Standout in this yellow stunner!
This dress was gorgeous - the fabric and color were so unique and I got a ton of compliments. Be forewarned, the inner lining is short and tight, so there were a few times when i was sitting down that I was worried about exposing myself... I don't think anyone could actually see / tell though :)

This dress was great - from the thick fabric to the dropped waist, it was incredibly flattering and a fun take on what could have been a basic dress. If I were taller, I would have been concerned about the length, but my policy is that if its not tight or low-cut, then a little leg is a-okay :)

Dress is easy and versatile!
First off, I did not have an issue with he dress being too sheer. I had fully prepared myself with leggings, but didn't end up needing them. This was easy to dress up or down, and I loved how the sheer overlay on the top kept it from being just a run-of-the-mill plain black dress!

Dress seemed worn - didn't love it.
The color / fit of this dress was great. It seemed worn and stretched out, especially around the neck. The ruffle sleeves were shapeless, so they just looked stretched out, not flounced like the bottom. This hit me around ankle length, which worked because of the tight fit of the dress. Warning: it's thinner / tighter than I expected (although not uncomfortably so), so it shows every bump, curve, and line!

This top is exactly what you would expect. I didn't have the same armhole issue noted in another review. I work with high-waisted pants and a blazer and it got me through the day!

Slow burn - ultimately loved it!
When I first put this on, I was really unsure how to style - the top is bigger and less shapely than I would normally wear. However, after seeing the full-body result, styled with brown booties and gold hoop earrings, I was pleased! The mermaid style is really beautiful. Basically, this looks exactly like you would expect in the picture.

Loved this - wore it three times in one weekend!
This dress was breezy and easy. I wore it once to work with heels, the next day with booties and a leather jacket for dinner, and the following day with a jean jacket and more casual booties. It was so versatile and I loved it more than I would have thought! For being loose, it wasn't shapeless. The hem and sleeve ruffles really gave it that extra umph.

So nice, I rented this twice!
I wore this exquisite dress on my first day at a new job and for a big meeting. The fabric hugs you hips, be warned. The shell on top is loose which makes it a less mermaid-body-con. I can't rave enough about this dress!

Is this my favorite thing I've rented in the past three years? Maybe!
The fit of this jumpsuit is AMAZING, and I've worn a lot of jump suits in my day. The shoulders were perfectly structured. The zipper made the front v optional. There was just enough space in the hips to be flattering and not too tight. The sleeves cut directly above the elbow, which I think it universally flattering. Heads up - it was more purple and less burgundy than I expected!

More cropped than picture
There was nothing particularly wrong with this sweater, but it was a strange shape in the underarm area. It was much more cropped than the picture, even with high-waisted jeans. It wasn't itchy, which I was worried about!

Beautiful structure, poor fit
I wore this dress for Christmas Eve service because... duh! The dress is beautiful in concept, but fit poorly. It was at least a size too large, and the shoulders sat much more broad than most Kate Spade items that I've worn in the past. Pockets were a nice detail, length worked well on me.

Great way to spice up a plain jeans outfit!
I loved this sweater - it looked great with both jeans and leggins. I wore it once with a black turtleneck and once with a long-sleeved white shirt. Your sleeves will show, and you can see the shirt that is worn underneath. I felt really chic while still being comfortable!

Great work dress - but short!
Loved the fit and pattern - it was a little less shapely than expected but it worked because it was so short. That being said, it was pretty short and in the realm of not being appropriate for work, even on my 5'1'' frame. Would look great with tights!

Great color - easy to dress up or down!
I wore this to work with a black turtleneck underneath because of the chilly weather. I got tons of compliments, especially on the unique structure of the legs. Because I'm short, this was full length but thought it looked totally normal with low ankle booties. I would definitely wear this again.

Dress up or down, this silk top was a winner.
I wore this top for a date night out with jeans and a leather jacket, then again with a jean jacket and leggings. The draping and cut of the arms were very flattering (better than expected). I had no problems with undergarments - a strapless bra worked for me!

Incredibly flattering!
I wore this dress to a wedding for which I was unsure of the attire (i.e. groomsmen were in tuxes, but not a full black tie affair). The cut of the shoulders/length were appropriate and flattering. The pockets were a nice touch as well!

Overall, I really wanted to love this dress. It was a flattering shape/color/pattern. The material was a different finish than I expected (i.e. shiny, as opposed to matte in the pictures). The torso was long, and the cut made it difficult to find proper undergarments.
