This dress is a lovely light material but feels luxe. The length is perfect for work but can transition to dinner/happy hour. Also wore to a family graduation. The pattern is a pretty blue - almost lavender - and I got a lot of compliments on it. I only wore it with a belt because I don’t like a non-fitted waist, and it looked great. I may be keeping this one forever, as I love the versatility and the quality for the price!

Like the look, fabric and pattern. Added a camisole for modesty. Good for work at my preppy-casual office.

I LOVED this dress, almost bought it! I got so many compliments. A little tight under the arms and slightly lower cut than I would have liked. Otherwise a perfect fit!

I originally passed on hearting this dress (even though I love Derek Lam) because I wasn't sure about the pattern.  But I tried on the dress at a RtR store and loved it!  The fabric is soft and beautiful,  and the cut is really nice, slightly tapered at the waist.  The neckline was low for work so I added a camisole.

I wore this in the winter, but it’s probably more of a spring dress. For winter, it can be paired with dark stockings and booties. The V comes down far and I used a camisole to avoid cleavage. The dress is unlined and thin polyester.

I am between a 4/6 and the 4 was slightly snug in the bust. 

I got several compliments on this dress.  It was very comfortable but slightly busty for the office 

The dress is beautiful, but it runs quite large. When I saw pictures of myself I felt like it made me look 2 sizes larger. It would be perfect with a belt. 

Pretty comfortable but I got sweaty in the material.  

Pretty and conservative dress - well, conservative since the one I received was already pinned at the bust. Light and airy material is nice for summer. I'm between 48 and 46 in Italian sizing but this one is cut so roomy I would've gone with the 44. Wish it had pockets!

I’ve worn another Derek Lam dress in this style and loved it, but this one was cut differently. The neckline was too low for work such that I had to pin it, and the dress cut from the waist line made me look fat.

The dress easily fit a five month bump due to a perfect and flattering cut. I would wear this non maternity as well I loved it so much! 

I really enjoyed this dress for a quick/easy option for work. It's pretty light weight but not see through at all. 

I wore a tank under, but I didn't really NEED to. If I wore to a baby shower or bridal shower I would have worn without. 

Nice lightweight dress, very comfortable. It wasn't super flattering to my waist straight on, but I really like the print and got compliments all day so it was still great to wear. 

Love this dress, very comfy. Probably could have sized down a bit. Colors are great.

This was one of my favorite dresses I've rented from RTR. It complimented my athletic figure very well and I got many compliments! 10 out of 10 recommend!!

Fits true to size. Yes, it fits very loose but I didn't find it unflattering. I found the chest/arms area a little tight but not enough so that I would've gone up a size. Received lots of compliments at work but would also be great for a dressier daytime event.

This is a very easy dress for a summer workday. Lightweight fabric but not sheer, well-cut, can throw it on and go. Fabric is vibrant. May be tight on the chest for a very large bust but was perfect for a medium sized chest.

There was no way you could wear this with out covering the deep V. Dress was otherwise great. 

The dress fit pretty well but wasn't terribly flattering without a belt. This one might not be best for bigger busted girls, but it was alright for work. I actually wore it to a dentist appt that ended up taking way longer than I thought it would and the back of the dress didn't wrinkle from the chair at all! Was pleasantly surprised by that. Overall, good work rental but not my favorite dress ever. 

I was a little skeptical about this dress at first. It fit totally fine but the material is a little off. Swishy like a raincoat kind of. Not that extreme but close. And I thought maybe I looked like a grandma. But I got so many compliments on this, for both male and remain coworkers. It was very professional and super comfy. 

Loved this dress! Very comfortable - lightweight, material was breathable. Needs a belt to add definition to the waist.

Gorgeous colors on the dress. It's so light and airy. The dress does flow with a bit of extra fabric from the waist down that can tend to make your hips look a bit larger, but would be very flattering on a true pear shape. The arms run a touch small. Overall, very flattering.

This dress was super lightweight, yet not see through and extremely comfortable. It was very roomy without being frumpy. I wore it twice to work and once to church. The upper bodice was a bit different in fit, but not anything that would make you not wear it.

I loved the pattern and colors of the dress, but it just fit oddly in the chest. I did get a few compliments, so could work on someone with a smaller chest. 

While this dress is work appropriate it was not my style. I also can't tell if it's supposed to be so large but i felt like I was swimming in it . The material was also alittle odd and not very breathable.

Work this to the office several times and received many compliments.

I had to pin the neckline because it’s too deep for work or for cleavage. But this is a darling dress. Fits beautifully and hides some things. 

Wore to a night out.  Dinner and music.  I could have sized down as I pulled over my head and found out later it had a side zip.  Would have been more flattering if I had the smaller size

Sorry no photo.  Im 5’8 and 165 lbs with a bit of a muffin top.  This dress hid my flaws really well and was flirty and fun.  Some people had difficulty with it being too low cut but that wasnt a problem for me.  I have slightly broad shoulders so that might have made a difference.  Thinking about buying it!

I liked it so much I bought it. It has nice movement. Lovely high quality fabric 

Wore this one to work and really liked it. I wore an under shirt because it was a little low cut for work, but besides that it fit great. It feel like it's a weird cut, but in reality it hits at all the right spots and then flares out. I liked it a lot and would rent again.

Love this dress. Super easy to wear. Paired with navy booties and it was so cute for work and dinner. 

It kind of needs a belt to cinch better at the waist and I feel like it has a clingy feel to it but I really like the color/print.  Definitely recommended.

Listen, I'm not even close to "bathing suit" ready and I was worried that this would fit like a tent.  It doesn't!  It's adorable.  and so incredibly comfortable, too.  I've worn the heck out of it -- to brunch, to dinner, to work.

This dress had been sitting on one of my shortlists for a long time and, little did I know, it turns out that this is the perfect dress. The print is rich and beautiful and the cut is perfect. The neckline isn't too low and the hem hits right at the knee. It isn't clingy. I contemplated keeping it for another month but opted to send it back and rent another version of this dress in a different print!

I have liked all of the Derek Lam pieces I have worn. This cut in particular. It camouflages midsections. It light with nice movement.
