Loved this dress! I received so many compliments and was even able to share about the rental process with a friend. As always hugging all the right curves, I was glad the dress went just below my knees. It was very comfy to wear. The sleeves were a little large but it still worked out fine. Rather be a little loose that too tight. Very easy to zip up and I was able to wear a normal shoulder strap bra. I would totally rent this dress again! Thank you, RTR!

I felt fabulous in this dress!  I initially tried on the 20W at home before I left town, and it fit perfectly!  However, when I was on my trip, it was that time of the month, which came with some additional bloat.  The 22W ended up being my savior!  I did wear a slightly slimming cami underneath, just to smooth myself out, but it wasn't needed to fit in the dress.  I wore the dress with some black booties, but it would have looked just as great with heels, or even flats if you wanted to dress it down a bit.  I didn't feel overdressed at dinner or at the theater.  This dress was a wonderful middle ground.  It made me feel absolutely stunning!  I am 5'8" and about 300 pounds, carrying most of it in my hips, thighs, and stomach.  I highly recommend this dress to anyone my size!

I ordered my normal size and ordered larger as back up. I didn't even have to try on the backup size, the dress fit perfectly - not too tight but not too loose. Was very comfortable and looked great for the gala we were attending. 

The dress was very comfortable. The sizes seem to run a bit large, but who doesn’t like thinking they must have lost some weight! Paired with gold jewelry for an awesome night out!

The fit was a little loose, the material is stretchy. I wish I had gotten the 16W but it wasn’t available. Super comfortable and I would wear it again! I’m 5’8 with a big bust, covered nicely! 

This dress was awesome! I followed the recommendations on previous reviews and sized down. The dress has some stretch to it which allows it to hug all the right curves. Slight ruche helps at the tummy. Super comfortable and classic style. Perfect for a high school reunion.

This was the most comfortable dress I've ever worn for an event. It covered my knees, the ruching on the side was a lovely element. I received tons of compliments and could have worn it ten more hours. 

The photo does not show that this dress falls just below the knee, which was so important to me as I am recovering from a tkr. Also being in the retirement age group, this style was perfect. The fit was a little large as I am a 14-16. The 14 was flattering and comfortable. The weight of the dress was perfect for an evening in January in upstate NY. This was my first time using rtr and definitely will use it again.

I wore this dress to my company's holiday party and received a lots of compliments. This was especially rewarding as I have not worn a dress for 17 years.  The dress was sexy without being revealing, showed off my curves plus was so comfortable.   It was a good length (to my knees), the sleeves were not tight. Overall it was a good experience choosing this dress from the fit, the style, the compliments and how comfy it was!   I will definitely use RTR again when I need an outfit for a special occasion. 

This fit like a glove. I got so many compliments on it. It was flattering, though the ruching on one side had me a little confused. It's got some stretch to it, so not like it's holding in your tummy or anything (which can be both good and bad!), but with the black and the lace I doubt people notice. I got it as a back up style for a company holiday party, but ended up wearing it in a symphony performance. I think the style is pretty versatile - it would be great for all kinds of occasions. 

This dress is so comfortable! I felt confident and beautiful in it. I would absolutely rent it again. I normally wear a size 16, and the size 14W fit perfectly.

I normally wear a 14, but only the 16 was available (the dress I originally was going to wear didn't work out, so this was a last minute replacement) and it was a bit large in the sleeves and in the hips, but still worked.  Loved the dress so much I plan to buy one, but in a 14.  I was worried the lace might be itchy, but wasn't at all. Thank you Rent the Runway for the rush replacement dress- you saved the day!!

I received this after the previous dress I ordered was too big.  It was NYE weekend so availability was slim ... and I'm grateful this dress worked!  It's hard to tell in pictures, but I loved the waist ruching.  Comfortable, flattering and worked for the occasion!

Needed a dress to wear for my office holiday party but had zero room for long-term dress storage in my closet. Hadn't tried Rent the Runway before and was a little nervous as I didn't know anyone similar in size/build to me that had used it, but decided to take the chance because I thought the dress was cute. The dresses came in ahead of schedule - I chose an 18W with 16W as my backup size. The 18W was a tiny bit loose in the middle but perfect in the arms, so I decided to wear it over the 16W which fit slightly more snugly in the arms than I like. The dress is very comfortable - the sleeves aren't lined but the lace wasn't itchy in the slightest. Got several compliments and felt great the whole night.

16W was a perfect fit for my size 18 pear shaped body. Enough ruching to hide my post-baby belly. Sleeves were breathable which was great when the party moved outside. Overall a reliable win with RL. 

This dress was very comfortable to wear. Form fitting in all the right places. I especially liked the 3/4 length sleeve as I tend to be self conscious of my arms.

The dress bunched up a little at the waist. I also had to be careful not to snag it on anything so that the fabric didn't tear.

This dress is very plus-size friendly. It has a nice bit of stretch, long sleeves and some gathering in the waist that I found to be very flattering. The other thing about this dress that I really liked is that the lace panel at the top is not see-through, only the sleeves are, which means you can wear your regular bra and/or any shapewear without worrying. A perfect mix of formal and comfortable. 

I needed a modest dress for a work event/party and this worked very well. Highly recommend.

Actually very comfortable! Everything stayed in place without tugging and the material has some stretch. Worked great for an awards dinner! 

This was a nice dress, but quite plain and a little matronly. I did not wind up wearing it as I didn't think it was very flattering on me.

I did not wear this to the wedding, since it looked a little bit too uptight for the occasion, but I did wear it to church the next morning and got a few compliments. I would say this would be perfect for an office party, but was a little boring for my event. It was a little big.

I may have overestimated how much weight I've added because the dress felt a little loose in some spots. But I also don't like things that are so clingy.  I loved the lace look and the fact that based on the length I could comfortably move about.  

Not meant for a tall person at all!  Waist is very short.  I typically can wear regular length shirts and dresses but the torso on this dress seems unusually short. 

This dress fit true to size and was just what I was looking for. Keeping this for an event next month!

The ruching at the waist made for a very flattering fit.  The dress looks a bit like a sack in the picture on line but looked much nicer on me.  I wore this to a work-related after-hours cocktail celebration and it was perfect for the event.  The lace added a touch of elegance without being flashy.
