This dress is so adorable but was wayyy too short for me to wear (if I wanted to be able to move at all). I’m 5’6”. Loved it so much though was so upset not to be able to wear it!

I am usually a size 4 in most designer dresses, sometimes a 6. But I could barely get the Size 6 zipped (I could get it zipped but it resulted a in a little of a back-butt which is never cute!! I probably could've flattened it out & made it work but I just didn't love the dress as much as I thought I would & decided not to wear it). The details on this dress are beautiful but I kind of felt old in it. My husband liked it (but don't men always like a tight dress?! LOL). But my girlfriends thought it was just Eh. I have a small bust (size 34B) so if you are big on top I would definitely size up. Just to give you context or comparisons of my size in other popular RTR designers: In 'Red Valentino' I am usually a 2 or 4. Shoshanna usually a 4. Monique Lulliher size 4. In SM/M/L sizing I am usually a size Small especially in tops. But like I said in this dress I could barely get the 6 zippered & I have a small bust (size 34B). If I was going to order this again I would still order the 6 & try to make it work but would definitely get the Size 8 as a backup size to try.

I'm so upset as I thought I would love this dress. And it arrived with the tags on (brand new!!). Let's start with the positive...It is a pretty fabric & cute style. The style is right up my alley in theory (I love off the shoulder dresses & love/live in flowy/comfy dresses!!). But this just made me look very frumpy. The length is also too long for my taste (hits just at/slightly above the knee & I am 5'6"). I think it would be cute for someone "older" & looking to be cute while conservative. I rented a S, maybe an XS would work better (since the off the shoulder part is very stretchy it would be hard for it not to fit). I'm not really an XS at all but maybe the XS would have less material so maybe I would try that again in the future but I'm just not sure it would matter :-(

Really cute dress. It's not as stretchy as it looks on the top. It does have a zipper all the way up to the top of the dress so if you have a bigger bust size you may definitely want to size up. I wore the 4R & it was a little tough to zip on me (I'm only 34B). I thought it looked more of a white color in the RTR pictures but it's a true lavender color. This dress can be dressed down or dressed up.
