Edgy and so comfortable
Styled this a bit edgy for a rock show at a club, it worked out perfectly on a very hot summer day (90+ degrees and insanely humid). The material is thin, light, and so so comfortable. However, beware that as a result it is NOT at all forgiving - it will show every curve and line.. I wore this with a slip over seamless undergarments and absolutely loved the look for a night out in a dark rock club (got tons of compliments) but if you looked closely you could still make out the outline of my navel. Again, the material is very thin so it is NOT forgiving - beware and rent accordingly. If that isn’t an issue for you then this one is a must rent dress for the summer. I will rent it again and may have to buy it.

Runs VERY large - challenging to style
Had to try this multiple ways before landing on a look. May have been easier if it was sized correctly (I should’ve sized WAY down) it runs very large. It’s unique and fun so I may try it again in a smaller size. Worth a “wild card” rental if you like statement pieces, but definitely size down two sizes.

Size up two sizes if you have a larger bust - think corset
Tried the 10 which is normally my size and could not even get it on. No give at all, the front zippers do zip up and down but it’s essentially a corset with ZERO stretch. It’s a great top but finding the right fit can be a challenge, particularly if you have a larger chest.

This dress is pure fire. Rent it.
Wasn’t sure about this when I first tried it on because the bust seemed to be a bit small, but after wearing it out I had to buy it. It is two layers of mesh and does have some stretch, you may need a strapless bra or if you don’t need any lift can likely go without one. It is heavier than it looks because it has two layers but certainly can work in summer weather. Just rent it. Worth the spot.

Perfect for a Jazz Brunch or a Dinner
This dress was warm enough for a rainy 40 degree day, it’s a knit and has some stretch- was TTS fit for me. The knit was not itchy at all and the print is simply stunning. I paired it with a mock turtleneck bodysuit because it was chilly and damp so sleeveless was not working. I highly recommend this one, would rent again - wore it to jazz brunch and also to a dinner/show.

Fun and flirty
It took me a hot minute to style this one as can come across a bit too young/schoolgirl uniform-ish but with some plaid pants, black boots, and a bowler hat it worked perfectly for a fun night out seeing a band and hitting up an open mic scene. It’s a thick sweater material, has a bit of stretch but not a lot. It is very warm so perfect for the still far too cold Northeast weather and it wasn’t itchy at all (I’m usually very sensitive to anything wool or scratchy generally). Worth the rental spot!

Amazing jeans once you sort the sizing issue
I originally rented a size 29 which didn’t fit and then sized up to a 31 which were perfect. As many reviewers have said, these also run long - I’m 5’8” and wore a 3 1/2” heel with them. Classic thick denim with no give or stretch but these jeans hug in the right places and are very flattering and comfortable once sizing is correct. Unique vintage vibe and very worth the rental.

Rock star, main character vibes
Amazing fit, TTS, and the faux leather feels real- so soft. Compliments and inquiries as to where I got it every single time I wear it. It’s warm enough for the weather in transition from Winter to Spring, but probably not warm enough for Winter weather (below 40 degrees). I highly recommend renting this one - worth a spot - I am keeping it through multiple swaps and will ultimately be buying it.

Sophisticated statement
This dress far exceeded my expectations and I immediately bought it. Styled it with some long hand warmer black and brown ribbed knits that matched the dress because it was far too cold here in the Northeast for a short sleeved dress. Standout look and I felt like a star! Rent this one and then buy this one while you still can - you will not regret it.

Warm and hugs in the right places
Cannot go wrong with Rabanne! I layered a thermal bodysuit underneath for an extra layer and long sleeves and this was a perfect dress for the cold weather. Just stunning.

This coat is amazing. One of my favorite rentals ever and so perfect in the frigid winter temps. It works with jeans or dresses and everyone - including strangers on the street - will stop you and want to take your photo, or try it on, or both.

