Frumpy on me
I paired it with a purple tshirt (that matched the pattern) and my husband asked if we were going to an old timey Western cowgirl party… so I went back and changed. 😂 The skirt was too frumpy on my short frame. Maybe should have sized down.

There is a lot going on here… in a good way!
Puffy sleeves, sheer fabric over silky liner, rufflely flair on the bottom, belt… that sounds like a lot, but somehow it works! This has a LOT of personality for a little black dress. I wore it with professional heels for a work presentation and also dressed it up with fun accessories for a party. Lots of compliments at both! Will rent again!

The color is so beautiful! I also thought the cut was very flattering. I sized up because usually need the extra space in the thighs for a button down dress, but could have stayed with a 12. Loved this dress and will rent again!

The straps were way long for a shoe person. We were able to tie a string around the back and make it work. V neck was a little low for my normal style, but overall a very pretty dress.

There’s a lot going on with these.
There was too much going on with these- velvet, then an athletic stripe down the side and some kind of seam detail in the middle. Felt too sporty for a sweater and too formal for errands or hanging out. Could just be me not knowing how to style them though!! Didn’t end up wearing.

Flirty and fun
Love the shape of this dress and feel like it was super flattering on an hourglass figure. I styled it with cowgirl boots and a jean jacket for Nashville. Tons of compliments and felt so cute! A couple notes: the straps were too long. So I actually had to use a ribbon and tie across the top of the back connected by the bra strap holder things under the sleeves. Also, you can't wear a normal bra (bc of the low V in the back), so I had to wear a sticky bra without a back. Plan accordingly!

So pretty!
I rented this one for work, but I ended up liking it so much that I wore it for a rehearsal dinner that weekend. The color is more coral than you might think from the picture (you can see a different coral dress in my picture for comparison). Also, it does show a little cleavage. So, if you are busty, you might like it better for an event than for a work function. I am short and this hits below the knee for me. If I kept it, I would have had it hemmed for the perfect fit. Overall, beautiful!
