Leather Circle Skirt

Loved this skirt. I accidentally ordered the XXL so it was loose in the waistline. But I had the XL in the green version of this skirt and I loved it; it fit perfectly. The a frame style is super flattering and the length is perfect. It's right in the middle between butt and knee!

After reading the reviews I was afraid it was going to be tiny, but to me it felt true to size if not a little bigger. I did feel like it stretched out while sitting which is more obvious by the length and flare in the standing photo (I know, circle skirt, but still). I have bigger legs and butt so this allowed me to get the mini skirt feel without the pulling in the butt, thighs, and gap in the waist. Perfect for a night out almost anywhere. Definitely purchasing.

I have a 26 inch waist, and the small fit perfectly. I prefer skirts to sit high up on the waist, and this one did just that. It's made of super soft and supple leather and was a great skirt to wear out at night. The only negative would be that it does wrinkle easily-- I packed it on a trip and had to lay it out for a day to give it time to unwrinkle. This isn't a look I would normally go for, but so glad I did.

I loved this skirt! The fit was amazing and flattering. The leather was super soft and buttery! The zipper detail in the back made it a little edgy. Perfect for a night out!

I would have to totally disagree with the other reviews and say this fits very true to size. I'm usually a size 6, occasionally a size 4. I got the medium despite everyone saying to size up and it fits absolutely perfectly. The length is cute, not too short, not too long. It sits comfortably right below my belly button. The leather is beautiful and so soft. I cannot wait to wear this. It's the perfect fall skirt.

Runs a touch small, but with thick tights I felt appropriate for date night. Soft leather and classic circle cut makes for a great garment. Lining does run a tad long, but it was t too noticeable with dark opaque tights.

The skirt is a bit narrow in the waist so I wore it right above my belly button. It was a bit short but I wasn't worried about my backside being exposed. I would rent again.

The reviews I'd seen made me think I needed to size up so I gave the medium a try. It definitely didn't look too big and the length was good for me, I wanted it to sit higher on my waist which would have required me to get my normal size small. I typically wear 26 waist bottoms so I think sizing depends on wear you want it to sit on you. Will see if I can wear the M again but would love to give the S a try!

This skirt runs very small and is very short. Also the lining showed below the skirt. Other than those two things I would have liked it and probably worn it.

Cute with a crop top

I can't begin to express my disappointment in this skirt. Two stars for the beautiful, buttery leather, but minus three for fit. I'm a solid 12 or large. Sometimes if something runs small I'll size up to a 14 or XL. Just to be on the safe side I sized up to XXL. That just wasn't enough. I had to shimmy my way into the skirt and suck everything way in while praying to the fashion gods to get it to zip. I succeeded, but I did not think it looked so great. I was going to take this on a business trip, but clearly this isn't going to work out. For reference, the lay flat measurement of the waist on this skirt for the XXL is 15.5".

The leather is thin and so there is a lot of give. I usually have to wear skirts bigger, so I got the large but medium would have been ok. I was able to tuck in the top I wore with it and also wear tights under but it wasn't holding any stomach pooch in or making me more shapely. It's adorable, I would rent again, but medium.

That doesn't mean this can't be worn by hourglasses, but size up and anticipate it riding lower on your waist. The leather itself is incredibly soft and worth sacrificing the high-waist look for.

Great fit and very stylish

I am a true size 4 at Loft and I ordered this skirt in a M and the waste was too small. The leather and cut are both amazing. Wish I could I have fit into it.

I sized up from my usual and it was huge. I'm 5'2 and it was too long. I'm guessing a medium would have been perfect.

size up for sure if you're curvy

I really like this leather skirt. The length is good and looks cute with a pair of tights and boots in the winter. I would keep it if it weren't still rather expensive.

This leather skirt is soft and comfortable. I wore this for a night out. Might be a little long for someone less than 5' 6". I ordered a size up based on reviews and was glad I did.

I love this skirt. It is super versatile to dress up or down. I wore it was a casual, lower cut army green shirt tucked in and received a ton of compliments. It is a high waisted skirt and falls mid-thigh, and was quite comfortable and surprisingly not hot for the material. Wanted to buy it. It does run a little small (like a teeny-tiny bit).

It's a little snug through the waist compared to other brands, but a quality item.

The quality of the skirt is very high-- well made, buttery leather. Looks expensive. The fit is on trend-- very short and with a high waist. For me, the fit was true to size.

Fit well flattering

I originally ordered a medium and lucked out and received a new skirt with tags. The leather is soft, but the waist was too big. So I ordered a size small. It was a totally different skirt (different zippers and placement, seemed old and worn out, and it was ridiculously small). I ended up buying the new skirt in a size medium and had it altered. Worth the trial and error. Beautiful!

I loved this skirt because it's the perfect length and material to wear without having to worry about wind! I felt comfortable and confident walking around. The only issue I had was that the lining underneath kept poking out, it seems to be longer than the skirt itself.

The skirt is fun and good for casual but it looks a bit cheap. I normally am a size six and ordered a large. It was big on me but I kept it and wore it once and returned.

I really loved the look and super soft feel of this skirt. I am usually a 6/8 and rented a L, and it was still a bit snug in the waist and a litrle short for my liking, so I didn't end up wearing it. This look great on a shorter girl, though. Super cute and high quality!

Order at least 2 sizes up

This runs very true to size. It is supposed to be high waisted and the quality is amazing. Definitely would want this in my actual size so I could wear it.

I am 5'1, 115lbs, 47 years old, in a conservative industry, a 2. After reading reviews I rented a medium, figuring it might sit loose/low on the waist. That was a correct hypothesis. With opaque tights it was decent, barely, for work. I think my problem with this skirt is that it's a cross between a circle and an a-line, which is a little risque at this length -- I really a black leather skirt like this to be a cross between an a-line and a pencil, more conservative, with less flare at the mid thigh length.

I rented this thinking it would be cute to wear to the office with tights...however, when I tried it on, it was very short.

It's pretty but kind of Short for My taste. Ended Up not wearing it.
