The dress fit nicely. It was a pretty floral but not kiddish light.
I wore a long black cardigan over it because the building was air conditioned to excess but I felt pretty and that I was dressing as an adult woman not a juvenile spring time. I hope that makes sense.

Shape wear is important so the sheath has a bit of symmetry.
IF you think most lace looks childlike this might persuade you to go to the adult section. The color is not babyish but more blushy in tone. If I wear to repeat the dress I'd get better fitting shoes so that my look from top to bottom is in sync.

If you are short it is good to wear heels at least 3 inches or see if dress is in petite.
I wore a strapless dress and felt glamorous in a see of sequiny pink dresses. I would happily wear this dress again.

I was primed to attend a family wedding which we have not had in close to years in part due to Covid
The 14 did not fit and was too long for a short (5'2") woman. Maybe women with true hips are not going to fit this particular designer. I loved the color and the general look. Nevertheless, I had a fast fashion Shein lace dress and wore it. I felt pretty in it so I will in the future truly watch the petite issue and read reviews more closely.

I liked having something new, and a designer outfit. Ralph Lauren is a designer I view as classic.
I may have overestimated how much weight I've added because the dress felt a little loose in some spots. But I also don't like things that are so clingy. I loved the lace look and the fact that based on the length I could comfortably move about.
