Favorite RTR of ALL TIME
Ladies, don't rent this dress if you don't enjoy endless compliments. This Marchesa was TO DIE FOR! The purple hue is a complete stunner and it's sweet and sexy with the laciness and delicate straps. I wore for a black tie optional wedding, and since most other guests didn't opt for a formal look, this dress was absolutely spot on for the occasion. There were no reviews at the time I rented and it suggested sizing up, so I went with the 2. It was rather loose in the hips for me, but I don't think I could've zipped up the bust all the way with a 0. Didn't need any shapewear (almost went braless) and so comfy to dance all night in (while getting those compliments)! This dress was a dream. Go rent this!!!

Wore it to welcome my fiance home from a six-month deployment in Afghanistan!
Warning... two other tearjerking photos to follow (and please excuse my ugly crying face)! I couldn't quite figure out what to wear to this very emotional occasion. I hadn't seen my fiance in six months (so I wanted to look somewhat sultry), I had the USO arrange for me to greet him at the gate in the very busy Las Vegas airport (so I wanted something that looked somewhat casual) and I had a professional photographer to take memorable snapshots (so I wanted to look somewhat classy). This Lilly ended up being the perfect blend of those three elements. The mixture of textures and patterns was quite unique and fun, and the front looks sexy in a reserved way (bonus for not having to wear a strapless bra). However, the dress ran a bit smaller than I expected... so it was not optimal for running to meet him at the gate on time. From my pictures, the dress is much shorter than I imagined, too. I'm just happy to have my Captain home safe and sound. This dress will be part of the pictures we can look back at forever!

STUNNING. Absolutely perfect for our glam-meets-desert engagement shoot.
THIS DRESS. Seriously. I had a stark contrast in my vision for an engagement shoot... you know, the typical casual, holding sunflowers and rustic signs in a haystack. Instead, we thought it would be very unique to put a formal twist on the photos and went the formal route in Red Rock Canyon in Las Vegas. At first, I was worried this dress was going to be over the top... but it was PERFECT. When I initially put it on, I felt like a complete glamazon bombshell. It is incredibly comfortable, easy to move in and flattering to any body type (and I didn't even need to get a special bra for the low back)! I have absolutely no butt and it made me look like I had one... again, very figure friendly! It may look flashy, but it is unbelievably classy. Can't say enough good things about this showstopper!

Meh.
It's certainly unique with its suede texture, expandable design and eye-catching color combination. I rented this as my work bag, and it got the job done and can easily fit a laptop and other items of those dimensions (folders, binders, books)... But it has absolutely no structure, no pockets for storing miscellaneous accessories (aside from the little attachment) you might need and kind of limits you to carrying only 8.5"x10"-style things. I liked its daring looks, but it wasn't my favorite.in terms of functionality.

Latch Was a HUGE Pain!
After a day with this bag, I was set on returning it IMMEDIATELY. The clasp is incredibly inconvenient and is difficult to keep shut (or even get the latch through the hole)! Once the clasp opens, the bag kind of drops to the point things are spilling out. And when you want to close it while it's on your shoulder, you're going to have to stop everything you're doing so you can put the purse down to get the latch inserted. I don't know why I kept this purse for so long, but I'm finally sending it back. It's ginormous for an everyday bag and, even though I'm a kitchen sink purse kind of person, it was actually bigger than the Elizabeth and James tote I ordered as my work bag. Beautifully crafted, just poorly designed without convenience in mind.

You couldn't miss me from a mile away!
The lighting in the picture makes this dress appear much less brighter than it truly is! It's more of a watermelon shade. I wore it out to dinner at Lavo in Las Vegas and some evening shopping for bridal shoes at the Grand Canal Shoppes. I loved its two-toned hue and the way the top portion of the dress is designed, but the bottom part made it look like a tent on me in other pictures (I'm pulling it back a bit here). Otherwise, great for any occasion this summer!

I wore this to see Miss Britney Spears for the second time. (And I wore another Parker sequin showstopper for my first time seeing Brit!) Great fit and the sequins aren't uncomfortable whatsoever, nor is the movement of the dress in general... which is of utmost importance when you're dancing to Britney in the very front row! The back of the dress is stunning and showed off just the right amount of skin to contrast the long sleeves and conservative neckline. (Just need a strapless bra.) I'm... a slave 4... this dress!

So big, I had to send it back immediately!
I'm struggling to find a maxi dress for my petite self on here, yet I figured I could get away with one that had a higher front. Nope. His dress was huge in all aspects and dragged behind me at least a foot. Now, I never have trouble filling up a top with my bust... But this dress just engulfed me. It's gorgeous, though. Just not the right size!

What a head-turner!
The model doesn't do this dress justice. It is incredibly sexy on, and it gives you just the right amount of cleavage. I wore this to see Jeff Dunham in Vegas and while I was a bit, ahem, overdressed compared to his crowd, the staring did not cease. We also went to Rose Rabbit Lie at the Cosmopolitan following the show, and it stood out there, too. While it's more of a Gatsby-themed, lounge atmosphere, it fit the eclectic vibe of all who were there. My only gripe is that it kept bunching up in the middle and I had to pull it down all night. Otherwise, very flattering and fun!

