Very tasteful and lovely.
Wore this to work as well as a work-related memorial service. It is conservative yet still pretty and eye-catching in its simplicity. It was just right for the event I needed to attend. It is a little snug in the arms and shoulders and stomach, but it was still manageable. I think it flatters petite girls who also have some curves to them.

Fun and bright summer dress!
I wore this for a beach wedding and really matched the seaside vibe of the event. The off-the-shoulder and slit along the bottom adds a pretty touch without being too revealing.

Beautiful color, classy gown!
At first I thought the gown in the 4R was a bit tight around my hips. I was going to go for the 6R instead, but I was spilling out of that one up top and had difficulty taping it down. So I wore Spanx underneath the 4R and I was set. The color is a beautiful peacock color and is a stunner of a dress if you want to feel beautiful and sophisticated.

The ultimate conversation piece! Wanted to keep it!
The vest runs large, so it's OK to size down. I paired this with two accessories that I rented through RTR: the Anya Hindmarch Neon Smiley Crossbody Bag, which I worried may clash, but it turned out to be a hit of a pairing. I also wore the Star-Drop Earrings by Ben-Amun. This is a really incredible, standout vest and unlike anything I had rented before since I usually rent dresses. It fit the occasion I wore it out for and everyone I encountered was asking me about it and marveling at it! When I told people I rented it, they said I should keep it! It was one of my all-time favorite RTR pieces that I've ever worn and I was SO sad to send it back :-(

Pretty color, fabulous back and side cutouts!
This was tricky to put on--I did need some help hooking the back straps together--but once it was on it fit well and looked good. People told me they liked it. It is a lovely soft but pretty color and the back detail is very cool--most definitely the reason why I got it. Just be prepared that the back is a little hard to do on your own!

Traffic cone bright orange that literally stops traffic!
This dress is a wonderfully traffic-cone bright orange and with large trumpet sleeves that move very gracefully. I could not walk anywhere at the bridal shower I went to without people stopping me and asking where I got it. I told them Rent The Runway every time, and one woman who had heard about it before was immediately convinced that she would give it a try after seeing me in this dress. On the drive home I even had a fire truck full of firefighters drive beside me and they honked their horn at me! All in all, a great dress if you want to be different!

This was true to size and fit comfortably and beautifully--as you can tell from this pic I was quite comfortable wearing it :-D Absolutely no problems at all and it was a standout dress! Loved it!

Bright dress! Worked great for a children's show!
I wore this for a children's readers theater event held at local public libraries (I played Piggie from the "Elephant and Piggie" books). I couldn't have asked for a better dress to wear on stage: the color is a nice bright pink, the cut is sheath style which was work-appropriate--I paired it with bright pink tights, pink kitten heels, pink pigtail hair ties, pink kitten heels and, yes, a sparkly pink tutu. Most importantly, I was able to move freely and comfortably in it since I had a slightly physically demanding performance with some tumbling and crawling, so my worries of flashing the audience for a G-Rated show was alleviated. This was the first occasion I have used RTR for work and I happened to have some credits sitting on my account, and since I don't own a lot of pink, this dress came through in a huge way. It may not help a lot of readers looking to wear this in a normal way, but this is how I wore it and it worked wonderfully! Thank you!

A blast of color on a grey day! A standout dress!
This dress was much brighter and pinker than I expected, but that was fine by me! It's a bright bubble-gum pink. I didn't feel the need to wear a necklace with the gold embroidery along the front. It didn't need much embellishment for the event I went to, which was a graduation, the dress did all the talking on its own. When it was a little chilly, I paired it with a pink, blue and white shawl which looked nice. It was a little larger than I expected--the tank sleeves were a little roomy--but given the nature of this event I didn't mind and it was still very much wearable. I don't wear a lot of Lilly usually (code: ever), but I truly loved wearing this and would consider wearing more. A fresh summery standout!

Compliments left and right! Served it all night long!
This was the first time I rented a floor-length gown from Rent the Runway. The details on sizing and fit were spot-on and exactly as described. I had a backup dress but didn't need to rely on it at all. It also accentuated my shape nicely and didn't feel restrictive at all, even while seated. I wore 4 inch heels which suited my 5'2" self as well as a pair of rented teardrop earrings by Bel Amun suggested by the RTR stylists and slapped on some fake lashes and red lipstick and that was it! I couldn't walk five steps without people coming up to say how amazing this dress was: from getting out of the car before even going in, at the event itself, even in the bathrooms! It couldn't have worked out better and I hope to rent more longer gowns in the future!

Compliments all night! Fit me--and the event--perfectly!
I wore this dress to my husband's birthday party at a club. I've never worn Versace before but it fit so well and made me feel like a rockstar! I was glad to have the backup size since the 42 was a bit tight. The 44 fit great: hugged all the right places and was a very nice length. The cutout up top was super cool. Didn't have any nip-slips! I used fashion tape just in case, which really wasn't necessary, but it gave me peace of mind to use it anyway. I'm not familiar with European sizes but it never hurts to follow the guidelines in selecting the right size for you. The free backup is also a great service to take advantage of if you're like me and might not be sure what your size is. In short, I loved it! One of the best rentals I've tried through RTR!

Ballet pink color, cool dress, but was sent the wrong size :-(
I received this dress at no extra charge from RTR as an alternate when my first dress was torn and unavailable two weeks before my event. This dress would have been a cool alternative option, but I was disappointed when I received a size 10 instead of a 4 (the top choice dress I wanted was a European size 10, and Halston uses American sizing). This isn't anyone's fault, if anything it might be mine; I should have caught the mistake in the email before the dresses were mailed out. I love RTR as a service--they work exceptionally hard to make their customers happy, and I will continue to rent with pleasure--but since the size of this dress was way off, I can't be a good judge of how it fits. Just be weary of the difference between American and European size listings when ordering from this site, because it isn't always clear from listing to listing,

A standout dress with show-stopping color!
I wore this to the first of two nights of my college reunion at Sweet Briar College. Our class colors are pink and green so this fit the bill for wearing something green! Fit great--structured yet comfortable--colors are bright and the fabric is soft. A hit!

Bright, colorful, stood out for all the right reasons!
I loved this dress! At first I wanted a size 10 but it was all sold out for the block of days I was looking for, so after reading the reviews I went one size up, and it worked out better than I would have hoped. In hindsight I was relieved I wore a size 12 since the dress is a bit short and rode up a little high while I was seated. Had I worn a 10 I may have spent more time adjusting the length of my dress, so I didn't mind wearing the roomier size 12! In nearly 2 years of renting from RTR I would rate this as one of my favorite dresses I have rented so far...definitely in my Top 3! Got compliments all night long...even from the bride! I wish I didn't have to turn into a pumpkin and return it! You won't be disappointed with this one!

Since I cancelled the order I can't say how it looks in person, but I love the color in the photos. The customer service at RTR was very accommodating even though I didn't wind up wearing it and gave me store credit towards another purchase. :-)

This dress was lovely but it got outvoted by my friends for another dress I personally owned.
The dress felt a little loose to me but it still would have been wearable. The color is more light pink in person than the photos suggest, but also has a silvery metallic sheen to it as well.

Ultimate birthday party dress!
I wore this for my birthday dinner and I couldn't have felt more festive! The skirt has a nice light swing to it. The busty part was a tad loose on the top but no wardrobe malfunctions to report with it. If anything I had a full birthday meal complete with dessert and I was still comfortable in the dress. I loved it and my husband thinks it's the best RTR dress I have tried so far (this is my fourth dress). Thanks RTR for making my birthday complete!
