GORGEOUS but TINY, woah.
Usually a 6, sometimes an 8, and the size 8 was too tight to zip over my hips! It is even a little small up top. Would go +2 sizes up from usual size if you’re pear-shaped.

Vibrant, fun and formal!
One of my favorite things I have ever worn! I loved this ruffley sweet and sexy dress. Pro-tip: when lacing up the back, don’t start from the top-most loops! Start 3 down from the top and you’ll probably be good to lace through the bottom loops. Short enough for 5’4” human to wear with flats for dancing. Can’t recommend enough!

Cute pattern without being juvenile! Nice textured fabric. A little short but cute with tights. The bubble sleeves are about elbow length and the elastic isn’t too tight. The waist fits true to size, or just a little snug. Very fun with a leather cropped jacket!

Gorgeous color and drape, tight in ribs
This dress fit great and was a fun twist on a high-low hemline (longer on right side). The color/pattern is vibrant and pretty, and the fabric is flowy and nice. Only downside was the rib cage/upper waist was a little tight. I’m 34B and usually a 2-4 in tops, but the size 4 was just a smidge tight in the ribs.

Love this dress! Nice rich teal, swingy, pockets!
Terrific dress for summer office work and date night alike! Very comfortable, nice fabric, great dark teal-green color. The neck is nice - high in the back (like a mock neck, which helped warm me against summer office A/C!). The elastic waistband can twist a little, but is easy to adjust. Great pockets that aren’t bulky/visible. Solid rental - I want to get it again in winter to wear with tights and a cardigan! Fully A-line so I’d rent to fit chest/waist (size Small was perfect for 34B/small size top).

Arms too tight, bust too big/low cut
This dress must be designed for someone with very slim arms but a full chest? The short sleeves were restrictively tight around my biceps (not huge?) and the chest was a little big AND low-cut (tough combination, because it made fashion tape hard to use). I needed to wear a stick-on bra to fill out the cups but then it was hard to keep the fabric in place with tape/not exposing the sticky bra. Nice pattern but not a great-feeling or fitting dress.

Bought it for a bridesmaid dress - comfy/flowy!
I was thrilled to find and buy this as a really nice bridesmaid’s dress at a super deep discount. It needed no alterations (!), not even hemming (length was okay for 5’4” wearing moderate heels). The tie in the back is a nice detail. The halter neck is a little adjustable in front (can be more square neck or keyhole). Overall a nice dress!

Received this dress as a replacement when a rental I booked months in advance was damaged and couldn’t be sent. Didn’t love it - a size 6R was too big for me (size 4 on top, size 6 on bottom). Even with the belted waist, I was swimming in heavy, curtain-like fabric. The belt was also weirdly short and I couldn’t figure out a pretty way to tie it. The navy pattern was nice, but overall this dress was just not what I was looking for, and I wouldn’t rent again, even in a correct size.

Not my usual vibe at all, but loved the periwinkle shade of tie-dye and it is the perfect length crop, even on a long torso! Very fun for casual wear or working out/taking dance classes in. High quality for the price. It’s more of a terrycloth/knit (heavy tee) - not really a fleece or sweatshirt material.

Ruffles a little off. Great as a skirt!
I planned to wear this for some semi-formal events (rehearsal dinner, etc) but didn’t love the way the top fit. The bust fit okay but the feathery fabric ruffles that ran along the seams down the front of the bust and waist made me look “fluffy”/bigger. I also didn’t think the spaghetti straps and neckline were super flattering when the straps were sufficiently tightened to make the top fit. The size 4 was a little tight in the hips for me (usually a size 6) so I’d say this is more of a sheath and less of an A-line. If you’re a pear, it may be tough to fit both hips and bust nicely in this. Ended up layering a cropped sweater over it for work and really loved it that way!

I’m a size 2-4 bust/waist and size 6 hips, and the size 4 of this was a smidge too-tight over my hips, while being a little too big on top. The long straps hanging in the back are fun but note the straps are NOT adjustable. It would have fit better on top of they were. A little long on me, but I am 5’4” with short legs. I loved the cut of the neckline and the color of the pattern! Worked equally well for a rehearsal dinner and a fancy baby shower.

Flattering - not too full! Fun to dress up/down
I love this skirt! I have a small waist (size 2-4) and full hips (size 6) and the Small fit perfectly. The skirt isn’t too full (still slimming) and looks equally nice with sandals/chunky heels and white sneakers. I was surprised by the shiny threads in the elastic waistband! A fun touch, though I did feel it made the skirt a little less dressy/office-appropriate. Would totally keep if it wasn’t over $300 to do so! Will certainly rent again, maybe in fall to wear with slim-fit turtlenecks.

Cute, wraps nicely - too low-cut for work
Cute silhouette and flattering v-neck on this wrap. It stayed wrapped well and didn’t leave me exposed if it blew open a little. I love Draper James, but this wasn’t quite as high-quality as some of their other dresses - it’s more of a cotton print dress. The v-neck looked great with my relatively small chest, but was just a hair too low for work in the office. Probably wouldn’t rent again - cute but not as nice or exciting as other options!

Subtly retro and cute - add a belt!
This dress is a lovely light material but feels luxe. The length is perfect for work but can transition to dinner/happy hour. Also wore to a family graduation. The pattern is a pretty blue - almost lavender - and I got a lot of compliments on it. I only wore it with a belt because I don’t like a non-fitted waist, and it looked great. I may be keeping this one forever, as I love the versatility and the quality for the price!

Terrible fit, flappy sleeve cuffs
Didn’t wear - this blouse was a hot mess. The structure is very confusing - it was huge in most places, but almost bubble-hem at the waist. The neck tie doesn’t actually fasten in the back and is too short/stiff/wide to knot in a cute way back there. Worst of all are the sleeves - the slit goes almost to the elbow so they flap around and are too big to be cuffed. No idea what’s going on here, but would not recommend.

Perfect baby shower/ladies day spring dress!
This was a replacement dress for a formal event - and while it wasn’t formal enough for the big event, I was able to wear it to a baby shower/luncheon. It fit beautifully and was a pretty length paired with heels. The bow in back is so cute but *have 2 safety pins ready* to keep it perky!

Straps too wide/fall down
I only received my backup size (XSP) as my regular size (SR) was damaged and therefore not sent. The Small would have been a much better fit (XSP was a real squeeze for a 34B and size 4 waist, and I could barely breathe). Even in the too-small dress, the shoulder straps are very wide set and want to slip down constantly. Not sure if it’s stretched or naturally that way. The darting/fabric on the chest was a little less smooth than expected, but not too noticeable. Very pretty dress, but maybe not worth the $100 rental price tag.

Size 38 fit great - I’m a size 4 waist and size 6 hips! I love the silky fabric and the fun navy-red print. Looks great with a tucked-in shirt (has a little room to tuck, but a longer shirt/heavy fabric might be tricky). Would also be cute with tights but navy in the pattern could make it a little trickier.
