The fabric on this dress is beautiful, wonderful feel and color. The top of the dress runs tight so probably not the best for a large chest or order up. The long is SUPER long (I'm 5'7") but I was able to make it work with the suggestion of my husband by tucking the extra fabric under the waste band. By doing so it added some pleats in the waste/hip area allowing an extra bit of camouflage in the area which was nice. One of my favorite rentals to date.

I loved the look of this dress in the pictures but wasn't as excited about it in person. I was looking for a statement dress for a wedding and this reminded me of many similar lace dresses with the open back that have been so popular lately. It also didn't fit well and the backup was unavailable. Suprisingly my trouble area (hips) fit but my chest was being extremely flattened (which is unusual). Perhaps in a larger, better fitting size the dress would be more flattering.

Beautiful color statement dress. I wore this to a blacktie downtown hotel wedding and received many compliments (both male and female) on the dress. One of my favorite rentals to date. I had to buy a special u shaped bra (that I was able to find cheaply last minute online) and plenty of fashion tape. Given the thin silk like fabric of the dress this is not one i would personally wear without a bra. Also without the fashion tape the dress would have been much lower and revealing then the model picture shows. I only gave it four stars for a couple reasons. (i) given the deep wide v i felt like i was adjusting the dress and tape all night (ii). the dress is SHORT. I am usually between a R and L and went with the length recommended by the stylist (regular) but at a tall 5'6'' the dress was way too short even with no heels; (iii) Condition of the dress. The 8R was fine but I would not have worm the 6R. I am not sure if it was from a different batch of fabric or given the delicate nature of the silk has just been drycleaned too many times but it looked like it had seen better days .

This bracelet was picked by the stylist is match a pair of RTR shiny silver and "diamond" earings. Although it wasn't my first choice i was told by the stylist "this is the only bracelet available that would match". Well they didn't . The metal on the bracelet is a dark grey, almost blackened silver. I am not sure if that is how it was made or if it is caused by tarnish (and needs cleaning). I ended up wearing a different pair of earings to make it work.

Color is great. Given it comes in S-M-L the dress is very stretchy, reminded me bit of a lace bandage dress. If you are very thin or have "firm" distinct curves this is probably a great dress.

This dress was ok but not my favorite. The color is more hot pink then red as it appears online. Also the dress I had appeared to have been dry cleaned a number of times and had shrunk. The back of the dress around the slit did not sit right but unfortunately given the timing I didn't have time to send it back. Also the shoulder area was restricting (again not sure if that was due to the cut or the dry cleaning). I have a pear figure but had a hard time lifting my arms most of the night out of fear of ripping the dress. If you have wide shoulders this may not be the dress for you.

The back of this dress is beautiful but if you are not going to wear long hair up I would probably pass. The front of the dress is a lot less detailed and the cut can make your upper body look a bit boxy. It may be better for someone with very thing arms. There is also a lot of heavy fabric so I would recommend for cooler weather. This is definately a fashion statement dress vs va va voom (minus the back).

RTR sent this dress to me as a backup because my original order was damaged. Color is great, but as a mor pear shaped girl the shape didn't do much for me. if you are trying to size the bodice is very fitted and the skirt leaves a ton of flexiblity with lots of material.

I've rented a number of dresses from RTR and this is one of my favorites. The material/quality/detail of the dress do not even start to come through in the RTR picture. Also the dress is extremely more flattering providing an hour glass shape then the slouching woman in picture shows. I tried this and one other dress on for my boyfriend and his response (from a guy that could care less about fashion) was that this one is "a show stopper" The one thing is this dress is not for the faint of heart, is is cut LOW, as in i had to buy a special bra low. For the family/church portion of the wedding i also ended up wearing a lace insert to make it a bit more modest. Great for an A-small C but anything bigger may be tacky. I usually where a 6 but this dress is cut narrow through the hips (where I am the widest) so I ended up sizing up. The top was a bit big for that reason.

I liked the idea of the dress but it wasn't very flattering. Im somewhere between and hour glass and pear shape and the dress gave me no waist, I looked a bit like a box. Actually now looking at it again the model looks a little boxy too. Also the dress material seemed to have shrunk from multiple drycleaning so the hem was unevern. Im pretty consistantly a four and the dress was tight. The 6 felt better but was even more unflattering because of being to big.

Hesitated on renting this because the dress didn't do much for the model but given all the pictures of the "everyday" woman looking great I went a head and did. Extremely flattering, the dress creates a nice hour glass shape and has a little stretch to fit nicely without having to go through tailoring. I was also concerned that the rouching would add extra weight but it didn't and if you had a little bit of stomach or bumps i think it would cover it nicely. Also the color is not as orange as it appears in pick. I usually wear a 4 and wore it in that size but with the stretch i would say it was on the larger end of a normal 4.
