The texture of this dress is really unique - it almost looks scaly (but in a non-creepy way). I like it better than the other colors this dress comes in because the dress is sexy enough on its own and doesn't need to be flashy gold on top of being essentially backless and also super short. Like other people mentioned the neck straps do get uncomfortable but not enough that it's distracting. The best part is that it's loose around the stomach but is draped really well so you can eat a real dinner and still go out after. I LOVED this dress and I wish I could keep it!!

Gorgeous fabric and gorgeous colors - perfect for a holiday party! I thought I might have issues with the top but it fit perfectly and I used a belt so that there wasn't too much volume in the bottom - otherwise it can look like you're bigger than you really are. Beautiful!!

This dress was super comfortable and fit well without making me feel too body-conscious (read: you can eat a big dinner). The sequins didn't snag at all and I liked that they were bronze, so they were a little bit more subdued than all out gold or silver. Overall, such a cute dress and it was perfect for a company holiday party!!

Since Issa is a UK brand, I asked a stylist what size I should get since normally the sizing runs really small compared to US sizes. Unfortunately, the UK size 8 I got was enormous and seriously was like a big boxy bubble around me. I had been looking forward to wearing it for my company holiday party but thankfully I ordered a backup dress...I really wish I had gone with a UK size 4, though, because I think it is probably really cute with the proper fit. Other than that, the fabric is really beautiful and this dress is perfect for the holidays...really wish the sizing was more clear on this site, especially since they randomly have a nondescript "size 2" mixed in with the rest.

Such a pretty dress and very easy to wear - the shift shape is pretty forgiving although the bottom is tighter than the top (not that restricting though). There are really no risks with this dress - it is a such a knockout! For some reason the dress looks kind of long on the model (as far as mini dresses go), but it was pretty darn short and hip hugging on me and I'm only 5'6". There was a lot of boobage (in a good way), so I didn't wear a bra and it wasn't a big deal. Not for the shy!! I think if I could have worn Spanx I would have, but nevertheless it still held all the jiggles in alright!

Such a cute and easy dress but you definitely need adhesives because the slit in the back is HUGE! I got the Braza adhesive bra from this site and they worked perfectly to hold the girls up all night. The sleeves hit perfectly at my wrists, the length is mid thigh if not a little lower, and the overall fit is pretty forgiving - all things that are very conservative which is necessary considering how much back you're going to end up showing!

This dress is gorgeous but the length is pretty long. I'm 5'6" and I could have easily worn this to an office party because it was that conservative...so if you're looking for a party mini but aren't 5'10", just know that it isn't as short as it looks on the model. It did get hot throughout the night because it's not a dress you can roll up the sleeves on, but that's a small price to pay for how cute and comfy the dress is (the sequins don't scratch at all). The marbling of the dress also is very flattering and does a good job of hiding love handles, food babies, and beer bellies. Love it!
