One of my most stylish RTR rentals ever!
I’ve been renting with RTR for well over a decade and this was by far one of my favorite rentals, and that’s really saying something. Paired with the leather pants, Valentino heels, and a light gold multi circle necklace and earrings, it was a hit in every room. People stopped me on the streets to complement this top! Some people said this top runs small but that was not my experience. Hope this is helpful! 💛

As Comfortable as it is Stylish

RTR Ambassador Review - Three layers of flouncy fun!
This dress was flirty and fun, but not immature. That’s the only way I can describe it. At 56 I was wondering if I’d look “girlier” than I’d like in it. However, the dress was as well made as it was cute. It has a slip, tulle, and fabric skirt. The bodice is very forgiving with its elastic and structured bust. I used a small belt for a bit more definition. I’m a C+ cup and it fit well. @lesliemaxie88 thinks you’re going to look fantastic RTR sister! 💚

RTR Ambassador Review - Just OK and Super Overpriced
Being able to wear something that’s overpriced is one of the RTR perks. However, at least be cute and/or luxurious. This was neither. It could not have been more basic, lest they put effort into it. In the real world, there’s NO WAY I would pay $75 for these shorts, let alone $275. You can pass and feel no pain on these—and it’s partner top. 🫤

This dress is going to test your ironing chops 😩. However, it’s pretty much worth it! It must’ve taken me 30 minutes to iron this dress… But I couldn’t go 30 feet without someone stopping me to compliment me on how stunning the dress is. It’s comfortable, and easy to wear, once you get past the initial shock and awe of the ironing it will require. I say go for it. ✅ I hope that’s helpful. 💛

The key this dress not looking like a tent, is wearing a great bra and shaper. This helps the dress to fall evenly. It is very well made. Cute and edgy, multilayered dress. The mesh is on-trend. However, I felt like my girls were bound with an ace-bandage. I even took a pic and sent it to my fashion guru before I wore it. She said she couldn’t tell until I said something. I’m a 36 C. If you’re my size or larger, just don’t chance it. If you’re smaller you’ve got a winner! Hope this helps.

When I first tried this on, I was so-so on it. However, it grew on me, fast. The key was the thick belt. The pattern of the skirt with the top was too much. The belt really broke it up and slimmed my waist in the process. I believe, this diet works for most shapes. Enjoy 😉

I was introduced to Rent The Runway when my daughter was 17 years old and she rented a dress for her junior prom. She’s 28 now. Better sizing. So-so replica.
I rented this dress back in 2019. I was a surprised when I saw it was available recently, so I grabbed it. The dress arrived and it’s very different than what I rented in 2019. The cut of the top wasn’t as smooth on the material draping. The fabric is thinner and shinier. While still leaning smallish, the sizing is more accurate and that is a huge win! The first time it was a tight squeeze, to put it mildly. However, don’t get me wrong, it is still a gorgeous dress and it’s going to look GREAT on you!

These pants should have fit but someone hemmed them. They were too short to be intentional and not short enough to be a style. I was about to send them back when a girlfriend who’s a stylist simply suggested cuffing them and wearing strappy sandals. I borrowed my cousins orange Birkin bag, and I was unstoppable! Ta-da! ….You won’t regret it. This jacket is impeccable and the pants take it to a whole other level. This is one of those delicious times when the price is justified by the quality. This dress is #1 in my all time “Stalking” heart list. I saw it on an RTR ad and NEVER EVER saw it available in my Unlimited subscription. Imagine my delight when, out of the blue, it was available AND in MY SIZE!!! That’s a day I should have played Lotto—I felt that lucky. Imagine my dismay when it arrived with only ONE SLEEVE. Ugh, disappointment doesn’t begin to describe how I felt when I realized it. No lie, I considered wearing it with one sleeve! It is a gorgeous dress. It felt so good on. The material is silky when I thought it would feel like cotton. The fit was just right. I felt like a one-armed Goddess. Alas, I opted to send it back. Suffice to say, if you ever come across this beauty (one armed or two) you’ll fall in love. 💛

A Convergence of Culture and Class

If EPIC were a dress….
… It would look, feel, move like this stunner. Knowing is was headed to Dubai, I stalked this dress. I don’t have enough superlatives to describe how fantastic it was to wear it with this gorgeous city as the backdrop. The dress was comfortable and easy to wear. Paired with some Valentino gladiator heels, it was perfection from head to toe. While it is a dress for taller women, please know that you will stopped every few feet when you wear this one-of-a-kind showstopper.

This Review Tears Me Up 😩
Maybe you’re the lucky girl who can wear this practically couture suit successfully! The cut, fabric, and color of the suit are the stuff of fashion dreams 💛. My signature color is yellow. Imagine my joy when this assemble arrived on RTR. My plan was to wear it for my final onstage event of the year. I got the jacket before the pants came on the RTR Unlimited site. I stalked the pants for WEEKS! I could not have been more disappointed when the pants arrived and they had been altered by FOUR INCHES! The alteration job was done so well, I had to measure the pants to confirm they were in fact, shorter than the website description. I worked with the very kind and accommodating RTR customer service team to secure another size 8, but they never became available before my event. In the end, despite LOVING the throwback cut, fabric, and color of the suit, the altered pants were just too short to wear.
