good for work - to blah for a date
I did't wear it. The material is thick and kind of spongy. Even though it fit, it kind of neutralized what little curves I possess. I felt like little orphan annie or something. Totally fine for work but I needed a date dress.

Thick in the middle? 13 courses later - still looked cute
5'2 130lbs and I carry it like a spare tire. This dress was PERFECT. I left the button undone which created a nice deep V and paired with a moto jacket & booties. Length was just right. Not a fit and flare, it's more of a babydoll with a slightly trimmed waist to give it a better shape. We enjoyed a decedent 13 course meal. I was stuffed and never needed to suck it in.

the back
The back of this dress is amazing. It covers those side flaby things and just shows the spine. This was sent to me because something happened to my back up dress (which ran very small). 6 in this style was way too big. The top has boning and the material is thick and a little scratchy. Not right for my hight and body type but a really great dress.

Good, not great
Super comfortable and lovely material. It didn't wrinkle and was work-event appropriate. I did not like how small the arm holes were. I felt like it made my arms look big and i don't have big arms. The rouching seemed to kind of swallow up my curves. That said, it was an inexpensive rental and ate EVERYTHING without worrying haha. It's a good dress.

Perfect "big meeting" dress - great for straight up and down
Wore this to my year end meetings. I got more compliments than I ever imagined. It was difficult to zipper because the waist was small. I definitely had a little blob over the stockings but you cant see it in this style. It was very flattering and sexy in a totally appropriate way.

Ate & Drank all night and never had to suck in
I'm not a very big person but after two kids, I have a little pot belly. Said belly feasted on a 9 course tasting menu in this dress and I was totally comfortable. There was some damage to the dress, some pilling and pulls on one side. I'm guessing someone had a scratchy bracelet on and snagged it all up. But it was not noticeable with the print. Winner.

They were a little worn and they looked like costume jewelry but they were $5. They looked absolutely perfect with my 50's fit & flare dress. UPDATE -I rented again because they were perfect with a classic LBD for a work event. Wish I owned them!

Order TWO sizes up
I'm barely a B and this was insanely tight. I'm a 2/4. The 4 fit but was to0 uncomfortable for a 9 course tasting menu. It was, however, PERFECT in every other way. I felt like a hottie from Mad Men. It cinched my waist in and the color did spectacular things to my untanned olive skin (I tend to look yellow and this dress made me glow). Amazing dress.

Booty shorts
The shorts are crazy short but that running short cut is super flattering. The top was a little lose and boxy but it balanced out the shorty shorts. Loved this thing. I only have a picture from the chest up so Im not adding. Great for short legs. Sexy, comfy, casual, night out romper.

light and easy
This was just OK. Size down for back up. I felt like it made me look wide and there was nothing sexy about it. This romper is "cute" and kind of wholesome. After reading the reviews I took Lindsey's advice wore it to work with a long summer sweater and vintage necklace. It looked great.

Good for long torso
I tried to do a side view because the top really blouses out in profile. I recommend sizing down for a back up. The material is not shiny as it appears on the model. It is thick and abundant. There is room for booty and large bust - unfortunately I have neither of those things so I was swimming in it. The best part was that the crotch is low so I could hike the elastic waistband up to the the thinnest part of my waist and not get a wedge or cheek sneak. I have a long square hip box so rompers can be dangerous. This one was great - I will be renting the animal print version in a zero.

Frumpy on a short girl
The material was gorgeous quality and sexy. I loved the fit of the 2 up top but the midsection puckered and it clung to my hip and looked boxy. the 4 was significantly larger but I just felt shapeless because it is a modest length. I think it would work on someone with a curvy body (the cling would be sexy) or a long legs. It was just a sack on me.

Cute and casual
The embroidered eyelet details are a deeper red and the cotton is a summer tomato red. The color is amazing but the contrast makes it look like the dress is faded. I really really loved this dress. It was tight in the bodice and long enough for white legs in spring and my butt was covered as I sat. Pockets were fab. Just a really cute conservative day dress that was not dowdy. Will be renting again for work.

Sporty & Flirty with room for dessert
Date dress to a long dinner then drinks and walking. I'm small chested and athletic and the cut was perfect. The four was very fitted up top, tight in the waist and flowed away from the body so I could eat like a pig. It's very short which was a huge plus (I'm an umps lumpa) so I could wear flats and not get swallowed up by the dress. It's a thick material and a bold raspberry. Very flattering and different. It looked casual enough with a jean jacket but you could dress it up with elegant jewelry. Winner for sort girls.

Great for long torso. Not very sexy
This thing fit like a dream. It has extra material for the details/pleating in front so the whole "lap" is a bit bulky. The key hole is tightly sewn, not revealing at all. Lightweight material. I'm short with short legs and a long torso -Im usually a 2 or 4 and the 0 fit perfectly as far as length and had room for dinner. My only complaint was the back closures are a almost impossible to do yourself and just generally more conservative than I wanted for this particular date.

