Overall odd fit
The sweater wasn't soft like I expected and was made with more of a tough knit. It's not a horrible top, but the ribbing on the bottom creates a muffin top effect - and I say this as someone who's a size 2. I was going to wear this to work but don't think I'd feel good enough in it. Feels slubbish and unflattering

More formal than expected, but a showstopper once on!
I rented this for my office holiday party, but ended up deciding to wear something else because this was too formal than I thought it would be. The sleeves are black lace and get wider toward the wrist/hand; I felt a little bit like Morticia Addams. It can also be too low cut for ladies with smaller chests (me), so it looked to sexy to be appropriate for THAT (professional) kind of party.

Subtle sparkles + pretty mix of prints makes for the perfect office holiday party.
I rented this for a couple office holiday parties and felt so pretty and simple. I didn't realize that it had a subtle sparkle effect to the light purple dominant fabric, but was pleasantly surprised! The back has a keyhole opening, which added to the whole pretty/dainty/flowy effect of the dress.

Chunky turtleneck, good for holiday
I'm ambivalent about this piece--its oversized fit is fun, but the color is a little too holiday-y for other times of year, and the fabric is HOT. Like, you will sweat. Also, the extra-long sleeves made me "look like Squidward," according to my boyfriend.

Rented these for Thanksgiving + to wear to work the following week
I like that these are a nice mix of subtly formal enough to wear to the office, with its jacquard print/material, but also strangely (in a good way) androgynous. I liked them better when I paired them with a high neck, creme-colored knit sweater to offset the jacquard, with loafers to up the androgyny. Frankly, I just felt cool and laidback yet adventurous. For the cons, it was admittedly hard to match and they looked a little long/overwhelming on my small frame.

Very classy and subtle top for work, nightlife, everyday
No complaints here--the cut of this top is so classy in the front, and the slit in the back is just subtle enough to wear comfortably in a professional setting. Material is lightweight and feminine. Loved it!

Super cool, mod dress for the office
This is the dress that inspired me to sign up RTR unlimited--so chic and different than my usual office wear. I wore this with black tights and black heeled ankle boots, and received more compliments than I ever had from a RTR outfit. My only complaint is that the fit gets a little weird around the hips. This dress was not made for people with wide hips or a curvy bum, unfortunately. It bunched a lot and the pockets wouldn't stay in the dress well.

Cute and simple, work it to work.
I got the smallest size possible and still found it be too loose around the waist to fit the way I wanted it to. I vary from a size 0-4, usually a 2. I ordered a 0 and was hoping the skirt would sit just above my belly button (high-waisted!), but it ended up being an awkward in-between, so I used a belt to cinch it higher. The material was also surprisingly thin and sheer--cheap-feeling. Not the quality I was expecting from RTR, but got the job done.

Work to work with knee-high black rain boots for a subtle sixties effect
Got a lot of compliments on this dress! It's longer on than on the model in the picture (almost knee-length for me, but I'm 5'4"), but otherwise it fits very well. The bell sleeves were a fun detail, and the embroidery on the sleeves and hem were pretty, intricate and well sewn (obviously). It's not the most versatile dress regarding shoes, accessories, etc., but well worth it as a fun novelty piece. Also--very thick material, so don't wear this on a warm day like I did!

Wore earrings for extra sparkle in my work staff photo
I'm obsessed with these. They're boho, but not so much that I walk around feeling like Jessa from "Girls." I just felt pretty wearing them--they're big, but the colors aren't overbearing so it's a fairly subtle effect.

Feels like wearing pajamas, but looks way better.
So comfy and cute, and the culotte/gaucho-style cut of the leg makes this jumpsuit a little more interesting than others. It is a little big around the waist, so I felt like I had to cinch it to look more polished, but otherwise, it has a nice, almost kimono-effect.

Wore to work with tights and was surprisingly professional.
I rented this thinking I would wear it with a pair of black and white leather vans, but because it runs so big in the shoulders and little shorter in the leg, it honestly looked like I just forgot to put pants on. But for work, I wore it with black tights, heeled black booties, and a shorter necklace that fit with the collar. I got a surprising number of compliments and felt super comfy. Additionally, the lining is super breathable, so I wasn't sweating like I normally would in a sweatshirt. And the back of the dress was my absolute favorite--very minimalist, with a flap/cut across the shoulders.

Wore to work, but then to a series of dance performances that night.
Definitely a body-hugger--so I looked and felt sexy--but I struggled to find accessories and shoes to pair with it to make it less librarian and more playful.

Long, so can look formal. Best for very thin frames.
As a shift, the shape of this dress can be troubling for anyone who doesn't look like Taylor Swift. I have her boyish frame, but not her height, so this ended up looking a little more formal on me than preferred due to how long it ended up being (mid-shin). To dress it down, I put my hair up in a messy braided bun and wore brown flat sandals. It was so light and pretty to wear, so I made sure to get 2-3 wears out of it, but it's definitely trickier than my usual dress.

Was expecting this to be too sexy for work--total opposite, but in the best way.
I felt like Audrey Hepburn, and ended up keeping this piece for another week. I really thought this would be a one-and-done kind of outfit, but it was so classy. The photo does the colors zero justice. The dress is actually a very light pink, and the collar looks really modern in the way the sleeves/shoulders are slightly winged. The dress was also (thankfully) long enough to feel completely professional for work. If this wasn't a million dollars, I would totally buy it.

Just wore them to work! Very cute and polished, but hard to pair with tops.
Wore these to work--really interesting with the origami-like front pleating/folds, so these were an attention-getter that tended to draw both questions and compliments. The only fault is that I had trouble finding many tops to pair with them, since it's very easy to cross the line into sailor territory. My goal was to let the culottes do the talking by pairing them with something simple and neutral-colored that would still work the proportions of the culottes.

I just wore it to work, so not very unforgettable!
I wore the skirt with a black higher-neck cropped tank and black strappy sandals, and it was a good way to tone down/let the skirt's colors do all the work. Later, I added a dark salmon-ish long vest over it, which made the proportions of the long skirt + cropped top more interesting. Overall, the skirt was light and comfortable and I felt fun wearing it!

Very cute summer dress for work--bottom detail is the best part.
I have to admit--this was my first DVF dress and I definitely had to google how to wrap it onto my body. But that was one of the best parts because it fit my shape super well due its wrap nature (this sounds obvious, but it was new to me, OK?). I felt it was perfect for a summer day in my office because of the lightwash chambray (?), but the more conservative silhouette. Not a total wow-moment kind of dress, but definitely felt cute when wearing it.

Wear this with white skinny jeans and heals--you won't regret it.
I wore this to work and, like usual with RTR, received so many compliments. I paired it with very light grey skinny jeans (almost white / not tucked in) and slightly heeled black strappy sandals, with my hair in a tight, high bun, and no makeup. My coworkers said I looked really chic. I especially liked the boxy shape with the more relaxed draping/dart detail in the front by the V-collar. I've been looking for a modern, minimalist white top for a while, so I'm very pleased with how great this one was.

Wore the dress to work and on the weekends -- so fun and received tons of compliments!
I *loved* this dress. Its pattern is interesting and fun, the fabric lightweight and the shape beautiful. I wore it to work and on the weekend, and it was easily made casual by pairing it with brown strappy sandals (slight heel) and a high ponytail. If getting compliments matters to you, you'll like this dress even more. It's a crowdpleaser, and I would totally buy it if I could afford it.
