I never wore this dress to my function b/c it was too large and the sleeves were long on me. The material is a nice thick quality and the embroidery adds an interesting touch to this dress. I'm normally between 4 and 6 but ordered a 4. I think a 2 would've fit me better. For reference I am 5'2", 124 lbs. 

I absolutely adore every aspect of this dress! Flattering cut and comfortable fit. The embroidery is exquisite.

I wore this for a concert and it did t disappoint. It runs a little large so if you want it form fitting, size down. The details were impeccable!

Love love love this dress with gorgeous embroidered flowers. It has no waist and runs quite large In the hips. I am usually a 2-4 so first got this in a 2. The 2 was way too large/baggy. Ordered it a second time in a 0 and that fit perfectly. Note there was not the same looseness in the bust. The bust fit perfectly but not loosely. 

So cute and great quality! Felt loose and comfortable yet looked great for work and going out after 

A little tight across my bust but I was swimming in the 12, so wore the 10.  Sleeves are long.  Still super cute and fun dress!

Rented this to wear to a number of after work events this fall. Absolutely love this dress! The embroidery is so fine. I get complements whenever I wear it! It does fit a little snug through the shoulders which is ok for me. The a-cut is very flattering in the midsection. It is short so tights are a must for me. 

This was a little tight across the bust for me (though my chest is large) and loose in the waist. I threw on a belt, and it was perfect. Fun, comfortable, and work appropriate. The sleeves are a little long and get in the way sometimes, but nothing unmanageable at my height 

Wore to work and got a few compliments. Simple black dress that was a little bit fun!

After I ordered this I saw that it was rated as fitting large. I was concerned that maybe I should have sized down. I don't find it to fit large, because the shoulders and neckline are in the right place, but it is a loose fitting cut. It drapes well though, it doesn't just hang loose like a tent. I probably could have sized down and been fine, but I'm happy with my regular size too.

Rented this for a trade show and it was fun, stylish and comfortable. I could have sized down, but it just fit in the bust so I had to go with a looser fit for the rest of the dress.

The dress does run a little large. I wish I ordered one size smaller but it was still fine. The event was on the water so it was a bit on the cool and breezy side but the dress was warm enough. The sleeves are long which I loved (except when I dragged one through my food...). 

I LOVE this dress.  The sleeves run a touch long but I felt comfortable and pretty in it.  I rented this dress again in a size 2 and preferred the easy drape of the 4.  I would buy this dress.

Wore this to work and to the Harvard club for dinner and then the next night to a jazz night out with friends. Sleeves can be a little cumbersome when reaching over a table but overall this was a great find!

This is truly a beautiful dress. I thought it was pushing it on the shorter side for work, but the long sleeves and loose fit make it appropriate. One note, the material is not super stretchy, so when you lift your arms horizontally the dress does rise up, so I would not recommend for a wedding or other event where there may be dancing. 

I really enjoyed wearing this dress! It is generously sized, but very comfortable. Looked cute with boots. Loved the colorful flowers and shape of the neckline. Overall a great dress perfect for work and little work parties in the spring!

I may just have to keep this dress longer or even buy it. Fits well and is very slimming. Compliments at 8:00am from strangers at Las Vegas McCarran started my day off right. Getting ready to go to a convention. 

I rented this for my birthday & ended up wearing it to work with tights & boots before going out to dinner at night. The colors and flowers are beautiful and add such a nice touch to the fabric. I found this ran very true to size and wasn't too short or low cut. 

This is a sweet dress. It's fully lined and the embroidery is very pretty. It's fun, flirty and totally comfortable. I'm a size 2 and wore the size 0 because that was available. 

Very cute.  Wore to several parties with my over the knee boots. Perfect dress for dinner parties or going out to theater. Incredibly made- very high quality, heavy and fully lined and embroider flowers are bright making dress whimsical and fun. Sleeves are long and top a bit big but still works. Can dress it up further for cocktail party or down like I did. Very fun- keeping thru holiday season in Chicago.

This dress is well made. The colors of the flowers are very vibrant. Made for a unique look for work. 

The bright floral details on this dress make it very pretty. I usually wear a 4 but took a 6 and it was big but still looked OK because of the drape of the dress.  Will rent again in my size!

