this is a perfect shift shape--no spanx required! the back is cut quite low, but i think you could wear a pretty bandeau if you were worried about your bra peeking out (mine didn't). so comfortable, and the simple silhouette allowed for fun, spark earrings or colored shoes--i went with the former. i hated to send this back.
