I rented this for a party that got cancelled, but will hold on to it anyway.
The red is a rich red, and due to the fabric, the fit is forgiving. I rented a 6, but could have gone with a 4 easily. I think the sizing should have been small/medium/large type sizing due to the range of sizes this 6 could fit. If you're not sure how it'll fit, just get your usual size and don't worry. It's fairly magical in fit. You might want to use fashion tape though, unless you're daring like me. :) This is a dress where you will risk sharing. Also, nipple petals will be needed if it's chilly and you don't want to beam your headlights at the world. If you do, cool. It's a sexy dress. The world won't end for it. For me, I'll use petals when I do wear this, hopefully for a date next weekend.

One of the cutest things ever!
This purse is so precious that it kills me to return it without using it. I do need it to be able to fit my phone, an iPhone 11 Pro Max, but it doesn't. I can fit my ID and single key and debit card and lip gloss in anything, but need my phone to fit. :( If you have a normal-sized phone you won't have this issue. This purse can fit a lot, but the body is narrow. :(

That doesn't mean this can't be worn by hourglasses, but size up and anticipate it riding lower on your waist. The leather itself is incredibly soft and worth sacrificing the high-waist look for.

Very nautical!
This was for a date that didn't happen, but I'm still glad I rented it since I know how it'll fit for a future event. As far as Hervé goes, this one is more forgiving. It's snug, if course, but as more moving room than usual. Usually Hervés that have room to move are baggy on me. For this one, the spandex just felt stretchier instead. If you're new to this maker, I recommend starting with this one. It's a great starter-Hervé. :D

Very pretty dress, now here's some fitting info and caveats for larger busts.
As soon as I saw this dress, I had to wear it. Since other reviews said the sleeves were snug, I sized up figuring I could live with a loose waist easier than right sleeves. My biceps are 12", and the medium and large I got both fit fine there, and either would be fine. A small might have been a bit uncomfortable. The sleeves were, so my surprise, long enough for me. I have VERY long arms. There was an unexpected fit issue. The front of the bodice isn't cut to accommodate a larger bust. Depending on specific bra, I'm between a 32DDD and 34DD, sometimes a 32DD or 34DDD, but usually those first two. The bodice of the large fit my chest, but then the strap that goes around the ribcage is too long by too much to safety pin. Since that piece is cotton, I think it's stretched over time. I didn't care for the way it hung, so won't wear this dress. Since my fit issue is due to my own body being so far outside the typical (DD and DDD busts usually aren't even natural...mine aren't!), I don't feel justified in removing stars. For someone with an average bust for their frame, they won't have this issue. If you are bustier, you will really need to consider if you're perky enough to stay up in the bodice or if you sag enough that you might fall out (busty people understand the risk I mean). Body tape can only do so much. Unless you're much smaller in the bust, you'll want to consider body tape. The docked star is because the ribcage straps on both are a bit stretched, and this is something that needs to be considered by future renters of this dress. Otherwise, I'd have worn the large. I'm a major fan of Hervé because of how drop-dead sexy they are, and this dress? Just as sexy, but with a touch of romanticism. I LOVE it.

Very comfortable dress, versatile.
While snug, this dress is a bit more forgiving than the typical Hervé. I could have gone with an XS and been fine. This isn't from the dress being stretched out either. The one I received is very new. The shade of pink is a lot more hot pink, and that's exactly what I wanted. A note on fit from a regular-wearer of this brand: When zipping up, Hervé dresses will seem tight, even like they won't make it to zip. Unless you are FAR larger, this dress will fit. I've got a 27" waist, 38" hips, and wear a 32DD-34DDD, depending on the cut of a bra (but 38" bust), and the XS fit. Only two Hervé smalls have ever been too small. Otherwise small or even XS do fit. If you aren't comfortable with tight dresses that show everything, please look for a different line. This style is called bodycon for a reason. :)

Perfect LBD
This LBD is perfection. Absolutely perfection. It's able to be sexy, but can also be a bit more serious depending on how you do your hair and what shoes you pick. I wouldn't suggest it for most job interviews, but it's certainly fine for a holiday or party or to meed the family. If you're tall, it can be a bit short, but nothing black stockings and black flats can't handle. Or black shiny heels if you want to be a bombshell. :D This really tops every other LBD I've ever tried on.

Runs small, even for Hervé
I wear Hervé a lot. Yes, even for everyday. I'm extra like that. I outright own a dozen. But, while the casual wearer might think that so snug means a small fit, I know how Hervé fits, and expect that very snug fit. I always wear a small, but this time, this and another Hervé RTR has both fit very small and I'd need a size up. Now I did notice that these two dresses have a different tag inside of them. Instead of the square tag with three concentric squares and the name, they're solid white with Hervé Léger Paris. I'm not sure if there's been a shift in sizing or what, but the other dresses I rented, including a brand new one with the tags still, have the three-squares tag and the small fits perfectly fine. For this dress, it's imperative that you order a size up from what you usually would.
