Cool blazer, especially for tall and broad shoulders!
I love this! Note my height (6 ft / 183 cm) and that I am quite broad shouldered, so what was "just right" for me might be a bit too big for more petite women. But it is exasperating to have to constantly get blazers several sizes too big to get around my shoulders or be long enough for my arms; I rarely get blazers from rtr, even though the styles are amazing, because of this. So glad I took a chance on this one, it is a dream! I wore it with shorts for drinks with a hip business acquaintance, and I'm hanging onto it for a casual and cool look with jeans in the office. It's unique and comfortable--I haven't purchased it yet, but I'm tempted to! xx yourbuddythenuge

Sexy but subtle, fun for summer
The cut of the dress is very flattering - great silhouette, short but not butt-revealing (even with my height), and a bit of cleavage but I could still wear a bra. My one complaint is that the way the dress lays sometimes risks showing aforesaid bra, but this could be fixed with a bit of fashion tape... I just kept an eye on it throughout the night! Compliments from men and women alike! It's eye-catching without being showy. xx yourbuddythenuge

Bold and unique, complement magnet!
I never want to send this dress back! I've worn it a couple of times to parties and concerts, and it has been a hit everywhere. It's very comfortable and flattering, without being too over-the-top. The asymmetrical hemline showed just the right amount of leg, even with my height. I wore a bra but didn't need shapewear. Perfect for summer. xx yourbuddythenuge

Rockstar dress! People I met that night *still* mention it.
I wore this dress to a concert in September, and people I met that night still mention it! This was a surprise hit and such a bargain for the rental price. I had strangers -- men and women alike -- complimenting me on it all night. It was perfect for the venue and the show; it had enough of a rock 'n roll edge that I wasn't flamboyantly standing out in a sea of dudes in jeans and black band t-shirts (though I've pulled that "please look at me" move before, haaaaa), but it was still feminine and sexy and unique! I was worried that I might get too hot based on some of the reviews mentioning the heavy material, but I was totally fine throughout the show. And I imagine that I'd appreciate the extra weight even more now that winter has arrived. I ordered the Small with the XS as my backup, and wore the XS. I was worried that I might lose too much length with the XS, but it ended up being fine; that said, the Small looked good too, and I'd rent it if the XS wasn't available. The material is great -- it has some give, but not so much that the dress loses its structure. I'd highly recommend this little gem and I'd like to rent it again!

Another hit by this designer! Just-sexy-enough look with gorgeous details.
This dress is fantastic! I had to order a size up from what I usually wear with this designer (she's one of my favorites) since that was all that was available at the time, which made it even more forgiving. The material is form-fitting but it still moved with me and didn't cling; plus, the fabric draping showed off my curves without looking tacky. It let me show off a bit of cleavage, leg, and booty, but is still conservative enough to wear in most settings (including professional events, first dates, etc.). The color is bright and awesome! I'd get my normal size next time, but even a size up worked out wonderfully.

Stunning - but better as artwork than jewelry for my style
It pains me to give this just 4 stars, but ultimately I liked this necklace more as a work of art than anything I could wear out. I took my picture in natural light to give a better idea of the colors. It has more of a vintage look (muted tones, rather than bright and bold), which is perfect -- as other reviewers have noted, this is a heavy piece, both in weight and in "neck space," and it would have looked tacky otherwise. It's more beautiful in person, as the little details are tough to capture in a photo. My biggest frustration was that I could never get it to lay quite right; I'm not sure if one of the links was slightly off its hinge or something, and it might've just been the design, but I wanted it to be more perfectly symmetrical. Overall, you can dress it up or down with a black dress or tank top, but you can expect it to be the focal point of your outfit.

Business on top, sexy on the bottom (the "mullet" of rompers, ha) - but everyone loved it!
This was an Unlimited order for me, and I almost returned it immediately, since a previous renter had ripped out the inseam on one of the legs. The shorts ARE super short (as you can see from my partially exposed thigh tattoo in the pic), so presumably she was trying to get some extra length, but who does that? Anyway, I decided to repair with fashion tape and wear it around for a day. People went nuts over this thing! The top part is structured just enough to show that you have a waist and is true to size (or maybe a tiny bit big). I'm 6'0, so this can work for tall girls if you're okay with showing some skin on the bottom half. The material is thinner than you might expect. I get so many compliments every time I wear it that I ended up buying it, despite my frustration with the torn inseam. This will be a wardrobe fixture through autumn.