Was terrific for Christmas!
This dress is soft, warm, and wonderfully whimsical. It was perfect for Christmas Day and warm enough to wear out during a number of snowstorms through the holiday season. The color and the bell sleeves are super fun and the dress couldn’t be any more comfortable. I am usually very sensitive to any type of wool knits but I did not find this to be itchy. Can’t wait to rent this one in the pink/purple version! Rent it. You won’t regret it.

Beautiful and versatile
This is a beautiful print that actually has a hint of blue running through it. Fits wonderfully! It is a lightweight almost jersey-type material that has stretch but definitely clings a bit (a slip is helpful). Can be dressed up or down. I also wore this styled short as a mini dress (pulled it up and folded over a belt to create a drop waist mini look) for an edgy rock club night out - got a lot of compliments styled both ways. Note- This one may be too long for the shorter gals without heels.

Love this dress! So many compliments. The material is a warm heavy knit - perfect for the cold weather- that hugs all the right places. It doesn’t have much give/stretch so size up for a larger chest or hips or if in-between sizes. It’s also quite long so may not be great for shorter gals without tall platforms/heels. I kept this through two swaps and may have to buy it because it’ll be difficult to let it go.

Very high neckline so wore it backward
This dress is unique and eye catching, however the neckline is very high and I found it to be irritating. I tried it backward, tucked the pocket flaps in, and paired it with a mock turtleneck bodysuit underneath (because it’s winter here in the NorthEast) and red boots and it was ultimately a huge hit. Definitely worth renting but it may require some experimenting with styling to get it right. It fits TTS and while the material has a little bit of give it would not have fit me if I had sized down - also, the chest area is quite fitted so may need to size up for a larger chest.

It just did not work
I so wanted to love this dress. I could not wait to rent it; I sized up based on the reviews so it would hang properly - which it did. But even with that, for lack of a better description, it felt like a Flintstone dress. Just a resounding NO. I even tried to style it with over the knee black boots and a thick black chain belt (hoping to create a rocker/90s look). Sadly then it just looked “rocker Flintstone” to me, which was comical but not at all the look I was going for. I’d say just pass on this one.

Hamilton showstopper.
This dress is beautiful - absolute showstopper. I wore it in November (in the Northeast) to see Hamilton and layered a bodysuit and fleece tights underneath to keep warm - which also solved for the deep plunge v neck. The material is not forgiving/ has no stretch and is a little tight around the waist. I sized up as I hadn’t worn this designer previously and I am very glad that I did or I would not have been able to zip this one up.

Neck is too high but works if worn backward
This is an amazing dress! It is a soft, somewhat heavy material with a bit of give/stretch. My only complaint was that the neck ran very high (to the point of discomfort) but I solved the issue by wearing it backward which worked fine but I had to wear a thin Belt to prevent the zipper area from buckling a bit when sitting - I took away one star solely for this reason. This was great for a lunch date, evening drinks, and an afternoon outing. Beware that the bell sleeves are very pronounced, which makes them super fun but a a tad bit impractical - I pulled the sleeves up owhen eating to avoid them ending up in my plate.

Fairy Punk Vibes
I tried for months to rent this one and finally got lucky. This sweater is so unique and stunning that I had to buy it! Can be dressed up or worn with jeans and combat boots and it is a sure fire conversation starter! I’ve worn it more times than I can count. If it’s your style, then this is a stunning piece to add to your closet for a couple of weeks or for a lifetime. Note - It doesn’t hang up well owing to the distressed nature, so I found it best to store it folded on a shelf (protected in a dust bag since I am keeping it). If you can find this one available then certainly rent it - or even better just buy one!

I absolutely loved this dress, however I had to take it off after about 20 mins because it was very itchy. I am very sensitive to wool so for those that aren’t this is a great rental. If you have any sensitivity to wool, then sadly you should probably skip this one.

Flattering Fit and Very Versatile
You can dress this one up or down and it’s a very flattering fit that comfortably hides curves and imperfections. I wore this one weekend to the ballet and the next weekend styled it “rock and roll” for Halloween (with thigh high 4” white boots and a steam punk top hat). It’s very comfortable and easy to wear, a soft material in the body and soft lace on the skirt. It has a very short micro slip built in. You will either need to skip the bra or go strapless, but the material is thick enough that unless you need some lift a bra isn’t necessary. The straps are also adjustable. Note that there is no stretch/give in the material and the drop waist may not fall well on shorter frames or those without a longer torso. I would rent this again in a moment and I may buy it in the future. It’s was a definite YES for me and I’ll be sad to send it back.

