfy (no bra required, though i did wear sticky covers for modesty), straps make it really adjustable but they did start to dig a bit as the night wore on, and it sat ok even on my very long waisted torso. i ended up wearing it with flats, but could have gone with my 3.5" heels if i'd wanted to thanks to the slight hi-lo hem - the back dragged just a tiny bit in flats, so i just held it up when i was dancing, but it was fine when walking around. definitely fitted in the waist - i could get the 2 on, but it didn't leave much room and i went with the 4 for comfort and length. i would recommend ordering based on your waist measurement as everything else is pretty adjustable or not fitted.

pretty, demure dress
great dress, but the waist hit me too high and it just didn't do much for me. the fabric is great - it's substantial but not stiff, no need for special undergarments and it was really comfortable. I'm very long waisted and it just hit me too high on my ribcage, which ended up making it less flattering. It was ok and I would have worn in a pinch, but I had a backup dress of my own that worked better for my event. wish it came in a tall cut!

LOVED this dress. I wore it to a loosely 20's inspired wedding with the Ben-Amun Dressed in White earrings and some silver bangles and it was perfect. I normally am a 4 in dresses, but went up to a M in this for the length. The S was just slightly tight across my bust and was way too short for comfort on me (but I am long waisted so this happens a lot) - I would suggest taller girls order a size up from normal as their backup in case they have the same issue. The color is stunning, the lace is beautiful and I felt really comfortable in it. It is a sheath dress, so the fit IS rather loose and straight, but I expected that and found it very flattering (as did my fiance!). Wish I owned it!

beautiful dress, but not for me
the dress is gorgeous, but just didn't fit right for me - i have a long waist so the waist of the dress just hit me too high and instead of flattering my curves, sort of flattened me out all around. it was also a bit shorter than i was comfortable with for a wedding - i went with a size larger just for the length and it still didn't feel 100% comfortable for the setting although it would have been fine for a night out. Exactly what I was afraid of, but the dress was too pretty not to try! Oh well... I would also recommend those with a smaller bust consider a sticky bra just for shape - I found the dress (nice thick fabric) flattened me out without one, but I didn't feel I needed it for support necessarily.
