As many others have, I rented this dress for a family portrait session. While the session ended up being rescheduled, we still took some photos on our own since I had the dress already. It is flattering and flowy, with the waistband hitting right at my natural waist and then skimming away to create a lovely silhouette. The print photographs beautifully and I can see why so many have rented it for portraits! I will definitely be renting it again for our rescheduled session. At 5'4", I wore wedges (about 2.5-3") and didn't have to worry about the dress dragging on the ground. I think this dress would also be lovely for a spring event, and maybe summer if it's not too hot.

This is the second time I've rented an E&J dress, and I'm happy to report I love this brand. The unique neckline got several compliments, and everyone told me that I looked very slim in this dress. The length was great - hit me below the knees and combined with the heels I wore it made my legs look pretty long. I did wear some shapewear just to smooth everything out, but even when I tried on the dress without it, it looked good. It did tend to ride up a teeny bit and cause some wrinkles around my tummy while I was dancing, but at that point in the night I was having too much fun to care. The color was also really nice - soft gray with a blue-green undertone that let the shape of the dress stand out. I highly recommend this style.

Lovely! This clutch was a good size to hold my phone, cards, and lipstick. It also has a very subtle shimmer to the material which wasn't quite reflected in the photos online, but appears very elegant and understated in person. It just made the purse prettier. Opening and closing was a little stiff, but I think that's a good thing since it kept everything inside secure. I don't know if I would rent another bag because I have quite a few at home that go with many different outfits, but this was a fun option.

I ordered the equivalent of a 4 and 6 in this dress, and despite wearing the smaller size it was a pretty loose fit. I could have gone down a size further, It stayed up fine, thanks to the rubbery strip along the top. The style was perfectly suited to the Midsummer Night's Dream theme for my 30th birthday party, and the color was really flattering. Usually taupe-y colors wash me out, but this had enough of a peachy-pink undertone to keep me looking rosy. I also would like to note that the fabric was slightly different than what I anticipated - I thought it would be a little more flowy like chiffon, but it was a lovely lightweight linen type fabric. It actually worked out perfectly for the outdoor party since it was a pretty hot evening.

The initial outlay may seem a bit much, but if you're planning to rent more than once or twice in a year, this pays for itself. Especially if you want to book backup styles and/or accessories, since insurance is charged for each item in your order otherwise. I'm sure it's made me more likely to rent, but I just see that as a plus, since I get a different, gorgeous outfit for each occasion, and I don't have to worry about dry cleaning or crowding my closet with dresses I've worn just once.

I wore this to complement the Navy Flirt and Flare Dress, and it was a gorgeous accent. It lay perfectly for the neckline of the dress (sweetheart with straps), and added just the right amount of shine. This piece has good weight to it, and feels solid and sturdy. It stood up to quite a bit of dancing, bouncing around.

I rented this dress for my boyfriend's 30th birthday party (cocktail attire). The dress was great for the occasion, it fit well, and the skirt was swingy and flowed out nicely when I danced. I think the navy color was better on me than black, and I complemented it with red patent pumps and the suggested necklace (which was GORGEOUS). This dress has a lovely sheen to it and the fabric is nice and thick, adding to the structure of the bodice, which held me in quite well. My only concern was the neckline, which was just a bit low, and my advice would be that if you're a busty gal choose your undergarments wisely. Otherwise, dance it up!

The purple lining under pink lace is such a striking combination. I normally don't wear high-necked dresses because it can look odd with a large-ish bust (32D), but this flattered well, I think. I'm glad I heeded the other reviewers who noted that it runs large. I normally wear a size 6, and I got a 4 as my second size, thank goodness. It was still a bit roomy in the bust, and through the waist, but I think a size 2 might have been a little small since the fabric doesn't stretch. I paired it with the recommended necklace and a pair of nude heeled sandals, and I got compliments all night. I call my first RTR experience a total success.
