Pretty dress but slightly too low cut
I liked the print and fit of this dress, but it was unfortunately ever so slightly too low in the front and showed my bra and more cleavage than I wanted. The front ruffled are also more pronounced than expected and added some unnecessary volume. Was sorry to have to return

Not as expected
This dress looked so cute on the model but looked different in person and did absolutely nothing for me. I am 5'4" and expected it to be a little long, but it was down to my ankles and had a ton of extra fabric that really swallowed ne. The neckline under the ruffle was also weirdly high, so it hit at a strange spot. One roommate compared it to an older woman's nightgown and the other said I looked like a character in West Side Story. I usually love Kate Spade but this one was a dud.

Great dress
I got this dress for work and got a lot of compliments from my coworkers! It has really great details (ruffles, subtle beading, etc.) and I love the print. I will say that it's pretty short (I'm only 5'4" and felt more comfortable wearing tights under it), so it might not work on someone who is tall.

Very cute but huge sleeves
I loved this dress, but the sleeves were way too long! I'm used to having things be a little long on me since I'm fairly petite and have short arms, but the bell sleeves almost entirely covered my hands. It was a great fit everywhere else and I really liked the embroidery.

Super cute but tight across the chest and shoulders
I wanted to love this dress (this material was a nice quality and the print was really cute) but it was super tight across the chest...to the point where I couldn't move my arms very well. If I had gone a size up it would have been too large everywhere else. Wish it had worked!

Love this dress!
This is such a great summer party dress. It worked well with a strapless bra, though I did have to pull the dress down a bit in the back so that it didn't show. I'm fairly petite and the length was still great. I thought the print would be too loud but I ended up really liking it and got a lot of compliments. The one thing I will say is that I would not recommend wearing it anywhere remotely windy...it lifts up very easily!

Cute for work and after!
I really liked the fabric of this dress...it's actually constructed with a bunch of triangular panels, which is a nice detail and elevates it from being a basic black lace dress. My only complaint is that the neckline is slightly gappy...I had to use some double-sided dress tape to get it to stay down and not show my bra, which didn't hold up for the entire day.

One thing to note: this dress is actually two separate pieces...a slip dress and then a little top with an elastic band and a ruffle at the bottom. If the dress part was cut a bit differently, I think I would wear it on its own! Overall this fit really well and was very cute...the only downside is that the dress is a bit sheer (though not see through) and the seams around the armholes are a little itchy. Would probably order again, though I wouldn't want to purchase and own it permanently.

Great flirty work dress
I loved this dress so much that I'm ordering it again! I really liked the pattern, and the ruffles and short length made it feel even more feminine. I wore it to work, though it would be great for a date or drinks after. I usually am a 4, but sized up to a 6 based on other reviews and it fit perfectly.

Perfect work dress (with tights)
I absolutely LOVED this dress. It was a bit short, but since I'm only 5'4" it looked fine with tights under it. It was super comfortable and felt effortlessly chic. I'm pretty curvy so I was worried that it would have a boxy fit, but the shift style looked great on me. Looking forward to renting it again when the weather is cooler!

Great spring dress!
The fabric is nice and thick and the colors are very pretty in person. It fits perfectly (the chest isn't too tight, even with the buttons up the front) and looks great. Really looking forward to wearing it to work!

Very comfortable but problem around pocket area
I really wanted to love this dress--great fabric, super comfortable, nice length--but the fit was not ideal. The zippered sections are actual pockets, which is nice in theory, but meant that there was a lot of extra fabric right around the stomach area (not a place where I'd like to have an illusion of added weight!) It's very sleek otherwise, and I was disappointed to return it.

Great print, but lots of extra fabric
I really liked the print of this dress, but it wasn't very flattering on me. I tried to cinch the waist to get more of an hourglass shape, but there was still a lot of fabric billowing out in the top section. If you are looking for a loose, more boxy cut it would probably be fine. I should also note that the ties on the dress are tassels, which you can't really see from the pictures.

Great spring dress
This dress fits perfectly and the color is really pretty. It feels a bit basic (both in its simplicity and the fact that it would look great paired with Lilly prints at Carolina Cup) but I think it has the potential to be styled in a lot of different ways. Looking forward to wearing it this spring!

Pretty fabric, unflattering cut
The fabric was nice and I liked the fact that they sent an extra slip along with it, but the cut was extremely unflattering. I have a fairly curvy shape and the elastic bands stretched right across the thicker parts of my curves instead of the thinner ones. It might work okay for someone who is more straight up and down or has a longer torso. I usually love The Kooples so I was disappointed to send this back!

Loved this dress
I was so happy with this dress. It fit perfectly and was very flattering. It was about an inch too low cut for work, so I wore a bandeau under it for more coverage, but would have gone without it in a more casual setting. Can't wait to order it again!
