Love this chic twist on a LBD. I'm normally a 6 and both the 6 and 8 worked. The armhole on the one side cut down a tiny bit too far, so I just used double sided tape to ensure my bra didn't show. Definitely possible to wear no bra with this though.

Love love love. The fit was snug but in the best way and no Spanx necessary. Definitely size up- I am a 6 and it was too small but the 8 was perfect. Also, if you sweat a lot like me (hah) it's perfect due to the liner and quality material...it didn't show a thing. If you're larger chested you do have to be careful about the top portion and side spillage, which I had a little bit of at times if I didn't adjust. But so happy with this rental. I got so many compliments on the dress, even afterwards on Instagram!

Almost perfect!
Perfect for a black tie optional wedding. Sophisticated and classy while having fun cutouts on the side. The fit was good but not QUITE perfect...felt like it was slightly tight around the chest and ribcage so if you're any bigger than a D cup just be mindful with sizing. I sized down for backup as recommended but there's no way it would have zipped up. I felt great in it though. Overall a success!

Perfect, so flattering
I rented this for a September black tie optional wedding. I thought it was the perfect level of formality, with the rich textured fabric and longer-than-typical-cocktail-but-not-gown length. Fit was amazing. When eyeballing the dress and even after trying on the 42, I was sure that would be the size I'd wear. I'm a 6 normally. But I tried on the 40 for kicks and it actually fit even better- the fabric has a little give and it was very figure flattering while keeping everything "in place." Would recommend a bra because the material isn't the smoothest on the skin, but I was comfortable since I had a strapless on (could maybe even do straps). The bow detail on the shoulder is so cute and I wish I let it show in the picture! My only complaint is that the small slit on the right leg was already ripped slightly when I got it and it ripped a little bit further later in the night. Wasn't a huge issue though. Overall highly highly recommend!

Loved it!
I wore this for a very early fall wedding. So early, in fact, that it was still 90 degrees in NYC. But the fabric held up despite my anxious sweating...no embarrassing marks or anything. Which I was nervous about because a few droplets of condensation from my glass showed a lot on the outside. Haha anyways, the dress was gorgeous. Such a pretty deep purpley-blue color and it draped perfectly right out of the bag. Extra star because the smaller backup size fit! Jk. But not jk about sizing down- this runs a little big. It was definitely on the shorter side too, and I'm only 5'6" so if you're much taller just be careful. I would rent this brand again...quality dress.

Liked, not quite loved
This is a very cute spring dress. I wore this for a derby party and I wanted something fun and bright. This dress was exactly that! I didn't 100% love the dress though because the textured pattern appears more wrinkly than textured. I even tried steaming it but that is just the dress's appearance. I would not have been happy wearing this had it been for a wedding or something more formal. Thankfully it was for a grad school theme party in a dark club, hah! Got plenty of compliments and I had a lot of fun wearing it. It does run small, I had to size up to 8 from my usual 6.

Beautiful formal dress. Lacy in a sexy not frumpy way.
True to size EXCEPT the length. It's short. I needed a long and I'm just under 5'6"...don't think this would work for a very tall person. But overall I recommend this dress for any formal event. The lace and open detail in the back are beautiful. Color is a gorgeous navy as a change of pace from black.

Pretty color but disappointing
I was disappointed in this dress--but thankfully it was my backup dress! I really wanted to like it...it is SUCH a pretty pink, and the gathering in the front is really pretty too. Something about it just didn't work for me...it didn't quite hang right, and the chest just didn't fit right at all. It could be that it's just not good for my body type, but I wanted to share my experience anyways. I did find that it ran true to size. I rented both the UK 8/US 4 and the UK 10/US 6. The one that fit me better was the UK 8/ US 4, which is usually my size, and it mostly fit except for in the chest. It just may not be made for a fuller bust. I do think it would be really pretty on girls that are curvier overall though. Anyways, even though I didn't end up wearing it, hope this is helpful!

Loved this dress!
I rented this dress for a formal birthday dinner. Loved it! I expected it to run small based on some of the reviews, and it did, although not as much as I was expecting. I am a 4 or occasionally a 6, and the M worked well. The L was not available as a back up size so I was worried, but it all worked out--I think the L would have been too big as this is meant to be a form fitting dress. It was tough to zip up, but as some of the other reviews mention it will zip up just fine with some help. My boyfriend helped zip me up, although I couldn't wear a bra with it. If you are bigger than a C or a D you may not be able to wear a bra either. I was comfortable with this though because there was enough material and detail around the chest that you absolutely couldn't tell. The only other reason I am giving this 4 and not 5 stars is because some of the pleats didn't fall quite how I wanted them to--but this was straight out of the bag and to be honest I didn't take the time to steam or iron (and now I wish I had at least steamed the bottom from the looks of it!) Overall I was happy, thought the fit was flattering, and the color was beautiful (looks a little darker in my pic because of the lighting). Definitely recommend!

Amazing take on the LBD
I rented this for my birthday dinner at a formal restaurant. Absolutely. Loved. It. It was so incredibly flattering, and sexy while still being classy. My boyfriend loved it, and he doesn't usually like ruffles. The off the shoulder ruffle detail thing is beautiful and lay perfectly...and it makes it a very unique LBD. I'd say this dress is pretty true to size, but might run a tiny bit small. So if you are between sizes, pick the larger size (I'm normally between a 4 and a 6 and I wore the 6). I love this dress so much that I recently searched for it at a RTR sample sale...no luck though :( Anyways, definitely rent this dress!!!
