The slit in this dress is what sold me!
I was a little surprised when I opened the bag, as pictures online do not fully capture the neckline and cuffs - which look very frilly + old lady in person. Even after I put it on I was hesitant as to whether I would wear to my friend's wedding. But I had paid for it, and didn't really have anything else to wear. In the end these things did not bother me during the event, and I got several compliments. Just want to warn others so they are not surprised!

Wore this dress for New Years Eve. The skirt had more fabric than I anticipated, but still fun.
Pros - love the neckline, and lacy overlay (especially on the back). Skirt hem was very fun with the layers and asymmetry, and the length was perfect for my sensibilities. Cons - As noted above, the skirt had more fabric than I envisioned, which made it feel kind of heavy (versus the more free-flowing skirt I had in my mind). Not a deal breaker at all, just a design component not captured by photos. Overall a very fun, and funky dress. I took it more 80s/rocker, but depending on shoes, jewelry, or make-up you can be creative with the final look!

New Years Eve wedding at a posh downtown location in Richmond, VA
Pros: the cut (both the dip in the back and asymmetrical hemline) & sequins made this a very fun dress to wear. I was also a big fan of the pockets. I found this dress ran true to size. I ordered my extra dress a size up based on other reviews, but wore my 'usual' size. I did wear adhesive bra cups, but probably could have gone without (I am a small B cup). The dress was structured & tight enough that I would have survived. Cons: the only con I can think of is the sequins frequently caught on fabric when I was hugging others.

Fun dress in a great color!
Pros - great color, loved the flowing skirt (made for easy, comfortable dancing), lightweight material perfect for hot summer weather Cons - there was some poking in the bodice area (couldn't figure out exactly what was causing it). It was a little uncomfortable at first, but i got used to it. I preferred not to have a strapless dress (to avoid yanking it up all night), but by the time i ordered this was the best option available. In the end this yanking issue wasn't as bad as I feared.

Felt very fashionable and party-ready in this dress. Wearing all sequins was a lot of fun!
I received both the Small and Medium sizes. Tried on the Medium first and it fit well so I didn't even try the Small, even this was my original selection. Overall it fit really well. I have long arms and worry about long sleeves actually covering me completely -- no issues with this dress. The length was also perfect - short without being inappropriate. I don't have a big chest, and I fit very comfortably in the top portion. If someone is more busty, they might feel somewhat constrained. Along this vein, I did think the top made me look flatter than I really am. But overall the dress fit so well and was so much fun that this was a minor complaint. Received a lot of compliments and for the right occasion, would wear this again!
