Fit really well and was flattering, thick fabric. It is plain, but the bright color looks great. Only gave it 4 stars because hem was coming undone on the front, but I fixed it with some double sided fashion tape and had no issues after that. 

I wore this to my daughters baby shower.  It was comfortable, very flattering, and a lovely thick fabric.  The color is a bold pink. Perfect for "it's a girl!".

This dress was more on the conservative side but very forgiving so I was comfortable in it the whole night. Pros: Color was beautiful, cut was flattering, length was perfect. Cons: Kind of plain, nothing too exciting about it so you really have to dress it up with jewelry to make it stand out. 
I ordered a size 8 and maybe could have gone a size down because the top was sort of baggy but overall I got lots of compliments and was happy with the dress!

The color of this dress was sooo pretty, lots of compliments. Very comfortable and true to size. Would definitely rent again.

Rented for a charity benefit and it was perfect.  Gorgeous color.  So many compliments throughout the night.  Very figure flattering.

This dress is cut a little larger than some
Other DVF dresses. The stomach/hip area (from the side) has extra fabric, as if to accommodate you if you're 15 weeks pregnant or bloated.  Waist is larger too - on a size 6, it was closer to 29-30" but again, that's the shift style.  I am 5'5" and the length was conservative.  Color is great - bright and cheerful.  

Loved this dress was a great color and fit really well. The fabric was light and have no complaints!

I wore this for date night, a concert in the park. Could also be a cute work dress. Fit was good, my husband really liked the color.

This dress was a stretchy fabric so I never felt like I was confined. The color was flattering!
The only downsize I could see is that it wasn't completely forgiving in side rolls and hips department. I attended two weddings in the same night with this dress and during the 2nd reception, wrinkles started to stick around but not in an awful way. Comfy & cute so I was happy with this backup since my original Dress only have one size that was too small.

Loved this dress! Color was bright and perfect for a July wedding. Fit was close to size with a touch of extra space in the hip area which made it comfortable and great for dancing. 

Cute summer dress for work - not too tight. My one concern is that it is quite short on me (I'm nearly 5ft 10) so beware if u are tall 

Loved the fabric and feel of this dress. It had enough stretch to make it feel comfy but was not super tight. I am between a size 4 & 6 - in the future I will rent the 4 - this dress definitely runs on the big  end but I was able to wear the 6 - it was just a bit roomy. The color is also really pretty - looks great with a tan!

Got a wedding backup but ended up wearing it to work instead.  It's a striking color, but was so well cut it didn't seem loud.  Thicker fabric.   Disregard the little wrinkles in the front, those came out easy.  If they had this dress in other colors I would definitely wear again.

I had rented this dress before in the other color, and this one was just as wonderful. Of course, most things from DVF work for me. :) It runs true to size - I'm a pretty solid 8, and it fit like it was made for me. The fit is super flattering, the color vivid but not too loud. I would definitely rent again!

I loved this dress! I was worried it would look "too simple" but the color made it stand out. The fabric is thicker and feels nice and fitted. I could wear a normal bra underneath. I'm usually in between a 2-4 and I didn't even try on the 4 because the 2 fit perfectly and was comfortable. Might be a little too short for someone taller but was perfect on my short frame. Would definitely rent again.

I loved this dress. I wore it to my graduation from pediatric residency and it was fairly conservative in fit, but the color really made it pop. I probably could have worn a 4, but the 6 was still great. It was comfortable, didn't ride up at all, and was a good length (not super short, but still midway above the knee). I would absolutely rent this dress again! Tons of compliments.

This dress fit like a dream.  So comfortable and fitted without being overly tight.  I think it will look fun but classic in my engagement pictures for years to come.  The color is so pretty- bright, but not "neon" or anything.  Could go with gold or silver jewelry, and could be good for work or a wedding depending on how you style it.  I normally am right between a 4 and a 6 and this one I wore a 4.  I would say size down if you are between two sizes.  I could wear a normal bra with it and didn't need spanx or anything for the tummy area.

Fit was ideal. Complimented my natural waist, and appropriate length. The color received so many compliments! Great for a daytime event. 

This was my backup dress, and overall I was very happy with it. I wore a size 10, and it fit true to size. The a-line skirt was very flattering, and it was super comfortable. It's not lined, so I had a few issues with it sticking to my Spanx, but that is my only complaint. Perfect for a bridal shower or baby shower!

I wore this dress on Valentine's Day and took a photo in front of the pink wall with the pink roses. The color is beautiful, and it fits me really well!

I rented this dress for a Halloween Party ( I was Princess Peach from the Mario games). Honestly, I was just looking for a cute pink dress and wasn't super excited about this one. However, once I put it on, the fit made all the difference ! The 2 fit snug on the body without being too tight. The material was a little thick, which was nice since we were outside for most of the party. The length was perfect. I'm 5'8'' and this dress was just long enough so that I was not uncomfortable bending or moving around. The cut was perfect for my body type, I would rent this dress again !

Dress fit well - a little big on top but I'm a 34A and I put something over it for work anyways - wore it twice, one with a black cardigan and once with a black blazer, both times with black pumps. Lots of compliments on the color.

I wore this for a children's readers theater event held at local public libraries (I played Piggie from the "Elephant and Piggie" books). I couldn't have asked for a better dress to wear on stage: the color is a nice bright pink, the cut is sheath style which was work-appropriate--I paired it with bright pink tights, pink kitten heels, pink pigtail hair ties, pink kitten heels and, yes, a sparkly pink tutu. Most importantly, I was able to move freely and comfortably in it since I had a slightly physically demanding performance with some tumbling and crawling, so my worries of flashing the audience for a G-Rated show was alleviated. This was the first occasion I have used RTR for work and I happened to have some credits sitting on my account, and since I don't own a lot of pink, this dress came through in a huge way. It may not help a lot of readers looking to wear this in a normal way, but this is how I wore it and it worked wonderfully! Thank you!

This is a great dress!  So comfortable and pretty!  The fabric is really thick though...alittle hot for summer.

I'm a 0/2 on top and 2/4 on bottom plus petite. This DVF Carrie dress fit impeccably well, the fabric was thick enough, and the color was gorgeous!

As everyone else stated, this is a super comfortable dress!  It was a little loose on me, but I had dropped 4 pounds between when I ordered it and when I got it so I would say it runs true to size.   I would highly recommend this dress to anyone considering it.  It is very simple but can be easily dressed up with accessories.  This is my second time using Rent The Runway and I am very pleased with the dresses I've rented.  The customer service is top notch also.  

This dress is so simple but I LOVED it! It fit great, the color was great, I really felt like a million bucks in it! My fiancé was skeptical of me doing RTR but this dress made him understand why it's so awesome!

I rented this from my unlimited subscription for a dinner party. I read the reviews to size up one size, so I did and it was perfect. I thought it might be too short because I'm 5'9 but it hit a few inches above the knee without it making me feel like I was wearing a mini. Definitely recommend.
