I rented this dress for a formal wedding in Florida over Memorial Day Weekend. I'm 5'9", 135 lbs and the 6L would have probably been the ideal size but they didn't have it in stock so I went for a 6R and an 8L and hoped for the best. The 6R fit fine in the neck area and under the arms but I couldn't fill out the bust. I'm a 36A so backless dresses are my friend but volume can be an issue and had I worn this size I would have definitely had to pin it. Overall the 6R dress was just too short; also the waistband was tight, it was constricting to take a big breath and very difficult to zip. The 8L was great in overall length and the neck fit fine but it was way too big under the arms and in the chest. It was also difficult to zip even though the fit in the waist was much better. Only an aggressive amount of pinning would have made the 8L dress work and I would have attempted it since the print is GORGEOUS in person but unfortunately one of the straps was ripped beyond safety-pin repair. I ended up having to go out and buy something else last minute but the RTR team members I spoke with were amazing, they made the entire process as seamless as possible and were very accommodating. I'll definitely be renting again for my next formal affair. (A few extra notes: The fabric on this dress is fairly thick and there is a liner on the inside so I wouldn't recommend for a summer wedding with an outdoor reception - although if you're headed to an event with AC you should be fine. I also added photos of the back of both the 6R and the 8L for those of you debating between regular and long so you can see the difference. The front-facing photo is of the 8L but both sizes hit in pretty much the same place.)

I rented these to go with a dress for my friend's wedding and they are absolutely stunning. The overall size is very similar to the photo shown, however FYI - the back side of the white portion of the earrings is black. Something to note in case the added color clashes with the rest of your outfit.

I rented this dress for a friend's wedding and absolutely loved it! I was a little nervous about the length (I'm usually a 6 or a 4) so I rented a 6L and an 8L to make sure it would hit the ground and the 6L worked just fine. The dress runs a little big, the 4L would have a been better fit but a combination of the boning built into the dress plus a strapless bra did the trick; I was able to dance all night without worrying about it slipping down. The color is gorgeous and I got so many compliments, I definitely recommend!!!!

This dress is stunning in person and fit like a glove however I'm 5'9" and the dress was a good 6 inches too short for me to pull off. Because it does not come with an optional long size if you're on the tall side and generally require a longer fit I'd recommend renting something else.

I absolutely LOVED this dress. On the hanger its beautiful, when you put it on its GORGEOUS. I ordered it in a 4 and a 6 and the 4 fit like a glove. The sleeves sit a bit higher than a traditional cap sleeve but that is just the cut of the dress. The detailing is exquisite and I received countless compliments. Someone mentioned below that because it isn't spandex the dress is loose however even when I tried on the 6 which was a bit big on me it still hit in all the right places and wasn't baggy at all. I'm pretty tall but the dress didn't ride up and I never felt like it was too short. Simply put this dress is FANTASTIC, one of the prettiest things I've worn in a long time.
