Very flattering!
I rented this dress for a fall wedding and was 35 weeks pregnant. My measurements: 39" chest, 40" waist, 41" waist. The 42L fit tighter across the hips but was also very flattering. I chose the 44L to be more conservative. I only gave four stars because the seams of the back cage design are in bad shape on both sizes. It wasn't bad enough to return them but it wasn't as polished as I normally like to dress. That said, it was a great dress for the occasion and weather (70 high, 45 low), and was incredibly comfortable.

So flattering!
The dress really showed off the bump and skimmed my hips and legs. I could not have been happier with this rental. I thought I'd be a 42 from the reviews, but that size was unavailable so I ordered a 40 and a 44. The 44 was big and the 40 fit perfectly. Before pregnancy, I was a size 6 with bra size 34C, a 28" waist, and 40" at the widest point of my hips/butt. During pregnancy, I'm a 34D with a 36" waist and 40" hips.

Good option for clip-on earrings.
These earrings were pretty, had enough sparkle to complement my face and outfit, and they didn't look cheap. Unfortunately, one side is padded but the other side is ribbed metal, and it was so uncomfortable I had to take them off after five hours. If you intend to wear the earrings for a significant period of time, keep looking.

Unique, beautiful dress
The dress I had originally chosen arrived damaged, so I went to the RTR store in Georgetown to find a replacement. It isn't my size or usual style, but decided to try it on anyway and I'm so glad I did. I'm not usually a fan of anything midriff, but in this dress it's relatively conservative and very tasteful. My measurements are 36-28-40 (140 pounds) and the 10L was a bit loose, but very comfortable for dancing. I'm 5'7" and the dress was the perfect length with 3.5" heels. I wore another Marchesa gown the following night in a size 6L, which was snug in the shoulders but still looked great and fit because it was sleeveless. A standard strapless bra worked great. I loved wearing this dress and felt wonderful all evening.

Pretty, versatile dress - from work to plane to dinner!
I rented this dress to transition from a Friday morning at the office to a dinner with friends on vacation in spring. It worked beautifully since I tend to get cold in planes and restaurants. I got a ton of complements--even from complete strangers. In most modern designers, I am a 6 or 8, with a 36" bust, 28-29" waist, and 40" hips/butt. I have two DVF dresses, so I know that her line runs small (or less ego-boosting, depending on your point of view). Just don't think about the number once you put it on, because the woman knows how to cut a dress.

Elegant, unique statement necklace
I loved this necklace - it was different, photographed well, and didn't look cheap. I wore this to my brother's wedding, and my aunt (who wears really expensive jewelry) thought it was the real thing. I got compliments galore, and it complimented my dress really well (navy with gold and silver metallic appliques). The only downside is that while dancing, one of the pieces kept twisting out of place. It was an easy enough fix.

Pretty earrings, but not worth the pain.
These earrings were my mystery bling. They worked well with my other gold jewelry and weren't ostentatious. It was nice having a little glimmer come through my hair (I wore my hair down). The earrings were not my favorite, but they weren't terrible--even for being a clip-on. I'm not sure if they were rented so much that the cushion came off, but after six hours of wearing them, I was dying to take them off. They actually made my ears raw and the imprint lasted for another 24 hours.

My favorite rental! An elegant Jessica Rabbit.
From the sexy slit in the swish-y, feminine skirt to the bold, brilliant red satin, there is nothing bad I can say about this dress. I wish I could own it and I will definitely be renting this again and again. I got a ton of compliments from both men and women. I do caution you to wear a plunge-style bra, or at least one that doesn't have a lot of material near the center; otherwise, you might see the bra if you bend over. I rented this dress in teal the year before and loved the fit. Since then, I toned up my torso and went down a size and the proportions are still spot on.

Great color!
I loved wearing this dress! It is rather conservative, but the fit in the torso and the flow of the skirt is incredibly flattering. I would definitely rent this dress again in this or any other bold color. I was actually in between the 6L and the 8L. The 6L zipped up (barely) but I just couldn't move without the possibility of it ripping. By three in the morning, that extra bit of space in the 8L was oh-so-helpful as I got a second plate of breakfast.

Odd proportions.
I tried the 6R in the Georgetown store, and it fit really well in the torso, and made my derriere look great. It's a beautiful cobalt blue. It was just a few inches too short for me at 5'7". I ordered the 6L thinking the only thing that would change is the length of the skirt, but that wasn't the case. The whole dress - neckline, arm holes, waist line, and skirt - got larger. I'm sure that someone who is 5'10" would appreciate that, but on me it looked poorly tailored.

Festive, flattering, and elegant.
This was a very festive, very flattering, very comfortable dress. I received many compliments from both men and women. The sequins didn't bother me at all, and I wore this dress for many hours. I was in between sizes - but I suspect it would be true to size on someone who isn't pear shaped. The 6L fit well in the torso but was a little tight in the hips (I do have a large butt - 40 inches); the sequins looked weird with the way it stretched. The 8L was a touch longer than the 6L, and was a touch too big in the torso (36 inch bust). These are minor issues - the dress looked great and I was so happy to wear it.

