I went down a size and it was still way too big
I had to safety pin the waist to keep them up. I am a size 4 and even the xs was several inches too big at the waist.

It runs a bit short, which is fine for a short like me, but could be a problem for taller women. FYI there is a side zipper. It took me awhile to find it. Thicker material, would be too hot for summer

The fit just seemed a bit off. It was a bit too broad at the shoulders, fabric bunched a bit above the waist tie, and the fabric is a weird wrinkled/expandable fabric kind of like those one size fits everyone bathing suits
