Pretty dress but not for me
The color was exactly what I expected. However, the fit was just really unflattering for my body.

Weird Fit
Maybe it's just my body type and the color of my skin (tanned) but this dress didn't do me any favors. Changed it to another Elizabeth and James and it was much better!

Killer Dress
Such a fun dress. All the reviews were right. It's tight but the material is thick so it looks classy and expensive. The slit is EVERYTHING. I'm normally at 0.2 but listened to everyone else and sized up to a 4 to feel a bit more comfortable. Spanx is your best friend just to smooth everything out.

God this dress was gorgeous. I wore this to a black tie event and got compliments all night.
One of the few dresses were the black is as equally as gorgeous as the front. Size was accurate in that I knew the formal dresses run smaller than commercial sizes. I got the 2 to give me more length as I like wearing high heels. The dress may feel heavy if you have never worn a quality formal dress before. This is what quality feels like! Some people were surprised that the front was shorter than the back. That's so people can check out the shoes and pedicures ladies! So FYI so you can get that planned out!
