I think this fits true to size. I didn't find it small in the rib cage and I'm pretty average size. I sized up because of the reviews, but I definitely could have gone with a 4. I'm 5'4" 130lbs, and a 34D. I love the pretty pattern. Very unusual for me to do patterns, but this isn't too busy and has pretty rich colors and has black too so shoes and accessories are easy.

If you are familiar with Herve, this is a great piece, all of the fit, with none of the legs/boobs, for a more formal/conservative affair. Don't get me wrong, you will still turn heads with it's signature curve clinging material. I was happy that this dress didn't seem 'worn out' as sometimes girls squeeze into Herve, when they should really size up. I am 5'4" 130lbs, a 34D/DD, and although i could squeeze into an XS, Small is the way to go for girls my size. You don't have to worry, it's plenty tight, the arms hit perfectly, not too baggy or floppy or awkward. All of the marks of a designer dress. I adore Herve, and wish they made a lot more conservative pieces like this. I am too old to have boobs hanging out everywhere, or a mini skirt on in front of my teens. This allows you to look great, and still look CLASSY.

it fit great, but it was too short. even if i had worn flats you would have been able to see my shoes, so i just wore heels anyway. strange since i'm only 5'4" and this was regular length. regardless how tall you are, i'd go with the LONG. plenty of room in the bust, even though i'm a D.

Unfortunately the last person who rented this dress damaged it, and I couldn't rent it. But my "go to gal" called me and got ALL my info and was able to send me a BUNCH of choices and get me the gown of my dreams and she got me the sizes I needed and a back up dress and everything OVERNIGHTED (thank goodness!!!!) so I was SOOOOOOO HAPPYYYYYYY!!!! I was really crushed at first because I thought man, I am not getting the dress I wanted, but in the end, I ended up with a dress I loved a million times better! She really listened and helped and got me exactly what I needed! Thanks RTR for turning a potentially negative experience into a GREAT one!!!! :)

The 0L fit well. the additional pinning in bust area made for a tight fit, so be aware my busty friends! This was a dress they sent me when my first dress was unavailable. I decided to go with another dress. this is a very lovely dress and I might rent in the future. (Although I did see it on 5 girls that night at the event, so I wish RTR had some sort of feature where you could list what City or what Event you were attending to prevent that sort of thing from happening...I was really glad I went with the other dress instead of being lucky gal number #6.

Ladies, this gown is meant to be WORN. you will not just shrink among the masses of black dresses that you see at every event, this color is every bit as vibrant as it looks on the screen. it is G isn't just for GREEN, it's for GORGEOUS!!!! My only complaint and why I gave it 4 stars is that I was absolutely SWIMMING in this mermaid of a gown. The zero was GIANT on my petite frame and if my 32/34 D's were swimming I can't imagine a less endowed gal ever making this gown work. But no worries, an entire carton of double sided tape later, and those gals weren't going anywhere, ;-) But I would size at LEAST TWO FULL SIZES DOWN (I'm normally a size 2, and this 0 was HUGE) It was a lovely gown, and the best part is, I didn't run into my same dress at my event!

This was my back up dress and I didnt end up wearing it, but it was a lovely gown and I would rent again. If I rented again, I would rent size 2 for more room in bust (32D). The zero fit, but was Very tight due to the hidden boning in the gown, and you definitely need help getting it zipped up since your arms are in the sleeves and its just awkward. But other than that, lovely. Good length with 4 inch heels.

Well this is one where you should read the reviews ladies. I read them and thought, Nah, I can pull it off---WRONG! I'm a 32D and barely filled out the top, the neckline is so plunging that it makes the torso look so short-waisted you look like some kind of strange puffy midget ballerina with this huge, and I do mean HUGE tulle tutu skirt. They are Not exaggerating when they say it is an attention getter...however, that wasn't the kind of attention I was seeking. This one went back....though getting it back in the envelope with ALL that tutu was a bit difficult! I will say the go to gal at RTR was AMAZING. I called in a panic because this was the only dress I'd rented for my party and she was so sweet and helped me find another dress and overnighted it to me in time for my event. It worked out beautifully!

RTR saved the day! I ordered a dress that didnt work (my fault-should've trusted my instinct!) and the stylist overnighted me 2sizes of this dress. It was perfect! Both the 2 & the 0 fit but I went with the 2 as the 0 was a little too sexy for this particular party.It has plenty of stretch, without being "stretchy". Nice for us busty girls, but wouldn't be too roomy for those less endowed either. I am 5'3" and it hit me mid-thigh. A good length, not too short, but still nice, fun and not knee-length. I think this dress would work for a variety of ages. It was perfect for our Christmas party, definitely sparkly undertones underneath the trendy black scalloped lace. Pair with a chunky necklace and you are set!

Ok so I'm 5' 3 and wear about 4inch heels, both the 0 and the 2 fit well, the 0 like a glove and the 2 a little more breathing room, but I had to go with the 2 because I Dont like my shoes showing and the main difference in the two was length. I really wish I had gotten the 0L. Which is crazy for a 5'3" person to say, but ladies, if you are tall AT ALL or you like your heels like I do, I suggest getting the long! It was a beautiful dress, I wore my own belt because the fabric belt comes rolled and would need ironed and I liked the look of something a bit more polished. Overall this is a great dress, both dresses were in great shape, clean, free of snags or tears, and this, my first experience with RTR was the best experience I could hope for. I was very skeptical, and even had an old dress I hadn't worn in years "just in case" something fell through, but everything worked out beautifully. Since then ive rented 4 times, all times have been just as smooth!
