I'm a true size 6 and the top barely zipped and was very uncomfortable all night. The waist part fit more like an 8. Could work wonderfully for some figures, my straight athletic figure, it did not.

great quality but i was swimming in it
adorable cover up... perfect to throw on during vacation. Just wish i had went down TWO sizes. I'm a M 99.9% of the time and this was so big it wasn't exactly flattering.
