Hmm... a front belly ruffle
Not sure what to think of this one. Top is cute with the cut-outs, but there's also a belly ruffle situation that seems both unnecessary and maybe cute? Also a leg slit, which I thought was fine/work appropriate. Did not hate but did not love.

Weird and Unflattering Fit, Did Not Wear
I don't know what was going on with this dress; it made me look very wide across my midsection and then had a lot of fabric in the front b/c, rather than a try wrap, the top of the dress was to be secured with a button.

LOVED, but runs small
Very tights around the rib cage, the the point where the hook-and-eye closure would come undone when I sat down. Still loved the dress and got tons of compliments, but it wasn't comfortable or at all practical.

I love this designer, but hated this dress. Baggy fit plus pleats made me look pregnant. Unflattering colors. Wore this on a day I thought no one would be in the office because I didn't want to be seen in it. Skip this one.

I got multiple compliments on this when I wrote it too work, but felt a bit like Cressida Cowper with the sleeves. This was one of the few wrap dresses that didn't gap in the front for me when tied, but the trade-off was the dress has quite a bit of fabric. It fits slightly large, although not so large that I felt like I should have sized down.

Awful
First, this dress is difficult to get on; I kept getting the sleeves and built-in slip tangled. Second, I did not find it flattering. The puffy sleeves accented my shoulders/made them broader and then the skirt was too narrow to compensate. I think someone with a very narrow waist would fare better. I almost NEVER end-up not wearing a RTR item at least once but I just couldn't with this one.

I did not find this dress flattering at all; when I wore it I thought I looked like I'd gained 10 lbs overnight. The empire waist with gathering detail did not help. The fabric was nice, however, and it fit tts.

I got a billion compliments on this skirt (wore it for Valentine's day pared with a pink sweater). I sized up but it was still tight, necessitating wearing it higher up on my waist that I would have liked. But it still looked cute and I loved the way it moved. Would rent again (in a bigger size)!

This is the second time I've rented this dress (a rarity for me) and I just LOVE it. It is so flattering and slimming on, and makes a statement while also being conservative. I wore this dress to a work conference, but it would also be appropriate at a more fun social event.

Easter 1958 Vibes
I really wanted to love this but it was just ok. I wore it to work but felt like it could be better suited for Easter... in the 1950s. Which is not necessarily a bad thing, just not what I was going for. I have an average length torso and I might have liked it better had I a longer torso like the model. I'd still recommend renting this (I LOVE Shoshanna) but temper your expectations.

Obsessed with this dress!
I rented this dress for my firm's holiday party and it was perfect - sexy without being revealing. The color was beautiful and definitely striking in a sea of black. I received non-stop compliments all night. I honestly stayed out longer than I'd planned just to keep wearing the dress! The size 6 - which is my usual size - fit like a glove. There's an interior corset-like thing that gives the dress structure and helps it stay in place, even while dancing. The corest-thing wasn't super tight, but obviates the need for shapewear; I just wore a strapless bra underneath (I'm a 36B), some people may be comfortable braless.

Based on other reviews, I was worried that the lace on the dress might be damaged - imagine my surprise when the dress arrived NWT (new with tags)! RTR definitely knows their business and does it right. This was the perfect dress for an early Spring wedding in New Orleans; sexy (backless), yet sophisticated (sleeves, to-the-knee). I received compliments all night, the best being: "Wow, you look like Kate Middleton." The dress runs true-to-size to slightly large (my back-up size was an 8, but I would have liked to have tried on the 4).

Great for Shower
I wore this dress to my friend's baby shower and received a number of complements. The dress fit true to size and was not as short on as it appears on the model. My only complaint was that some of the lace along the neckline was slightly torn, although not enough to be noticeable unless you were looking closely.

Sophisticated/classy dress
A sophisticated, classy choice for a wedding. The dress is sexy without being overtly so; the length (to my knees) compensates for the fact that it is form-fitting. I usually do not like strapless dresses but this one fit great. I was told by a random wedding guest that I "definitely had the best dress" at the wedding (aside from the bride, I'm sure!). I have a fairly broad back (36B) so I was glad that I ordered an 8 as my back-up size. The 6 fit, but was a bit too snug to be comfortable for the entire evening.