HUGE. Incredibly long for a tiny person like me. But gorgeous.
I absolutely loved this dress. It is stunning. Seriously. But, even in 6-inch heels, it was still about a foot too long for me! And it was far too large. I traded it in for another unlimited item, but I would've just held it up had I paid for the rental. If you're not a runt like me, you will not regret renting this dress for a vacation, night out, summer wedding or anything like that!

Wore this to find my dream wedding dress!
The only reason I'm giving this one four stars is because the photo is a bit misleading. The skirt material is quite casual, as is the neoprene-style front. I fit into it fine, though I had some troubles with the zipper and found it to be slightly stiff. I had some bra bulge in the back, so there's no give at all. I would recommend this for a more casual, yet classy, event due to the materials. It's not as formal as it looks. But it brought me luck in finding my dream wedding dress and paired nicely with some black wedges, so I can't really complain!

Very classy, but lots of cleavage...
My fiancé and I had recently let the cat out of the bag on our engagement, but had no photos of us together. We wore this for an evening out in Vegas that included a nice dinner and a matinee of the Michael Jackson show at Mandalay Bay, so you could easily dress it up or down. Though the model image looks like it's not too revealing, I felt my cleavage was like BAM. I had to adjust to make sure I wasn't popping out in some pics! Otherwise, totally enjoyed it. And it was brand new with the tags on!

Stood out all night!
I said it fit true to size, but it is a tad large. I liked the fit, though, as it was incredibly flattering and didn't add an excess of cleavage. It hit right about at my knees or a bit below, but it was still a super sexy dress. Loved it! Will rent this designer again for a classy affair.

Legs for days!
I had an RTR fitting session in Vegas for a few upcoming events and took my boyfriend along so he could hit the casino while I tried stuff on. We ended up deciding to make a little staycation out of it at the Cosmo in the process, so I got this little number for an evening playing blackjack and a nice dinner at Blue Ribbon Sushi. I found the fit to be super flattering, especially with the color. It's classy, yet very sexy at the same time. I paired it with nude pumps and my legs looked SO long and toned. Lots of stares and compliments! I don't know how well this romper would work for taller girls, though. It was quite short on me, even at 5'1. When I sat down at the blackjack tables, I felt like my butt cheeks were almost exposed on the chair!! But I already know I will rent this again... it's perfect for a fun date night!

Classy, yet sassy!
I rented this dress and another Elizabeth and James for a weekend with family in Vegas (I live here.) While we weren't seeing any shows on this particular evening, I wore it for dinner, some gambling and walking around on the Strip. As with the other E&J I rented, I opted for the 2 in place of my normal 0 - but I probably could've worn a 4 in this one and felt a bit more comfortable. The 2 zipped just fine and I didn't feel stuffed into it, but this dress is not stretchy like a lot of others you'll find on RTR. Loved the look overall, though!

Everyone was staring!
I decided to rent this and another Elizabeth and James for a few fun nights we had planned in Vegas while my mom was here for a visit (I'm a local). I wore this the night we saw 'O' at the Bellagio. I mean this in the absolute least conceited way possible, but EVERYONE was staring as we walked through the casino... this dress is unbelievably classy and sexy at the same time. I have rented more than 10 RTRs now, and I think this is likely the one that got the most compliments (this or the Nha Khanh Noir Timeless Love gown). I find this brand to run small (as have other reviewers), so I wore the 2 in both E&J dresses I rented for the weekend in lieu of my normal 0. Be careful with bras, mine kept sliding down and into the cutouts (as you can probably see in the pictures). Two thumbs up!

I wore this stunner to see the one and only Miss B Spears in Vegas, and I was not disappointed! It was totally comfy and stretchy, so I never felt constricted or uncomfortable while I was dancing away in the front row. I wore a strapless bra, and I had no issues with it sticking out of the arm holes. It's definitely a head-turner, so I probably wouldn't wear it again unless it was for a flashy occasion such as this!

So Comfy, So Classy!
I've never felt more stunning! Not only is this dress absolutely gorgeous and flattering, it's extremely comfortable, too. It's not rigid whatsoever, and I didn't have any problems with my large bust. Bonus: You can even wear a normal bra! I did find myself tripping over the tulle at the bottom a bit, so I'd say ladies of my height would want to wear at least 5" heels. This is my favorite RTR style so far!

I loved everything about this dress! So classy!
I wore this for a friend's wedding and it was a huge hit! I rented both the 0 and the 2, but the 0 fit wonderfully size- and length-wise. The fabric is super forgiving and comfortable for a long night of dancing and drinks, and the gold-flecked cross pattern is really flattering, too. I didn't have any issues with the bust area and was able to wear a regular bra without the straps falling out. I wore black strappy heels and paired it with the DVF Royal Leopard Clutch - the combo went together perfectly! Thanks for another great experience, RTR!

Perfect look for a Memorial Day weekend wedding!
I really loved wearing this dress. I got a ton of compliments! It was in great condition and fit me perfectly - the thicker fabric with its heavy embroidery makes it forgiving and flattering, and it was very comfortable to dance in at the wedding all night. The length was great for me at 5'2", but I can imagine it would be VERY short for anyone much taller! The only issue I had was with the fit around the arm openings - there was still quite a bit of a gap that exposed my bra (even with a larger bust to fill the area up). I also had to keep tucking my bra straps back in throughout the evening, but that was my fault for not bringing a racerback bra. I paired the dress with nude pumps, simple gold jewelry and the Kate Spade owl purse I rented!
