Shockingly cute
I'm short and not thin, so this was a long shot, but it was shockingly cute on me. The loose legs are flattering and even the cutout is in the perfect place. I could not wear this with a bra but it was OK without on me. The only annoying thing is having to take the whole thing off to pee.

Unlike the other reviewers I found this to be too small in the top for me, specifically around the ribcage. I had ordered a size down from my normal and could not zip it all the way up, so I'd be sure to try to get your real size!

Lovely, bright, elegant
Beautiful dress. Classy. The blue really pops in person, and the structure is very flattering. Has a built in corset/bra so you don't need to wear one. I wore spanx just to smooth everything out. The length was great on me at 5'3, if you're taller definitely go for the L.

This dress is beautiful. At 5'3 the longest part grazed the floor in 3" heels. The back detail is beautiful and the fabric is very forgiving. Invest in a stick-on bra or go braless!

Pretty pretty ballerina
This was a very pretty dress, sort of Audrey Hepburn-ish. Full skirt, the back looks less bustle-like in real life. Two fit notes to be aware of: the waist is very fitted, which gives it sort of a ballet look, and the top is fairly loose. If you are hourglass shaped this will be very pretty, but it might be big if you are small-chested.

This was a really fun party dress, reminded me vaguely of the 80s with the neckline, sleeves, and full skirt. The material is heavy which is great for fall, and a really pretty color. Fitted through the body, very true to size.

Gorgeous dress, but runs very small
If you're used to Kate Spade, you know that her dresses tend to run large. I have another dress from this season that I bought in a size 4, so I was sure an 8 or a 10 would fit me. No dice. This dress is GOREGOUS, lovely fabric, wonderful vintage-feeling cut, but I could not zip up the 10 at all, which was too bad. Order a size up, especially if you have a belly or large chest.

Pretty and very flattering
This dress is elegant and will be perfect for the holidays. I am currently wearing about a size 10 and the 10 was a little bit big in the shoulders and arms, no problem fitting me in the chest (currently a 38D). The front of the skirt is short, it was right around knee length on me and I'm only 5'3. Overall a great dress when you want to look fashionable without showing too much skin.

Had a baby recently, and so I'm still carrying extra weight in the midsection. Unfortunately this dress, which fit fine in the bust, was just too tight in the stomach for me. Would look better on an hourglass, pear, or straight figure.

Lela Rose always runs small and I was surprised to see a review saying this ran big. It is very fitted in the waist so if you are bigger in the waist this will not be flattering. At time of rental I was somewhere in the 10-12 range and could not zip this up. It's also better for someone tall, at 5'3 I found the length overwhelmed me. Otherwise a beautiful dress.

Beautiful, elegant, classy
I had a baby 3 weeks ago and was in the groom's party of a formal wedding, so I needed something beautiful that would fit my postpartum body. This dress was absolutely perfect. I am only 5'3 and this dress is cut fairly short compared to other RTR gowns, so it was great for me in the regular length, no risk of tripping as I walked down the aisle. I wore a nursing bra with a bra extender so that the back strap wouldn't show and it was fine, the material is also totally fine for going braless. A great choice if you're looking for something sexy and sophisticated.

Incredibly Flattering
This dress is gorgeous and incredibly easy to wear. I am 6 months pregnant and was very nervous about what to wear for my husband's formal holiday party, but when I saw this material described as "very stretchy" I took a game and it really worked out. This would be flattering on almost everyone. The black front is very slimming (one person didn't even realize I was pregnant until he saw me from the side!) and has ruching that will camouflage most stomachs. The length is great, at 5'3" 3-3.5 inch heels worked fine. And the back is so sexy, I got several compliments. Great dress, I would definitely rent it again.

Cute but small top
This dress is very pretty, tea length on me and a nice pretty full skirt. The material is silky and light. The one thing I would say is the the top is somewhat smaller than you might expect, and the waist hit higher than my natural waist, so if you're busty or broad-chested you might try a size up as your backup. But I got a lot of compliments and felt very pretty in it.
