So many compliments! Would have been 5 stars but 4 because of the buttons. I wore this to court and the buttons kept coming undone. Luckily i am flat chested so it kinda just sat in place, not exposing anything lol

Brought this for a work trip in some hot weather so I didn't feel like I needed to wear a blazer. It was fun, a bit unique but still felt professional enough. 

I kind of expected this to be very conservative but there was a lot of stretch that hugged my curves very well. I had to wear a tank under bc the buttons wouldn't hold. Not one. Not for a second. I actually prefer the way it looks open anyway. It's easy to get into on your own and the fabric is a medium thickness so maybe not the best for summer events. 

For a black dress, this piece is a stunner. I do think that it would be a little too formal for some offices. I rented it for work but will consider it again for an event. It fit very well and the fabric is a little stretchy. My only critique is that the sleeves were a little too baggy for my taste. 

Wore this dress all day - to a forum and then to a happy hour afterwards. Fits perfectly and the sleeves gave it a bang that made it stand out from the everyday black dress look. Very happy with how it made my silhouette look. 

I had a long work day and had to do a quick refresh and head back out to a fundraiser and was feeling uninspired about what to wear. Arrived home to an RTR delivery.siyh tvisagical number included i had planned to wear another dress big it wasn't looking good so I tried on all my rentals  this one last and I never wanted to take it off! I've found that a key to success in Fashion is finding the brands or designer that work for your body and style and for me, Badgley Mishka is Mecca.  So well made, gorgeous fabric and classic design. I feel like a gazillion bucks in These beautiful clothes,  and honestly dmt want to take this dress off. Can't wait to rent again

Overall a good fitting dress, and you will stand out wearing it. 

Let me start by saying I love this dress!! It fits perfectly and the lace sleeves add texture and variance to the all-black palette. This dress is zippered up the back and had working buttons all up the front. Why have both?! Especially since the buttons do not stay closed. I had to pin the front shut to avoid an unprofessional wardrobe malfunction. If it hadn't been for the buttons, this would have been a five star review.

Nice fit. I work this to a work event and felt great. I had to safety pin the front closed. The other reviewers were not kidding this just pops right open

Loved the dress, it was very slimming and I received a ton of compliments. The downside was that the buttons in the front would not stay closed. I had to re-button constantly while wearing. This could be a simple fix, not sure if the button holes were stretched. Otherwise great dress. 

I usually wear a 12, but it wasn’t available, so I ordered the 14. The biggest problem with this dress is that the buttons on the front over the bust won’t stay closed for anything! The buttons are too small for the botton holes, so the only way to keep the front closed is to pin it shut.  The fabric overlaps the buttons, so it’s all hidden anyways. The fabric is a nice weight and has some stretch to it.  

Beautiful fabric with some weight. Fit is a bit roomy but no wrinkles on a China business trip. Works well in the office and out to dinner. Sleeves add interest to a basic black dress #worktravel #professionalwoman

This dress is lovely and I would have given it 5 stars except that the buttons in the front kept opening all day. And not just one but multiple - so at one point I did actually walk into a restroom with a mirror after walking down the hallway to find I had probably flashed ppl on the way bc multiple buttons had come undone. So I just felt I was monitoring that all day. Otherwise it fits nicely and is a nice material and pretty sleeves. 

Fitted & love how it went over the knee. Chic & flattering. 

I would rent this dress again in a heartbeat. The sleeves are quite long but I was able to take care of that with a little safety pin. Very stylish, very chic and flattering. 

True to size elegant dress that can skew funeral-ish but those front buttons?  UGH. 
 They were unnecessary and frustrating.  There is a back zipper so the front buttons are frustrating as the buttons are too small for the button holes and they just pop open.  I wore a black camisole underneath, kept those buttons open and wore a fun brooch at the waist. 

I ordered this for a work trip. I should have ordered a smaller size. It was so nice but to big. 

The buttons don't stay closed. The fabric on the buttons and closures is too light and the buttons kept slipping open. 

This dress was pretty and I loved the lace sleeves. The issue here was with the buttons, they really do not like to stay closed so I wore a tank under the dress. It also has a slit in the front of the dress that did not sit right. Overall, this was a good one time rental for work. 

Despite warnings from earlier reviews, I took the risk and ordered this. Cannot be worn without safety pins! Buttons were already unbuttoning as I finished getting dressed. 

I normally wear a size 4 but read the reviews of others who were my same weight or less wore the 6 which I got and was baggy on me. You could also tell that it had been ironed too many times by the look of the dress or dry cleaned too much. Over all I did not wear because it did not fit and the buttons wouldn’t stay fastened.

These buttons don’t stay buttoned. They popped open within ten seconds of trying it on. No way I could wear this out in public, since the front is a row of buttons. 

This dress is pretty, but I could not get it to stay buttoned. I usually wear a 12 regular, and got it in that size and in a 14 as a back up. The 12 was snug so I thought that was why the buttons wouldn't stay fastened. But when I tried the 14, I was swimming in it and even then the buttons still would not stay fastened. It's a real shame because the sleeves on this make it a really beautiful garment.  But I needed it for a funeral, and could not take the risk of having a wardrobe malfunction. 

I went to wear this to work. When I initially tried it on it was tight across the hips but not terribly so and two of the buttons that came right across my chest wouldn't close. I really wanted to wear this to day 1 of an event this weekend so I figured I'd put a very thin tank under and let the first three buttons be open. Nope! When I put it on with the tank none of the buttons wanted to stay closed. these types of buttons are so loose that even the slightest tension and they come undone. 

I was so bummed! the dress fit beautifully but the buttons all the way up the front would not stay buttoned. Every one! completely not wearable and disappointed

Great dress in theory but fabric way too heavy for spring/summer. Sleeves very long.

Buttons keeps opening up. I couldnt even leave my bedroom without showing my entire bra.

-The buttons. The buttons are not formatted for this dress. My bust was fine, but the holes were too large and the buttons would not stay closed. 

The darts in the top of the dress hit right at the center of my breasts.  I did not want attention drawn to that area so I did not wear it.

The material of this dress is a perfect thickness with stretch. It feels really good on. I wore a belt to define my waist because it doesn't really give you any shape.

I ordered this is two sizes and this one was too big, but the 4 was perfect.

Very cute!  Poofy sleeves that are double my arm's diameter.
