This was a really perfect day to night dress and worked well with leggings for a windy Bay Area evening. Dress is very form fitting and the Medium definitely fit like a Small. Shapewear would probably be a good choice (I didn't have any and was sucking in my stomach a bit at times). Size up for a looser fit for sure. The cold shoulder look and army green color were hits and I received a few compliments which is odd because the dress is pretty simple looking. Very comfortable and can be dressed up or down.

I ADORE the look of rompers, but sadly, due to my long torso and legs, I can rarely pull them off. At best, when I wear rompers it looks slightly awkward. At worst, there is some serious cameltoe action going on and my other tall (5'9" and above) friends have shared that same concern when searching for the perfect romper. I ordered a "tall" Jay Godfrey romper a couple months back and it was disastrous (I'll spare you the gory details). This romper, however, was divine. It's airy and the pattern is quite interesting. And there was no cameltoe issue to speak of thank GOD. I wore this on vacation with my husband and got a number of compliments on the one day I wore it. The one issue is that the sleeves have these ties to create a rousching effect, which is fine, but they kept coming untied and the metal beads at the end kept hitting stuff (the glass table, my wine glass - really just anything that could make noise and be uncomfortable). Aside from that, it was excellent.

This dress was really wonderful, despite the fact that it arrived damaged. I was traveling overseas before I realized the damage in the dress (they can't send back-up dresses overseas just FYI - I didn't anticipate this being a problem, but probably should have checked the dress more thoroughly before flying out). In any event, the dress itself breathes very well and is perfect for a warm summer evening. I wore this to a semi formal restaurant and then at a rooftop bar and it was quite appropriate for both. I wish the slit up the side had been a bit longer - the length is slightly awkward (that - and the damage - are literally my only complaints).

This was the BEST day to night casual dress for a chilly summer day/evening in New Zealand. During the day, I work it with sandals actually and it didn't look as odd as that sounds. At night (my favorite look for this dress), I wore black tights, black suede booties, and a large chunky pendant necklace. It's strange to get compliments on such a simple dress, but I did get a number of compliments that night. It's also ridiculously soft and comfortable and the extra fabric in the mid-section is not awkward at all. Highly recommend.

I didn't wear this dress as it was a back up from RTR and the one I ordered for the wedding (also Reem Acra) was perfection, but this dress was beautiful and I would definitely rent it for another formal event. It's probably not appropriate for a wedding unless you're the bride (the shade of ivory basically exactly matched the color of the brides dress, so I was very happy the other Reem Acra dress worked out - check out this dress in the yellow shade - heavenly). But this dress would be perfect for another formal affair.

I went back and forth on whether to rent this dress or a slightly more conservative yellow dress for our friends' wedding on Cape Cod. I ultimately chose this dress after reading other reviews that said the dress works well with some fashion tape and as long as you're not larger chested. I'm a 34b as a reference and did not feel at any point in the night as though the dress was too provocative, nor did the dress physically feel uncomfortable (i.e., I was not constantly pulling it up). The dress photographs beautifully and was a dream to wear. I wish I owned this stunned. Would hands down rent from this designer again.

Everything that could be bad about a dress was bad here. The fit was awful (very tight in the shoulders and ill fitting at the bodice), the material was incredibly cheap (lining was stiff satin-like material - felt almost plastic), and the quality of the lace was pathetic (fraying and terrible quality). The dress arrived late, so I had no other option but to wear it; luckily the wedding I attended was late in the evening and the venue was dark. Would definitely not recommend this dress.

This dress was the exact combination of timeless elegance without being overly formal for a dear friend's garden wedding. The theme of the wedding was essentially garden party chic and this dress really fit the bill. It was a warm day in late April in northern NJ, so it was slightly humid. The dress is lined, no bra needed, and it was very lightweight and breathable. The length was a bit long, but I also didn't wear heels as the wedding was primarily on a grassy lawn. Overall, incredibly happy with this RTR find. I received many compliments and questions of "where did you get that dress?" all day and into the night.

Great statement earrings for a beach wedding. No need to wear any other jewelry with these as they're quite stunning on their own. The earrings are quite large, but are very lightweight. Normally after wearing large earrings for an extended period of time, I would feel the need to take them off, but not with these. Very lovely earrings. Rent the Runway service was excellent as usual.
