Beautiful but I didn't think my undergarment game through
The dress was beautiful. It fit at the waist but was a little loose around my shoulders. I purchased some inexpensive fashion tape and a backless bra from Amazon but couldn't get it all to sit correctly in time for the wedding. Would rent again for an occasion where I would have more time to troubleshoot my undergarment situation.

Bigger than expected
Super casual tuxedo jogger pants in a breezy synthetic blend. Would have loved if I'd had a better size. I thought they might be too big but wasn't sure but they quickly started sagging when I wore them out. Would try again in a smaller size!

Perfect winter special occasion evening dress
Fit was excellent. I have a thicker waist and this fit perfectly (dress snaps shut and has a self belt). It might be a little roomier for someone more petite but the belt would certainly help. The fabric is gauzy with some drape and a little sheen and it's a deep peacock blue. I absolutely loved it. I wore it with white high top chuck Taylor's to dress it down but it also looked great with dressier shoes.

Sleeve detail bothered me - went with my second dress instead.
Got this as my backup dress to wear to my boyfriend's sister's wedding. I liked it but the sleeve detail bothered me - it's hard to see in the picture but they're sewn liked ruched cuffs. I usually bunch up longer sleeves that way, but having them sewn in place bugged me. I went with my primary dress instead.

Great, easy wear. A bit short.
Wore this to my boyfriend's sister's wedding. Cons - a tad short, I didn't put my arms above my head while I danced that night. Pros - I love the half sleeves, and they have a cute fringe/raw lace detail. I wore in with black suede t-strap platform heels, a french twist, and a cat eye and got lots of compliments. It was a great, easy wear.

Now I want to buy this dress!
The scalloping detail is great extra texture on an otherwise straightforward little black dress. The material is quite thick which gave the dress nice structure. I'm a 34D, so sometimes shift dresses can make me look like a tent but the thicker material and fitting of the dress at the waist made me look and feel fantastic. The dress is on the shorter side, but didn't ride up while I was dancing. I wish I still lived in New York so I could come to the sample sale and buy this dress!
