Great 90’s throwback
This fit perfectly, but I have a smaller chest— though it does have stretch. Paired it with wide leg black slacks, and it was the perfect day outfit for a birthday museum visit.

Absolutely enormous waist, pleats gone
The skirt I received had almost no pleats. It looked like someone had very determinedly ironed them out- there was a whisper of a hint of pleats sporadically, which was even worse. What made it unwearable entirely, though, was the waist was just enormous. I’m between a 4/6 (27 inch waist, 36 inch hips) on bottoms depending on brand due to my hips, and this 4 sat so low that when I walked it actually began to fall down. So disappointing, as the weight, sheen and print of the fabric was really high quality, and I had an event in mind for it. The fabric is the only reason it gets two stars.

One vote for *not* too long
I’m 5’10” and I have a 35” inseam and typically wear a 27. I think these are big, but not too long. The length is just right for me, no heels needed, but I wish I’d sized down to a 26 for a more flattering fit. They’re enormous everywhere.

Construction issues
The zipper and button was utterly off center. Made them impossible to wear, it was extremely obvious and looked really bad. While the fit was fine, they did seem like they’d stretch out.

Just meh
These absolutely loosen up over the course of the day. They were fine and I wore them once, but they didn’t feel cute or flattering. They were just barely long enough for me when I put them on (I typically need a 35 inseam), but by the days end they were stretched enough to be the right length. You could probably get them there yourself when you first get dressed, tall girls know what I mean.

Weird and unflattering
Like other reviewers, I thought this might be ok because it was such a fun print and general cut- it was not! The tie process was just impossible to emulate from the photos in a way that looked flattering and stayed put when moving. I honestly still think it would be ok if you’re pregnant, but as I’m not it just was weird.

I ended up renting this despite the reviews because I love a denim dress, and because I have a pretty small chest so I thought the gapping would be minimal. It's really a design issue though- the dress fit fine, if anything there was extra room in the top, but the hooks and eyes are in such a weird position they make it gap totally unnecessarily. The tight sleeve thing is legit, though it wouldn't have been a huge issue. Lack of tassels was also disappointing. I did love the stretchy fabric.

Gorgeous dress, too big
This is a weird one, occasion-wise. It's a high quality dress- gorgeous fabric and details, perfect length on my tall frame. It's tough to figure out where exactly I'd wear it, since it's so low cut. Ultimately the smallest size was just too loose, I had a good couple inches on each side. I could see how flattering it would have been if it fit closer- for reference I have about a 26 inch waist and 36 inch hips. Sad to send it back immediately- if there was a smaller option I would have exchanged it!

The key to making this work is torso length
Pros: great quality, thick stretchy knit and vibrant colors. Cons: length is definitely shorter than the model picture implies if you're my height, though not too short at all. I sent back without wearing because the lines just hit a weird place on my torso. Despite the zig zag, there is still sort of a waist. On me it began too high, and that made the fabric look weirdly unflattering on my hips.

Runs quite big.
I sent this one back immediately because it was too big. With this style, I think you really want the bottom to be snug and form fitting on your hips and rear, because the flounce layer on the top prevents you from having a waist or shape otherwise. I might've kept it without that snugness in another style, but it just took away any shape I had. I'm a pretty solid 2/4, so if I need a 0 in anything it runs pretty big. Good for tall girls, though. The sheer part began for me well below where I'd be worried.

Huge tent of a top!
I didn't end up wearing it, because it was so huge I couldn't really make it work. It probably would've been ok tucked into a pencil skirt and blousy, but I didn't have the occasion while I had it. Pretty color- much prettier in person actually, but it honestly fit me like a large!

Unique style that is very snug!
Overall, I really liked this top. It was tough to get into, and snug when on, but not uncomfortably so. I tend to like a solid structured top, and this fit the bill. It was long enough in the sleeves and torso for my height, so it was well fitted for tall ladies.

So flattering and not too short!
I loved this dress, even though I didn't get a chance to wear it this time I'd absolutely rent it again. Pros: the thick fabric was incredibly flattering and held me in in all the right ways, and the pattern was eye- catching and beautiful. I was so worried this would be too short for me, but it was actually perfect- short enough to be sexy, but not so short I felt like I would flash people. Cons- none! Just that it ended up being too cold to wear it! Rent this if you're on the fence!

Cute quilting, but the faux shearling didn't work for me.
Reviewing mostly to share the sleeve length with other tall ladies- this jacket was just at the limit for my arm length that I'd feel comfortable wearing-- ideally it would be another inch to truly work for me. The faux shearling panels in the front were ok, but I hated it on the collar, it felt like it cheapened the look a bit. My favorite part was absolutely the quilting on the shoulders.
