Hi I wasn't sure about wearing sparkly earrings for a job fair but the simple design and colored stones (yes they are bluish not clear diamond) made it just understated enough while still pretty and eye-catching. I wore it with color block sheath.

I'm 40 plus with an apple shape and short. not easy to dress and I wanted to look good for a job fair without looking like a frumpy fireplug. This dress is really great and forgiving. It drapes across the bulges and the diagonal lines flatter and draw the eyes away from problem areas. I think tights and Boots really pulled it together so that it wasn't too dumpy. I think if I had worn it with hose and pumps it might be a bit Dowdy. But this is a very nice for someone who doesn't want to show too much flesh and still look pulled together.

Really nice choice for a summer wedding in Florida. I love the layers and colors and it was very comfortable. I am pear shaped so I had a little bit of a mismatch with the top fitting and the bottom somewhat tight but the layers conceal that. One problem is the silky tap shorts that are sewn in to wear underneath, since the skirt is see-through-ish. The shorts snap in the crotch (which is nice when you have to use the loo) but the snaps kept coming undone, probably because they were too small for me. So consider your butt to bust ratio in this dress: if you have a bigger lower half, size up and figure out some way of pinning the top to fit your smaller upper half. I'm size 10 bottom (29 inch waist 38 inch hips), and size 6 top (34B).

I wore this for a wedding weekend in Florida that included the rehearsal dinner, wedding, and wedding reception. I wore this for the rehearsal dinner which was somewhat less formal held poolside. I just love the style of this dress. The flare skirt, vertical purple lines and notched V collar are super flattering. I'm short and a tad chubbier than I'd like to be but this is very forgiving. I wear a size 8 normally and wore a 6 here. Typical vanity sizing as with almost everything designer. The fabric is cotton--no stretch at all. I have a 34B chest and had plenty of room but you might want to size up for large chest (>C or D). Because of the cut of the dress, it shouldn't look too baggy from the waist down if you size up. The notch helps make room for the girls, but as I said, there's no give in the fabric. This was a no stress, feminine and flattering pick for me. My friend hates the style but that' is personal taste--she thinks it's too "hippie". I disagree but to each her own...

I am one of those accessory challenged women who manage to pull toegether a decent outfit and then ruin it by using a public radio totebag as a purse. I'm really bad at this stuff. But this clutch was lovely, a good size for a small wallet or changepurse and some lipstick, etc. Not too big not too small. It has a shoulder strap which is a must for me (clutches drive me crazy.I already have to figure out how to walk around with a drink, hors doeuvres, and a napkin. How can I fit the clutch too?). I really love the colors and the metallic motif which is eye catching but not too blingy.

I am between an 8 and 10--because of my big belly apple shape. The cut of this dress was great for that, although beware of the waist/sash--it's fitted and has no give. But it falls above the natural waist, empire-style which makes it good for hiding bellies. It was very nice for the event, kind of magical and shimmery feeling, long and elegant. The shorts underneath were tough to snap--felt like I had to be a contortionist :-) And they didn't stay snapped the whole time. I perhaps would recommend wearing blush or skin-colored tap pants of your own underneath. It was very comfortable, could fit a range of bust sizes (not *super* big though, because it doesn't stretch, but it is loosely draped on top), and comfortable to dance in and eat in. I really liked it. Also I'm 5'2 so if you are tall it might be too short for you. My heels were only about 3" and it was just right for me.

What a gorgeous cuff! It was perfect for new years and must be small if it fit my tiny wrists

This is the kind of form fitting dress I normally wouldn't try but it looked pretty good! It is reasonably flattering due to the ruching but was not able to hide my apple shape/belly. For that reason I probably should have gotten something A-line. Still, I got compliments, it made a very sexy hourglass shape, and felt very festive and high class. I have smallish bust (34B) and so more buxom women should expect a fair show of cleavage. It's flattering for pear shapes--the neckline balances out the hips and you end up looking vavoom but not trashy. WARNING the sequins under the arms left my upper arms raw and painful. i'm not sure how to deal with that.
