It fits like a sac! Loved this dress. It was light and airy and perfect for the Las Vegas heat. The buttons on the side are functional so you can unbutton and show a little leg. It was a beautiful dress. There is an extra bit of material by the busy that you can see. But other than that it was stunning 


I shouldn't have given this dress back ha. I have received so many compliments on it. It's definitely oversized and I was worried about flashing people a lot big so comfy and love that the buttons can be undone at the sides. Will be renting and again. 

Loved this dress. Mara Hoffman does it again. Perfect for the beach and then again for a summer Sunday night restaurant outing in the city 

I love this fun dress by Mara Hoffman! Running true to size with no stretch, I recommend wearing your true size for your primary size and down for your back up. This style is roomy throughout the midsection and loose at the hips. It works best for all cup sizes. You are not able to wear a standard bra with this dress so you should wear a strapless bra, nubra or no bra since due to the straps. At 5'0", the length hit right above the ankle on me. This dress is a cute style great from Spring and Summer. Pair with sandals and a statment accessory to complete your outfit!

It was a little too big/wide but overall material is a nice, structured linen..like the functional buttons on the side, comfortable, day dress

I loved the look of this dress. I loved the style of this dress. I loved how this dress looked on me. It is so chic. But it is so hard to wear because it is almost sheer and SO low cut it felt like I was going to have a nip slip at ANY MOMENT and EVERY pair of nude I own underwear showed. Bad for sitting. Not worth the stress for me. 

Little see -through, however .. just a hint.

This definitely fit like a tent, but in the best possible way. It was perfect for running my son around the city - worn in 60-70 degree weather and it was the perfect weight. 

One of the cutest pieces I've ordered but it was too big to wear. Very well made big straps didn't adjust and it was too big. 

This would be a great beach or pool coverup, but was too see through to wear for other occasions so I didn't end up using.

adorable cover up... perfect to throw on during vacation. Just wish i had went down TWO sizes. I'm a M 99.9% of the time and this was so big it wasn't exactly flattering. 

I am a bit too short and hippy for this dress. It felt a lot like an easy dress meant for a much taller person. It was a little too long and the neckline too low. I intended to wear it on a beach vacation so the low-cut was fine. The real deal breaker was how tight it was on my hips/bum. Loose and flowy everywhere else, but only just wide enough to fit my hips. I tried playing with the buttons to see if there was a way I could make it work, but - it did not look cute at all.

Like a lot of Mara Hoffman styles this dress was roomy, so if you are between sizes, size down. The material is thick enough that I didn't need a bra. The skirt area was slightly see through, but for a casual event without coworkers it is perfect. Even though it seems like it could be shapeless it was very flattering and hangs really nicely. I was very close to buying it, but decided to wait. I will probably rent again as it is a beautiful piece you could dress up or down. For me I just love items you can wear around doing errands and look incredibly stylist. I could wear this to dinner or to bed. 

I loved the look and feel of this dress, but couldn't wear it because the white (below the chest area) is see-through. If you have a good pair of nude underwear or Spanx, should be okay, just wasn't for me!

As others have noted, the straps should be shorter but overall, loved the dress. I had to steam it before wearing since it wrinkled in the suitcase but that wasn't a problem. I liked the elegance of the simple lines. I could have sized down. 

It fit well but the white was see through. 

I loved the linen and buttons but the top hang too low showing my bra. Then it was too tight around my hips. Not for the pear shaped! It also has zero stretch. This would be better for straight shapes and taller girls. 

I would have worn this dress if it were a little bit bigger in the chest.  Everything else fit, except that so I did not wear the garment.  

The dress is really pretty but this dress was far too large in the bust. 

I ordered the XS (my usual size) and it was comically large. It felt more like a medium on my frame. The straps were very long and the bust area is HUGE. I opted not to wear a bra and put knots in the straps to make it fit a bit better. It was still loose but I didn't mind as I was wearing it on a beach vacation. The side buttons are cute and make the dress unique. Note the dress is very long (i'm 5'6 with long legs and it fell below my knees) - definitely a midi dress.

Loved this dress, material is perfect. However, I had to pin the straps. It's very low and I can't imagine it fitting anyone well at the top!

This dress is extremely large. I would not recommend for a shorter person based on the shape.

A little tight through the bottom but loose in the bust. I think I ordered the right size, because any larger would've just been way too large in the bust. Didn't wind up wearing because I didn't think it was flattering.

Loved the dress online, but wish I had ordered the MED. The straps were nonadjustable and the piece hung too low for my comfort.

The dress was beautiful but it was extremely large and the straps aren't adjustable. I had to improvise and tie knots on the straps in order to make it work. Definitely size down for the dress!

i don't mind the "potato sack" fit, but my regular size was waaaay too big. the straps were so long my whole chest would have been exposed. trying again with a smaller size.

I was so excited for this but it was so big and not very flattering at all. I got it for date night but it was so loose and baggy (I'm a size 4), that I couldn't even wear it. 

This dress fits like a bag. I like looser clothing sometimes and this did absolutely nothing for me. It's also slightly sheer

Did not end up wearing. Baggy in the stomach area and very see through below the chest. It was double fabric at the chest but then went to single fabric and you could see right through it. 
It was also a little longer than I thought. It should've either been made to the ankle or right below the knee. 
Button detail and low neck style though was very cute

It's such a lovely dress but I'm 5'6 and the straps on the small were so long that the top part fell below my bra. The straps are not adjustable so there was no way I could wear it. As you can see (a bit) in the photo, the top section is lined but the bottom 2/3 of the dress is not.
