I rented this as a baby shower option, but it was super unflattering. At 31 weeks and 172#, the 8 was too small. I'm currently floating around a 34H (I.e. giant) bra size, and the girls simply didn't fit in the dress. I also have broad shoulders so overall a very bad look.

I rented this with the intention to wear for my bridal shower, but I found it to be just a little too "hacienda-inspired" for my more traditional event. I did not ultimately wear it. However, for a party with a fiesta theme, at a Mexican restaurant, on the beach, or with a summer chic/white party theme, this would be great! The quality of the dress is really high, and the colorful lacework is beautiful. The fit was also off for me. I'm 5'7" but with an exceptionally long torso and large bust. The waist on this dress was way too high for me... almost an empire waist. The overall length was fine. I am also broad shouldered and found the UK6 to be a bit tight in the shoulders but manageable. Tight shoulders is better than the whole dress falling down. :)

I wore this dress for my engagement photos! The color really popped on camera... my photographer specifically recommended finding a bright tomato/orangey red dress, as that color just GLOWS on film. This dress fit the bill perfectly. I'd describe it as a vermillion/persimmon/tomato instead of a true red. I am generally a 4 in dresses, but I wore the 2L; I am top heavy/inverted triangle shaped (36" 32DD bust, 27" waist, 36" hip) so I have issues finding a dress that fits all over. This one worked well for me because of the stretch crepe fabric. It was a little more revealing than I anticipated in the chest and had just a smidge too much room in the hip for me. However, I really loved how it looked! I am 5' 7.5", wearing 3" heels. In the 2L, it was just a little too short (about 1.5" clearance from the ground), but it didn't bother me. Did not love the bow on the butt, but I got over it because the rest of the dress turned out so well.

I rented this dress for my mom (52) to wear to a formal gala. She always wears either a 10 or 12 in contemporary evening (including all Badgley Mischka she's ever tried on), but neither size fit her in this dress. The 12L was uncomfortably tight in the bust and upper chest area (38C). Also, we noticed that the front of the 12L had a big patch (3" x 3") of sequins missing! It was very noticeable, and I assume it would be that way in photographs as well. Ultimately, both of these issues caused her to decide not to wear the dress. We had to go find another last-minute option. That being said, this is a BEAUTIFUL DRESS!! The sequins are matte, not too shiny, which makes this dress formal and elegant, not Vegas-y. I would certainly recommend this for a mature customer (50+). The color is amazing (a dark forest green with a little blue in it), and the quality of the construction and materials is very high. I wish she could have worn it!