Beautiful spring/summer style... as long as you're under 5'5"!
This dress is perfect for a springtime barbecue or a summer music festival, but it's definitely made for shorter girls only! I'm really tall (6'0 / 183cm), but I love looks that show a lot of leg. Sadly, this dress went a bit too far... if I so much as took a step, my tush would be hanging out! The lacy top layer covers up the "indecent exposure" somewhat, but not enough for me to feel comfortable wearing it. If you are shorter, this will be a hit! It is so comfortable (it actually runs large around the waist and hips IMO; back-up a size down) yet flattering. The material is thin enough that it doesn't add any extra bulk and the lace details are lovely. Four stars because I loved the look even though I couldn't wear it myself.

Edgy and elegant! I didn't take it off the whole weekend.
What a great bargain this necklace was! I ordered it on a whim and it ended up being just perfect. Sometimes "statement necklaces" end up being too much (clunky or overwhelming) for my personal tastes, but this one was the ideal combination of edgy and elegant. Especially the 3-D triangles! I thought they had rocker style, but there was also a surprising look of delicateness to them. I didn't wear any other jewelry with it, so I didn't have to worry about matching shades of gold; but the necklace didn't suffer from that gaudy/tacky/fake look I see with gold jewelry occasionally. I'd highly recommend this piece!

My all-time favorite RTR dress! A total head-turner!
I adore Herve dresses, and I've rented many of his styles from RTR, but THIS is the one I'll always come back to whenever I want to look extra special. Like most Herve dresses, it holds everything in tight and accentuates your curves. My bathroom selfies are pretty true-to-life as far as the dress's color: it's a shade of pink that's bold and bright without being overwhelming, and it's subdued enough to work with my red hair. It seems to work equally well with gold or silver accessories. Best of all for me: I typically feel quite self-conscious when I go braless, but I was totally confident both that I looked "perky" and that nothing would slip out. What a great dress!

A perfect balance of elegant and sexy
This is what a Herve dress should be! It flaunts and accentuates your curves while keeping you sufficiently covered up and held in so that you don't look indecent. I stubbornly tried to wear a bra with it -- and despite the low back, I probably could have if I had someone to help me with the fashion tape -- but please don't be dissuaded by the top of my bra poking out in one of my silly selfies. The material on the dress is thick enough that you won't feel over-exposed if you go braless, and none of my tattoos were visible through the fabric (which often happens with tight, white outfits). This is the first time I've ever thought a Herve runs small! I normally wear the XS, but this time I was happy to have the S as my back-up. It was more comfortable and ended up looking more flattering around my hips. Overall, I was very happy with the dress and would rent it again!

A hit with the guys!
The gals loved it too, of course! But I was actually amused by how many of the men in my life expressed their love for this necklace (most tend not to notice or comment on my accessories or wardrobe). I completely agreed with their compliments -- this is a fantastic piece. I'm generally not a fan of "statement" necklaces, but this one is elegant and simple while still being eye-catching. It was in like-new condition, with no chipping or other visible signs of wear. And it's a bargain! I'd definitely rent it again.

Quintessential Herve - beautiful jewel-toned color and perfect fit.
This dress is exactly what I expect from Herve! The teal color was so rich and pretty; it's a bright shade, but it had a subdued depth to it that made it perfect for a nice evening out. The fit was flawless. It flaunts chest and legs (which is what I like!), but I didn't feel at all over-exposed or like anything would pop out! I was also happy that the fabric was so well-maintained and the dress maintained its structure, despite the fact that other women have worn it before me. The one tragedy: I never got to wear it out! A fluke mechanical failure with the delivery truck meant it didn't arrive on time for my event. RTR's customer service team overnighted me an alternative and told me it was okay to try on the dress when it did arrive to see if it worked. I'm so glad for that -- I am already mulling over what holiday parties or other events are coming up so that I have an excuse to show it off outside of my bedroom!

I think this dress will look amazing on many body types... but mine is not one of them.
The dress itself was made of high-quality and well-maintained fabric. The shade of pink was fantastic; bold, without being obnoxious or tacky. My bedroom selfies don't do it justice. The low back was very cool, but overall I still felt like I was giving off a "sexy politician" vibe, rather than the "rocker chic" look I was hoping for. (It was a last-minute backup choice.) I usually hate going bra-less, but this dress was surprisingly supportive (almost too much so!). I tried it on with and without my NuBra, and it looked exponentially better with it. The dress flattens out everything, including your chest, and the NuBra gave some of that volume back. Ultimately, I felt like the dress was masking my natural curves rather than accentuating them. Also, I'm all about flaunting my chest and legs, and this dress keeps both covered up and minimized. I'm 6 feet tall without heels, and the dress was at my knees. I've seen much shorter women absolutely rock this dress in the other reviews; just know it runs longer and isn't as easy to move in as shorter Herves. I'd still recommend this dress, but I think it's better for very slim women who want to create more curves, or gals who feel like they want to minimize their midsection. Sadly, it wasn't right for me.
