Givin’ you some Elle Woods
Big pop of pink stands out in a crowd. I wore this for a press conference and the pink translated really well. The material is very stretchy, so I would size down if I rented again. It reminded me of something Elle Woods would wear. I had to laugh when I was carrying my dog out to the car and caught a glimpse of myself ... the dress is gorgeous, but it’s a little much to carry a little dog while wearing it!

Modern twist on a basic black dress
Really liked this dress. The sleeves were kind of tight, with no stretch. But overall, it’s a very nice dress. I wasn’t sure what to expect with the fabric, but it’s like a rayon and not heavy or stretchy.

Plaid Perfection!
This dress is totally adorable! I was a little skeptical about wearing it to work, as I work in high-profile environment in which suits are the norm, but I wore opaque tights and a leather jacket and ended up receiving tons of compliments all day. I confided in a few friends that I was worried it was inappropriate, but they reassured me it was super cute and fine for work. It’s whimsical and flirty. Will rent it again!

Like a scuba suit
This fits so snug, I felt like I was wearing a scuba suit made of carpet. It is tight and kind of cropped, so I found myself tugging at it all day to pull it down in back. By the end of the day, the tightness was just too much. You know how it feels when an elastic wristband cuts your circulation off? Thats how my arm felt. But, it’s cute! :)

Feminine and flirty feel
This is such a cute dress. It has a very comfortable ease to it. The fabric is almost like a heavy linen. The sleeves are a little awkward in that the seams hit you in an awkward spot, making it hard to lift your arms.

Didn’t expect such a pretty dress to be so comfortable!
I rented this dress for a work event. It’s very pretty and I really liked the details on the shoulders, but I ended up feeling a little self-conscious about how much cleavage it revealed in a work environment, so I wore a leather jacket over it all day. Regardless, it is very pretty and forgiving!

I wore this for a swearing in ceremony. I liked the length and delicate lace details. Although it’s not my favorite shade of red, it photographs well. The knit bodice is a heavier fabric (think St. John) That has some stretch, but there is no stretch in the lace arms.

Just TOO Long!
I like a dress that falls below the knee. And I was drawn to this one because of the cute sleeves. But it was just too long! I am 5’9” and wear heels and felt like the length was SO long it looked matronly. Didn’t wear to work event.

I normally wear a size 12. I ordered the XXL according to the sizing chart and it was two sizes too big! I wasn’t very impressed with the fabric. I thought it was going to be lace, but it was more like crochet.

Dramatic sleeves are eye catching!
I usually wear a 12, but it wasn’t available, so I ordered the 14. The biggest problem with this dress is that the buttons on the front over the bust won’t stay closed for anything! The buttons are too small for the botton holes, so the only way to keep the front closed is to pin it shut. The fabric overlaps the buttons, so it’s all hidden anyways. The fabric is a nice weight and has some stretch to it.

There is no stretch in the fabric, so order up a size if you want more room to move or want a slouchy look. This jacket is super stinkin cute! I loved the metallic threads in the fabric and along the cuffs and waistband.

Sweet Red Dress
I wanted to try this designer and see how things fit. I normally wear a 12, but it was not available. The 14 fit well in the chest. There isn’t any stretch to this dress, so I could have worn a 12, but it would probably have been too tight on my chest and that’s just not my thing! I like the just-below-the-knee look. This dress is not lined, so spanks are critical for the smoothest look. The fabric is a thin, crepe-like fabric.

When you attend your son's wedding as the "step mom," your dress better be killin it!
Attending your son's wedding can be anxiety ridden (seeing him turn into a man over night AND seeing "the ex"). The ex wore a long gray dress (which ended up looking very matronly). So this wine-colored sparkly dress ended up being the perfect pop of color for a fall wedding! I wear a 12 or 14 and thought the 12 was kind of tight around the rib cage. I had ordered the 14W as the next size up, but it was too big. It was tough to get the zipper up over the horizontal seam across the ribs because it can be hard to get a zipper over a thick seam, but I got it up (thanks to my awesome Spanx!). I loved the knee length and thought it was very appropriate. I wore my hair to the side to show off the draped open back of the dress and received lots of compliments.