Edgy 1920s Vibe
I rented this despite some negative reviews and loved it so much that I bought it! The material is wonderful and it can be dressed up or down. I paired it with the R13 distressed sweater and some combat boots for a music show and also dressed it up with heels for a high tea and received tons of compliments both times. It falls better on the frame if it is a bit oversized and is likely best for those with tall straight figures - so size up if you are in between sizes or have a larger bust, I think if I had sized down for a more fitted look it would have been frumpy and odd, which could explain some of the negative reviews. If you are looking for an edgy 1920s bohemian look then this is the dress.

Soft, Flowing, So Easy to Wear- Bought it!
I love this dress. It’s such a wonderful, soft flowing easy material. Note that it has no stretch/ give and is likely better worn a bit oversized - so size up if you are in between sizes or have a larger chest. Also note that the straps, while adjustable, do run long even when adjusted to the shortest option. I wore this in the early Autumn for drinks out on the water at a marina and I find myself grabbing it on days where I just want to be comfy and easy while running errands or grabbing a casual lunch. Even in Autumn I’m still wearing it with a sweater thrown over and some leggings (see second photo). So glad I bought it. Thinking I maybe should have gotten two of them since I wear it every week at least once. Highly recommend.

The Perfect Autumn Dress
The print on this dress is like wearing a painting - so many compliments. The dress is a knit material with some stretch, but it is not scratchy or rough on the skin, it’s warm (like wearing a blanket ) so perfect for the Autumn weather that is quickly transitioning into Winter here in the Northeast. NOTE- It is long on me at 5’8” (hits at my ankles with 2” heels on) so if you are shorter then you may need heels or platforms. I wore this dress out to drinks/dinner, running around town doing errands, and I found myself reaching for it on damp, rainy days at home just because it was so cozy and comfortable. Definitely worth renting!

Great dress for a Bridgerton Ball. Note that the rib cage area is very tight with no give so absolutely size up. I got a large because the XL was unavailable but the L was a bit too tight in the rib cage so I couldn’t zip it all the way up. Made do with some strategic fixes and was thankfully able to wear it but would’ve been better one size up. Also, as others mentioned, the sleeves are a very rough, scratchy material which after trying on for just a few minutes I knew would be far too irritating to wear all evening, I lined the inside sleeve edges with some temporary adhesive moleskin strips that I cut to size and it helped immensely - no irritation at all.

Unique edgy elevated vibes
I was not sure where I’d wear this, but I rented it no matter and am so pleased that I did! I didn’t want to take it off or ever send it back. The material is soft and very light and flowing (added leggings underneath because it’s chilly right now in the northeast) and the embroidery is just stunning. It’s super versatile- worked dressed up with heels and jewelry for evening drinks or dressed down with combat boots and an army shirt for an afternoon art event. Rent this dress, you won’t regret it.

Looks amazing but fit is challenging
As many have said, the bustier on this dress is HUGE. I sized down and still needed a strategic deployment of a good bit of fashion tape to make this work. The boning on the corset is also a bit sharp so can be uncomfortable if you do not have a long torso. That all being said- the dress looks incredible once you sort out the fit issues. .

Very little give to the material so be sure to read all the sizing guidelines before ordering. It hugs through the waist and hips so may not be great for those with ample curves. It is also quite long (I’m 5’ 8” and it was floor length with 2 inch heels). Ample space in the bust area, it was a bit loose at the chest on me.

I loved this dress and will likely buy it if the price drops at all. Can be dressed up or down and a camisole or bodysuit works best under it. Note that the material has zero give, the dress runs tight in the chest, and the straps are not adjustable. Likely most compliments a tall, thin frame- it’s a dramatic drop waist and has a voluminous skirt.