It was perfect for the deep plunge neckline. It was very long though. It came down to my belly button so I just hooked it further up the chain to shorten to the desired length. Great rental.

Not the most flattering for straight up and down, short legs but it was super comfortable. I ate, drank, ate some more then drank again... and it worked out great. Sexy deep plunge was great for a romantic dinner date.

Need a Tiny rib cage & flat tummy
The circumference of the top is maybe 30/32 inches (that is including boobs). I'm practically flat, wear a 34A and there was a two inch gap at the zipper I was not going to force. The image suggests a sleek and firm top. The actual material is very soft so the top was a bit lumpy... again, I didn't get it on right so maybe that settles down when you can fully zip it. That V cuts very low, a strapless with show but its thick so you won't see nips. The material is divine. It is so silky soft. All of the compression of the corset stops at the natural waist, so if you have a round belly, this will not work for you. The lower half feels like pajama bottoms! It's very chic and I would have loved to wear it. If you are between a 0 and a 2... order a 4

THE best dress I've ever worn.
I was completely covered for a work party yet so sexy. The material is matte, thick and super stretchy. I don't have many curves but this dress just emphasized everything in the right way. I cannot even believe how much I loved it. Fantastic for a straight up and down/boyish body. It's not going to work if you have big arms or very broad shoulders. The cut of the DRESS is very forgiving but the open armpit design of the attached shrug snuggles up to the soft part of your under arm. If thats a trouble spot, just don't do it. Its not meant to cover fat arms, its meant to show off skinny ones. My dress had a busted clasp that dug into my neck. I have to say that that was my only disappointment because Ive read that comment several times and assumed RTR would be repairing the dresses but.. obviously not a deal breaker. I stopped feeling it after my first glass of wine. LOVE this dress.

Sexy and Covered - Perfection
This dress was so sexy yet I didn't feel exposed. The material is lightweight with very little sheen so it can be dressed up or down. As mentioned in other reviews, the straps were long in comparison to the fit. Great for a flat chested long torso. The material was perfect, straps were perfect, slit was perfect, length was perfect, skin but no cleavage. My only negative is that it rode up as I walked and we did a lot of walking. I wouldn't want to dance in it but it was perfect for cocktails and theater. I was stopped on the street 2x and turned a lot of heads =)

too tight in the waist
The dress (size small) was absolutely stunning from the front and the super small waistline cinched everything in the middle. The side view was awful. That tiny waist created a strange bulge over my butt and a pooch in the front. All of the extra material just added girth and made my flat butt look really unattractive. I am pretty thin so this was a complete shock... however, I am still super soft from having kids. Maybe a more fit person would be fine. I thought it was going to make me look more curvy but its just not a good dress for a straight up and down slug girl. I've been obsessed with this dress for months so I was really upset but luckily I ordered a back up (Black Halo Sultry Cut Out Dress) and it was great. RTR still wins.

Get ready for attention
The material was thicker than I expected but it was great. The bodice fit like a glove and the length was perfect for a shortie. I have to say that this cut will look much better on short torso/long legs. It was not flattering from behind. There was a strange little buckling and bubble OVER my but because the jumpsuit wanted it to be higher lol. It was OK though, I have a mom butt and didn't expect it to look great in this outfit. I rented it because it's on trend and it fulfilled all of my expectations. Rent it!

So cute and comfy
The material is beautiful and rich, lightweight but not see through. The waistband is wide so it still shows off a small waist. Overall fit was really big. I definitely needed the XS but it wasn't available. I had to put a pin in the bottom of the keyhole to close the gap a bit but it looked great and was totally appropriate for a fun "day into night" birthday date. I WILL rent this again when I can get my size. Super comfortable and cute with just the right amount of sexy.

Dress for curvy girls
I wouldn't recommend it for someone who is not curvy. I ordered the xs for my backup dress - it was too much material and made me feel frumpy. I imagine the band of extra material camouflages some flaws but for a compact/small chested person, it just added bulk. It was very comfortable but lacked the wow factor I read in so many reviews. It was in perfect condition, gorgeous all around quality and detail … but not right for my body type.

Big style for little girl
This dress is absolutely beautiful. For some reason, I thought it would be very structured and stiff but it was just the opposite. It's light weight with a fair amount of stretch so it clings to the body and the sequins highlight every curve. There was a little gaping towards the bottom of the open back but it was not unattractive. The color was the perfect alternative to the LBD. In daylight it looks/photos almost royal blue but at night it is navy. I would say that it's true to size, I ordered the 2 & 4 and would have worn the 2 had I actually worn the dress (I didn't make it to the event). I am a very compact/short limbed person so the length was spot on… but I would say this would be super short on the average girl. My only suggestion would be some fashion tape on the shoulders for a little security. Its definitely a no bra dress.