I loved, loved, loved this dress!!!
I cannot say enough positive things about this dress. This fit me like a glove in the torso and swayed beautifully when I walked and on the dance floor. The color is beautiful and I loved the contrasting satin and matte finish in the skirt of the dress. The notched neckline doesn't show a bra, even though I wore a full-coverage bra. The slit up the front is just sexy enough without showing all the goods. I wore 3 inch heels and the skirt was just a half inch above the floor. When I wore the dress, I weighed 142 pounds, with a 36-inch bust, 29-inch waist, and 40-inch hips.

Great sparkle!
I loved these earrings - they aren't too heavy, they don't look cheap, and they add just the right amount of sparkle to brighten your face. I will definitely rent them again if they're available for my next formal event. Unfortunately, I don't have a close-up photo with the earrings.

So pretty!
It's a beautiful cocktail dress for the fall or winter. Unfortunately, I took a gamble (and lost) by ordering the size 6 because my usual size (8) was unavailable. I barely got it on, but it would have been too uncomfortable to do anything but stand completely still the whole night. Even so, I could tell that if I had a size 8 it would have fit like a glove. If I need a dress for a similar event in the future and my size is available, I will definitely order it!

The top was tight and the skirt was HUGE.
The skirt on the model looks voluminous, but not as gigantic and disproportionate as it did on me. I am pear shaped, and I love an A-line skirt as much as the next girl, but my hips are not big enough to warrant that much fabric covering them up. As other reviewers mentioned, it is really tight in the rib cage - so much so that I had a hard time zipping it up and couldn't really breathe once I did. I also didn't look closely enough at the embellishment around the neckline, which looks somewhat cheap - certainly not as elegant as I had hoped. In short, keep looking for another dress.

Fits like a glove... a very sexy glove.
Like other reviewers said, the fabric is a bit heavy, but it's necessary for the drape and swing of the skirt. Also, I wore this in August and wasn't the slightest bit uncomfortable. I did not need to wear a bra, but if you're smaller than a B cup, you may need to wear a padded bra. It's a great dress - you won't be disappointed. In sum, my boyfriend and I loved it so much I bought it.

Very flattering!
I wore this dress for my birthday dinner at a nice restaurant. I could not wear a bra, but support wasn't an issue since the dress has interior boning/corseting. It was a bit snug at the end of the meal, so I wouldn't recommend this dress if you plan on eating more than three courses. It was just a touch scratchy from the metallic lace, so you may want to consider a different dress if you have super sensitive skin. As for styling, I kept the accessories pretty simple so they didn't compete with the dress. I wore a single-strand pearl necklace, a pearl cocktail ring, and a nude quilted clutch with gold chain.

Absolutely Stunning
I wore this dress to dinner to celebrate an anniversary. The dress is beautiful and flattering. Some reviewers stated the dress had more gold than silver; it does not have any gold - it is all white and silver lace with a nude lining. I have more of an olive complexion, so gold would have been better but it still looked great. I rented crystal earrings but ended up not wearing them because they were so large and gaudy. I wore a large pearl cocktail ring and a single-strand pearl necklace, which was just enough bling to compliment, but not overpower, the dress. I agree with other reviewers that it would have been perfect for a bridal shower or bachelorette dinner party. It was a little tight in the chest, but somehow the dress also de-emphasized that area. I would not recommend the dress for women who are bigger than a C cup. Fair warning: you must wear nude undergarments with this dress.

Ostentatious.
I don't have a picture because I never wore the earrings. Although they would have gone with the dress I wore, So Delicate by Erin Fetherston, because it had silver lace overlay, the earrings were just too much. The size of the clip was enormous - almost as large as the top crystal - and too visible from the front. If you're only worried about looking good from the side, then these earrings are for you. If you want to look good from all angles, pick another set of earrings.

Perfect for New Year's Eve!
Style: It is a stunning dress. It is a rose gold, but when the light hits it at certain angles it looks silver; that limited my clutch choice. I wore the Oscar de la Renta Etoile earrings, which are a perfect fit for my skin tone and went with the dress perfectly. I wore a large pearl cocktail ring I own, along with a fur coat. I had complete strangers walk up to me to tell me how gorgeous I looked in the dress. Fit: I wore four inch heels and the dress grazed the floor (like the model). The heels are rose gold evening sandals, so they paired well together, but they are a glitter rope design so they kept tugging the hem of the dress. I ended up lifting the dress to walk long distances or up and down stairs. It runs large in the chest and if I bent over, one could see my bra. I put a stitch at the seam where the two panels met at the breast plate, and it solved the problem. It was fitted at the waist, but not tight. There is plenty of room in the hip area.

Perfect dress for a summer wedding!
This was a beautiful dress - I got a lot of compliments (and double-takes!) from friends, family and strangers. As I was walking to a bar around the corner from the reception hall, a lady having dinner outside mouthed "I LOVE your dress!" when I passed her table. The pockets were great for keeping my phone handy on the dance floor. The dress is not iridescent and the lining is tan, but it worked perfectly with my skin tone and my accessories (all gold). I had my toes painted in OPI's "Cajun Spice" and it matched the dress really well. Fair warning: this dress hiked pretty far up my legs when I sat down, so if you have a lot of weight in your thighs you might not be able to move much as most of the volume is in the hips. I will also say the dress pinches the fat between your chest and arms, but maintaining perfect posture corrects most of it. That said, I still give the dress a five-star rating. The dress arrived at my hotel in perfect condition and on time, so I have nothing but positive things to say about the entire RTR experience.