This dress is adorable! Hem was a bit "wavy" - you can't really see it in the photo. It didn't lie flat, but that might be due to the cool embroidery detail. Also, for short people, the sleeves are really long. Regardless, I loved wearing the dress. My husband and I had a really fun night celebrating 13 years of marriage - thx RTR!

This is a lovely little black dress with flattering V-neck and stunning embroidery.  The embroidery around the hem is stunning.  I usually wear size 12-14. Based on reviewer feedback, I ordered size 10, which fitted perfectly in shoulder and waist.  The length is good for work.  The only down fall is the chest area: it is very tight that the dress rose up when I lifted arms horizontally.  Maybe I will try size 12 next time to see how it fits.

I loved this dress so much!  I gave it a 4 star because the fit of it is so strange. I normally wear a 4 or 6 but based on other reviews I wore a size 2.  It fit me fine overall but the shoulders seemed slightly tight and the bust was large as was the rest of it. Size 2 was the way to go for me but it still seemed off. The material was very nice and the embroidered flowers steal the show!

A nice black dress alternative but would size down 1-2 sizes.  The dress can be worn by petite sized ladies but I feel like the dress is really meant for taller women with longer arms - the sleeves are really long accentuated by a bell shape at the bottom.  The embroidered flowers are beautiful.

Love the colors on the flowers but the sleeves are SO long and the overall fit is large. Size down!

This dress is adorable, but the sleeves are INCREDIBLY long ! Had to used double stick tape to fold them under & they were still long ! I am even "gangly " and have pretty long arms as it is ! It runs large , I'm 5 '6   118lbs & the 0 was still a lil lose . Really cute & fun dress otherwise. Wore it to an Art show & it was perfect! 

I wore this dress for a speaking engagement I had at work. It was the perfect balance of cute & fun, while being professional. I originally rented a 10, but it was too tight in the bust (I'm a 36DD) so I exchanged it for a 12. With also being petite, I needed to wear a camisole underneath but this may not be necessary for taller and/or smaller busted frames and, as many other reviews noted, the sleeve length is a bit long. The embroidering is gorgeous and I received a lot of compliments. I rented this through unlimited so I'm hanging on to it to wear one more time before I return it :)

Perfect dress to be worn for a date night or dressed down for a day out and about. This dress from Tanya Taylor, is a great black dress option with a pop of color. This dress runs a little large, so it is recommended to go a size down for backup. There is plenty of stretch in the fabric and room in the bust for any cup size. The midsection is not too tight, to flatter any size waist.. If you’re curvier, this dress will be flattering in the hip area. Any bra type can be worn for this look. The long sleeve and v-neck feature make this dress flattering for any body type. The v-neck allows for the look to be dressed up with a statement necklace to add to the pop or color or even a add a simple choker. The dress is  34” from the shoulder to hem, making the dress hit above the knee. This look is great for date nights, a day out with friends/family or even for a fun look at work.  This dress works best with black heels or black booties and can be paired with accessories for more color! 

Pros: great idea, comfortable, cute and cheerful pattern! Cons: lining sticking out at edges at various points (sleeves, hemline) and weirdly big. I wear a 4 or 6 and size 2 was too big in the shoulders especially. Arrived with sleeves tucked in not sure why, made it wrinkly. Wore it anyway because is cheery and easy to wear!

As most of the reviews said, this dress runs very large. I would say the only thing fitted was the width of the shoulders. The arms were so long, the bottom was like a tent and the V neck in the front required a tank underneath to keep it work appropriate. 
Comfy to wear to work since there was so much room! 


I really wanted to love this dress. What's not to love? Little black dress with flattering V-neck and stunning embroidery.  But the cut is really strange. I usually wear size 10-12. Based on reviewer feedback, I ordered down one size (ordering the 10). Even in the smaller size, the dress itself is still huge (body is like a tent and sleeves are wide and long), yet the chest area is very tight.  Not flattering.  Too bad.

This is a really pretty dress so I was bummed it didn't fit well. The bottom and sleeves just had way too much material. Oddly, though, the top was really tight on the shoulders. Really weird combination...

I think this would be best on someone tall with narrower shoulders / smaller chest. 

The embroidery around the hem makes this more special in person then in the photos. I found the bell sleeves to be so long and floppy that they were comical. The fabric was itchy and rough, it felt cheap. I could not wait to take this off.
