I so wanted to love this dress. However, the fit was just too off. It was very big in the bust area. I have bigger thighs and a butt so things tend to be on the tighter side, but this dress was just weird. It was also big in the stomach area. 

I loved this dress! I used fashion tape to tape up the front of the dress like a lot of the other reviewers suggested, and I'm glad I did. Other than that it was perfect. I got so many compliments and it was perfect for my bridal shower. 

This was my first experience with rent the runway and I loved it. I rented this dress for my rehearsal dinner and loved it. I did not want to send it back! I am usually a pretty true 6, but the 4 in this was still even a little big on me. It is a good length, especially for a church wedding. The front lace pieces fit a little weird on me (not sure if it was because it was too big), but i tucked them in and no one noticed.

This is the second time I've rented this dress and it did not disappoint. I'm pear shaped so the top was a little loose while the bottom fit perfectly but it wasn't too bad. The dress has a little give so if you're worried about sizing it's pretty forgiving. The lace at the top is pretty floppy (as others reviewers have noted) but I managed to get through the night without double sided tape. Sexy and class at the same time. Love this dress!

Love RTR, I am never disappointed. I liked this dress - but did not love it. It is true to size. Just a little tough with the zipper. Also the lace doesn't lay flat in the front causing it to flap around more than I would have liked. Fit well and still received many compliments !

Lace made it a classic, romantic and feminine feel. 

It fits like a glove.  Formfitting but not too tight.  The only con to the dress is the lace at the bust line, it is kinda floppy but double sided tape helps.

Wore this to a sit-down luncheon bridal shower. Wore size 6, I am 5'9" and 155 lbs, this size was a little snug in the hips at first but the fabric relaxed over the course of the day. Perfectly comfortable. Lace cutouts were a little bit floppy, and did not always lie flat. I would rent this dress again!

The size 4 fit me like a glove even over my thighs, which is usually where a dress like this would run too tight.  The color is more beige than it looks in the official photo, which was a little bit of a disappointment, but the fit made up for it.  As recommended by others, I will use double sided tape to get  the lace details to lay correctly, and I might even buy some lace to cover up the lower part of the neckline, which is a little too revealing for a family bridal shower (at least my family bridal shower!)  

I wore this dress for my small wedding. My biggest hangup with this dress is that it is much darker than the photo...more of a beige color. Also, fashion tape is a necessity with this dress if you want the lace details on top to stay put. Other than the color being off, the dress/lace looked very nice in person and was super comfortable to wear all day!

I wore this dress for a bridal shower. It was perfect! I did have to use double-sided tape as recommended by the reviews to help the lace stay in place along the top. 

This dress is stunning!  The lace is beautiful and the fit was almost perfect!  It seemed to run a little larger in the bust for me, but nothing a little bit of fashion tape couldn't help.  It definitely helped keep lace in place while moving around.  This dress is absolutely gorgeous and I couldn't be happier I decided to choose to wear it for the shower!

I wore this gorgeous dress for my city hall wedding in San Francisco. I had a more formal dress for the formal ceremony that was taking place a week later, but still wanted to look and feel wonderful at city hall. Mission accomplished. This dress was incredible. Very comfortable too. Many many compliments all day long. 

I selected this dress to wear for my wedding, and the day before it was supposed to ship RTR said it was no longer available. After several moments of panic and some emails back and forth with the (outstanding) customer service team, I was sent this dress in the size smaller than I normally wear, plus two other back-up dresses. Phew! And there was really no need to panic, as this dress was PERFECT! Yes, it runs large. Yes, it's quite busty. Yes, it's the easiest, most comfortable, most flattering dress I've ever put on. I'd rate it 6/5 stars if I could. Thank you, RTR, for helping me have the most amazing wedding day ever! 

This was a beautiful dress, but beware!!  The "girls" are a little crammed into the top and want to keep making appearances.   I wear a 38D.  At 5'6 and 180 lbs, the dress was very comfortable otherwise.  I just had to make sure I was "tucked" in all evening even though I used fashion tape, etc.  As others have remarked, the lace at the top was very thin so the tape helped most of it stay in place.  The zipper is a little tricky but it worked.  I would not wear this dress again simply because the top part made me very self-conscious, but if you are smaller on top, it would work fine!  The material was beautiful.  I did get lots of compliments, but it was the "stares" that made me feel most uncomfortable!  

This dress is unbelievably comfortable, but has no structure so be prepared with the right underwear and bra!  This was a bit tight on the hips, but the size up didn't work a cleanly for the upper body and ended up a bit more loose than I had planned. Completely worth the wait and it's impossible not to feel beautiful in this dress. 

