got so many compliments on this dress. the front alone is beautiful and understated, then you turn around and the back is such a classy funky surprise. felt like this was a chic, elegant spin on the lbd. event was an early evening summer (family) wedding. paired with bright teal tassel bead earrings from rocksbox + maroon michael kors heels. i am normally a size 8, but was glad my backup size was a 6, as it made the lace fit tighter. if there are any cons to this dress, it was that my normal size (8) looked a little messy with the lace edging too loose around the back and shoulders. would recommend sizing down for your backup.

i had my eye on this dress for a while and thought it would be too 'blah' - i was way wrong, this was absolutely gorgeous! i'm so glad i went with it. i fit into the 6p and it fit well until i tried to zip it the rest of the way up- i would recommend your backup size being a size up just in case. the zipper was tight for me but only around the middle of the back, eventually i got it to zip and it was fine. fabric at the bottom is heavy so it hangs well, and the length was perfect for me in petite. it's elegant, gorgeous, and funky in the back which i loved. i also appreciated the high neck, not too revealing. i wore the "super strapless adhesive" bra, found at target. i would not recommend this for a summer wedding because it's so heavy, but it was perfect for my event- a black tie evening wedding in march. i'd highly recommend this dress & rtr! paired it with fun, funky gold beaded earrings from rocks box.

when i first saw it i was surprised to see that it was more black than navy (for some reason i thought it would be navy), and the fabric was pretty thin. because of the thin fabric it was not flattering on me at all and was super tight throughout. definitely size up 1-2 sizes! the event was a black tie wedding (evening). this would have been fine for it, but just looked "meh". i didn't end up wearing it, instead went with the badgley mischka louisa gown which was much easier to wear.

Dress is stunning and easy to wear. Thick fabric, would definitely wear again. Ultimately chose a second style I had ordered from RTR for this event (black tie eve wedding) because I loved it more, but this one was top quality and much more 'wow' than I anticipated.

i am a believer. i was such a skeptic before trying RTR, worried i had no idea what size would work for me since i recently had a baby. all of the reviews were spot-on (thanks ladies!) i am around 5'3" and can never find dresses that fit me well, they are always too long. i went with an 8p which fit really well. i used the stick-on backless, strapless bra (grabbed it at target for around $20) and felt so confident in this dress. worn for a black tie wedding that my husband was in, so i needed something fancy yet comfortable enough to dance all night in. i absolutely recommend RTR and loved that this dress was understated, simple, but so beautiful. it hangs very well because of the thick fabric, and was comfortable enough for dancing for hours. love love love this service.
