I did not wear the dress although it is stunning and I may rent it for another event.
The skirt is HUGE. I opted for my back up dress and did not wear this for my sons wedding. It is a beautiful dress and if you have a party event where you can embrace to "poof" of the skirt; GO FOR IT!!

Elegant and perfect for a formal event!
I have never received more compliments!!! This dress is extremely well made and beautiful. The fabric is sturdy and doesn't lose its shape. Like other reviewers said, it is more blue than blue/black. I am 5'4" and the length was just at my knee. I was super comfortable and wore a strapless bra with it. If you are considering this dress for a formal event- you won't be disappointed. It surpassed my expectations!!! (This was my back up dress and I had a wonderful experience- will rent again!)