I thought this dress fit great. It was a little floppy on the boob part, but nothing a little booby/double sided tape wouldnt fix. Loved it all in all. Sorry the vertical picture the color is lighter than normal (my sister in law put her thumb over the lense lol) still like how the pic came out tho.  The horizontal photo is more true to color. Would def rent again, great for a wedding. 

Great dress and received so many compliments! I rented it for a daytime performance but decided instead to make it a Sunday brunch and opera matinée outfit. Very fitted in the waist and could use some tape up top, so be mindful when renting! Can't wait to wear it again. 

I really liked this dress and it was beautiful. It was a little tight in the bust area, but an unpadded bra worked well. The lace in the front neck line kept rolling up and the lace in the back did the same. Otherwise loved it very much, and felt beautiful in it. 

This dress is beautiful, longer than I thought, and very silky soft on the inside. It runs large, and I would have worn the 10 that was sent, but the lace on these dresses seem to be very flimsy. The lace on the 10 that was sent was barely attached to the dress at all, it seemed after so many cleanings it just falls apart. I was sad I couldn't wear the 10 for that reason, if I had worn the dress with the lace the way it was, it would have shown my bridal shower guests WAY more than they bargained for. Giving it 4 stars because of the lace issue, both dresses it was loose but it was almost nonexistent on the 10.

I rented this dress for my bridal shower and it was absolute perfection! It fit like a glove, and I felt beautiful in it :-) All you need is a strapless bra and a little fashion tape, and you're good to go!

I really like this dress! Pretty details. Definitely large on top, so shows the girls, and straps kept sliding off. But got a lot of compliments and overall really liked it! 

The fit on the top was a little large. I used fashion tape to keep everything in place. The length is absolutely perfect for a shower or tea party or something a little more conservative. I wish this dress fit me a little better on the top, but overall I loved it. I got plenty of compliments! My mom (to my left) also rented her dress from RTR. 

I really liked this dress, it was very flattering. I used some tape to keep the lace from popping up awkwardly in certain areas. Overall, comfortable, flattering, well made dress that was true to size.

The dress fits me perfectly and hits just below the knee for length. I highly recommend using double stick tape for the lace on the neckline in the front and on the back of the dress. Without tape, some of the lace pieces will droop down especially if you have a smaller bust. 

This dress was amazing! I got so many complements on it in the short amount of time I wore it for engagement pictures. It fit pretty perfectly! I'm normally a size 4-6 (Small/Medium), and I sized up in this dress so it would not be so tight in the bust. The straps were a little big, but the overall fit was great! I originally ordered a size 4 since the size 6 wasn't available. RTR was so accommodating and added the size 6 to my order when it became available! Loved everything about my rental! 

This dress was perfect for my cocktail bridal shower! And bonus, it was very comfortable! I am glad I read the reviews because you definitely need fashion tape and it does run a tad big. Make sure to bring that fashion tape to your venue!! I forgot to and ended up having a flappy neckline towards the end of the night, you can see it a bit in one of the pictures. I probably would have fit a bit better into the 6 (it was unavailable to ship), but the 8 was still ok. Overall, I would definitely recommend this dress!!

Rented this for formal family pictures.  Fit perfectly!  Plenty of room to move in my normally worn size 6.  Was worried the color would wash me out, but that wasn't the case.  My husband LOVED this.  Just the right amount of class & sexy.  You'll definitely need fashion tape for the fabric around the breast area to stay in place.  Would definitely rent again.

This was one of three dresses I was sent for my shower and I didn't end up wearing this one just because I liked another better (with long sleeves...better for the winter). I felt a little overly sexy in this dress (considering it was for a shower), but it was my fiancé' top pick and I may consider it again for a different event. Definitely need the fashion tape!

I rented this dress for my bridal tea and the look was perfect! I am on the bustier side so I did have to work some magic on the top to keep my cleavage under control (fashion tape and a clothes pin). I would say the chest runs small but the sleeves and waist run more true to size if not big. I am 5'3 but found the length to be a good conservative length. 

This dress was perfect! I read a lot of comments about the color being nude/beige but the dresses I received were more off-white/cream. It was perfect for a fall event when it was 90 degrees outside! I wore it to a military ball and it was perfect; modest but sexy. I wore off-white heels and simple jewelry. The dress was giving but not too stretchy and I didn't feel restricted even after eating a three course meal.  I wore the 2 but I usually wear size 4-6 so I put that it runs large. I'm 5'6'' and 140 lbs but I'm athletic with muscular shoulders and a bigger bum. The neckline was cut perfectly where it wasn't too unassuming but it didn't go too deep. The neckline and the back have little lace flaps that fall forward so I absolutely recommend using fashion tape to keep them down. I wore a regular bra with no problems of straps showing. This dress was a perfect rent and I would definitely recommend it!
