The skirt of the dress is a Jersey material and was not what I expected at all. Unfortunately due to a funeral, I wasn't home the day it arrived and didn't get to try it on until the day of the event. We were attending a Gala with many of my Hubby's coworkers and meeting many City and State officials so the dress was super important. When I tried the dress on and saw the material of the shirt, I knew there was no way the dress would be appropriate for the gala we were attending. I am so sad bc this was the only time I've had an issue with a Rent the Runway order. I wish I would have known the material was not what it looks like in the picture. No way I would say this dress is appropriate for a black tie event!!!
